Relaxing short break in Keswick.

Just returned from a wonderful 2 days in Keswick. The property was very clean, warm and welcoming and only a 5min walk to the town centre. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed and excellent large walk in shower. The breakfast was outstanding and probably one of the best I’ve had! The hosts were very friendly. Would definitely recommend. The homemade flapjack was a lovely touch! 😊

Parking was limited, but managed to find a space on neighbouring street.

Nice relaxing weekend and virtually no rain👍

The property was great centrally located and staff were great.

The only criticism I have was the shower which had wasn’t the best having said that the rooms on on the 2nd floor so probably a pressure issue, it wouldn’t stop us staying here again though.

Peaceful, comfortable, friendly and will definitely return

This is a family run guesthouse near enough to the centre of town but very peaceful. Rachael, Lesley, Richard and Steve were the perfect hosts. The property is very well kept and beautifully furnished in keeping with the style. The bed was very comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasurable stay.

First class hospitality in one of my favourite places

Great location close to centre of Keswick, on street parking. Room was lovely; comfy, spotlessly clean & home made cake! Loved the breakfast choices too 😆. Friendly, helpful family run.

Superb Guest House, Welcoming hosts, Great location!

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Dalkeith Guest House! It was immaculate, throughout. The room was spacious, bright and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable. The home baked treats left in our room were well appreciated and delicious, thank you! Breakfast was superb, with a great choice. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming! The location was quiet but still close to walks, shops, cafes etc. We visit Keswick regularly and this is definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Would recommend this small B & B. It is in a great position, good comfortable rooms, great food and a lovely host.

Great guesthouse, great location, great hosts

Beautiful guesthouse in a great quiet location in Keswick - so easy to walk to restaurants, shops etc as well as the start of a number of walks. The guesthouse is very clean, the breakfast options are varied, delicious and nicely presented. The owners were friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they suggested some great walks for us to try. We would definitely stay here again.

A very minor point, the single beds were a bit narrower than a normal single bed.

Amazing Guest House with exceptional breakfast and the friendliest of owners.

The owners of the guest house could not have been anymore welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was magnificent.

I feel that everything was 100% and there is no room for improvement.

A great find and we were sorry to leave

Exceptional bed and breakfast in a quiet residential location 5 minutes walk from the market square in Keswick. Spotlessly clean, delicious breakfasts and delightful hosts. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms had blackout blinds and fans - it was very hot when we were there - and we both slept very well.

Superb breakfast, with a great range of choice. Immaculately clean throughout. Lovely hosts, who even left me some homemade cake each evening. And I was delighted that the single room was en suite, I didn't think that was going to be the case from the Booking.com description

I would not hesitate to return here. Delicious breakfast. Exceptionally clean and great location.

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. The location was excellent very close to the centre of Keswick with restaurants, pubs etc within 5 minutes walk. But also in an extremely quiet street.

Best Guest House in Keswick

Amazing hosts in Dalkeith Guest House. Really kind and nice people. They make a superb breakfast which we really enjoyed. Room and facilities are great with a lot of attention to detailed and clean. You should definitely stay here if you visit Keswick.

The best BnB ever stay

Highly recommended, lovely family run BnB. I was traveling on my own, but they make me feel very welcomed. Great location only 5 minutes walk to Keswick city center. The BnB and the rooms are very clean A*. English Breakfast is delicious. Professional and excellent service. I stayed 4 nights but wish I'd stayed longer. I will definitely book again.
