Exeeded our expectations!

Location was great. Close to everything: restaurants, shops, cafes, car rental, but still very private with a great beach access. The view was the best thing, unreal. Crystal clear water, great for swimming and snorkeling. Like a post card!

Loved our stay in Rarotonga everything would have been perfect, if the wind had been a bit kinder.

The communications with Kym and Ricky were excellent, with clear instructions given prior to arrival, which made finding the accommodation very easy. We loved everything about the accommodation, lying in bed in the morning and being able to see the beach, sitting out on the deck enjoying the beautiful view, with the added benefit of being sheltered and protected from the wind and while there were days when it was very windy on the beach, sitting on the deck was always nice and protected. We stayed in Unit 2 upstairs, and when first told this was where we would be staying, I was a little disappointed as I had my heart set on a ground floor apartment. This disappointment didn't last, we loved being upstairs and we loved the privacy of this unit, would highly recommend for any couples staying and the ground floor ideal for those staying with young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved coming back each day and walking through the door to be greeted with the most fabulous view, especially loved how the doors folded back giving an uninterrupted view when inside. An added bonus was the supermarket for any supplies being within close proximity, with I'm sure what was the best value ice cream cones on the island.

on one of Raro's best beaches , with amazing views of the lagoon . Wifi is super fast .

We totally would recommend these apartments we had two young children in the upstairs apartment an getting up an down st

Right on the beach🏝️ Views are just stunning . Whales to watch . 🐳 Children 2 years an 10 months loved the chickens great entertainment . Kayaks handy an fun to go out on . Laundry room brilliant especially with little ones .

Only little things Blood on the duvet . Otherwise nice an clean apartment The 2 year old broke the glass top of outdoor table it’s not stuck on so next time I would take it off . People with family below had the same concern . But really easy things to sort .

Great beachfront stay on the lagoon.

Fantastic location on the beach with great lagoon for safe snorkeling and paddling. Snorkel equipment and kayaks provided. Comfortable, well equipped apartment giving you the bbq/eat-in option - with 2 good restaurants nearby, should you not fancy washing up! Close to 24/7 supermarket should you run out of any essentials. Good, free wifi available. A real bonus was watching the hump-back whales pass by at the edge of the lagoon.

Couldn't drink the tap water without boiling it. However, the hosts provided a (pre-filled) water carrier/dispenser of potable water and the 'top-up' source ("community tap") was literally next door - so more a minor inconvenience rather than a 'dislike'. Apart from that, nothing else to dislike.

Excellent location with easy access to beach and great hosts who were accommodating of any requests.

Great place to unwind and just spend all day on the beach. Apart from trip to the Saturday market and to Muri there was no need to be anywhere else. Perfect spot for a family with kid. Everything is provided in the accommodation including snorkeling gear. Also bonus that the local super store was across the road. Well stocked with loads of GF options and even home cooked meals too. Loved being able to to get cooked cassava and taro. Coffee shop opposite super store had excellent coffee.

Limited good local eating options nearby but fortunate that local store was handy. We didn't have a car so that would make a difference. We prefer firmer beds but are resigned to the fact that softer beds are the norm in this part of the world.

Overall; Over-rated.

Good location, Ideal beach front site,

We were on the bottom apartment & found the noise proofing from the above apartment was totally inadequate. The curtains in the main bedroom were nets & provided absolutely no privacy from beach walkers.

Very relaxing hassle free holiday

Kym and Ricky were great to communicate with and gave us good information about things. You felt like you had you own private beach. It was handy having the kayaks. View was better than imagined. Service people were very helpful and friendly. We saw whales from the balcony. Wigmores just down the road was a handy pick up and drop off area.

Great location, beach access, decor and self contained unit with all your needs. The friendly staff, having sheets changed regularly and fresh towels were awesome. Having the washer and dryer was fabulous also.

The sign for the apartments isn’t easy to see from the road if your trying to find the place. The curtains although nice aren’t private enough I feel, we were watching a movie in our bed and other guest were in the white chairs right outside our room and would occasionally look at us. There needs to be a door stop for the bedroom door, the wind kept collecting it and slamming shut, there probably was one but I didn’t see it. Having to turn the hot water on in unfavourable weather, it was my fault for not reading all the information just skipped through to key points as so much. We still didn’t find the button, grateful for staff for turning it on but we had an early flight on the last day so turning the hot water on 1/2 hr before a 6am departure wasn’t likely so had cold showers again.

Unbelievable location.

Location was unbelievable

Second bedroom didn’t have bedside light switch. My elderly mother had to get up to turn light on and off. Also if you could update wifi info in the apartment. Not everyone is good at reading lots of emails. Confusion over wifi. Purchased hotspot when didn’t need to.

Awesome location away from the crowds

We felt like we had our own private beach able to step out on the sand and in the water with little effort. Plenty of fish to see. Great views from the deck. Clean rooms, large bathroom, kitchenette with fridge/ stovetop so we could self cater when we wanted. Close to Wigmores grocery store for provisions. Close to several restaurants and a takeaway. We had a car for our stay, but close to the bus stop.

We had a fabulous time. The place is paradise.

Amazing location. Beach is the best on the island. Beautiful. The apartment is very comfortable, right on the beach- and the air conditioning and wi-fi were perfect for what we needed. Very handy having Wigmore’s superstore almost across the road. We doubt there would any other apartment on Rarotonga that is better than this.

Stunning location on the beach in the best part of the island for snorkelling etc. Quiet and chilled and lovely well presented and well maintained property

The only recommendation I have is to put a bedside lamp in the second bedroom.

Amazing location

Prime location, walking out less than 10m to water and with own private beach. The snorkelling gear and kayaks provided ensure that the whole family can enjoy the abundance of fish in the crystal clear lagoon. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

10/10 Amazing stay in Rarotonga

Incredibly spacious, impeccably clean and modern, the apartments are well laid out and kitted out with everything you may need. Love how each apartment has their own bbq and kitchen is equipped with all you require to self accomodate. Kayaks and snorkelling gear are also available to swim in what is arguably one of the best spots of beach in all of Rarotonga. We have visited Rarotonga 10+ times and we rarely stay in the same place twice. Without a doubt this is the best property we have ever stayed in, and we will definitely be back. Kym and Ricky were amazing to deal with, and we loved having Wigmores supermarket store across the road. I honestly could not fault anything with these apartments. Simply amazing!

Fantastic property on a gorgeous beach

Fantastic apartment right on gorgeous Vaima beach Facilities were great, extremely comfortable and clean and Kym went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Can't recommend this place enough, the views from the bedroom and lounge are amazing. Close to general store and 2 really great restaurants in walking distance

Quiet & private location with excellent facilities & one of the best snorkeling spots on the island.

Great views & snorkelling at the front door. Very pleased to have loungers, kayaks & our our Weber Bar B Q to use. Our daughter is Vegan & we were delighted to see that Wigmore's (across the road) had a great selection of Plant Based foods available.

Apparently their was a local bus service operating but there were no details that we could readily find out about this. Weren't sure when the apartment was going to be serviced. Seemed to be every 2-3 days (which was great) but we weren't advised very clearly about this at the start.

Superb

Beautiful and clean, obviously very new and kept well. Lovely views and location. Great facilities, ie BBQ and dishwasher, washing facilities etc. Nice and quiet even with neighbour's. Really enjoyed our stay and you have beautiful apartments, would stay again!

Cleaners were lovely, however didn't refill water and when asked told us to do it ourselves. Also we locked ourselves out of safe, took while to remedy, that's fine, but was not reset so we could not use after. Shame about the sand bank out front, again we understand why but was a little disappointing. Didn't appreciate the multiple signs everywhere threatening fines thought it was over the top and not welcoming especially for an expensive apartment. Also the hot water issue was a little frustrating as we did not want to disturb other guests on holiday to press a button, again for the price was a bit cheeky.

Beautiful new apartment on the most perfect and glorious beach.

I loved the location. Right on the most perfect beach on Rarotonga. From the beginning to the end it was easy which is how you want a holiday to be. The room was serviced every 3 days which was perfect timing as we had our privacy but really enjoyed the tidy and clean up every 3 days. The apartment was well located on the island, half way to anywhere really and with the convenience of a food store just up the road. I loved chatting to the person who was managing the apartment, she was friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and super friendly. Loved the patio area with the furniture and BBQ. Lovely space to sit and a nice extension from the lounge. Appreciated the fruit and milk etc. to get us started on arrival. Loved the peace and quiet- we did not even hear any roosters as the sound of the ocean dulled any rooster noise if there was any. It was a lovely, new, well appointed apartment but the star was the location and the glorious beach right at the door step that I would lie in bed and look at every morning. I could have stayed there forever.

There was very little we did not like. But what would have made our stay better was if we had a TV in the master bedroom as well. We moved our bed so we could see the TV from the bedroom but only one person could see it from there. The reason being was bed was far more comfortable than the lounge furniture which all 3 of us found uncomfortable and small. The size was due to a reasonably narrow lounge. The comfort was just due to a 'skinny' couch. I would have loved a couch I could lie down on. I moved some of the outdoor chairs inside in the end as these were more comfortable than some of what was inside. Another improvement would be to put a short (about a metre or so) screen/trellis/plantings or the like for privacy so there is a small division between the 2 downstairs apartments when you are sitting on your patio. But really there is very little to not like. Loved it.

Excellent spot. Make sure you get a car/or scooters to get around though.

Superb spot right on the lagoon

Surprised we had to provide our own toilet paper (two rolls provided for 5 nights 4 guests, and not replenished when the room was serviced).
