Great little place. Very homey and comfortable. Lovely and quiet. Would definitely recommend and definitely visit again. Close to beach and coastal path. We came with our young grandchildren and loved that it didnt have kids clubs, entertainment or bars. It's close to everything you need to exhaust them and evenings spent with good old fashioned family time. Absolutely loved our time here.
Loved it all

It is quiet. It had games for the boys to play with. You can park just right in front.
We had to take our own linen. There were some ants in the living room carpet.

Location was lovely and the shalet was very nice and homely
Only problem we had was the bathroom sink where we couldn’t get any hot water through, shower and kitchen sink no problem.

amazing, nice heating and a great kitchen
nothing!

everything we needed and not far from the bus stop
the mattresses on the bunk bed were very thin and I got hardly any sleep at all had to sleep in the double with my teenage son.
parking was a bit annoying luckily nobody was next door so could turn around in their parking

Very good location closebfrom the ferry terminal.

The chalet was clean and welcoming, and the instructions received from the owner were clear and helpful. The welcome tray was appreciated and we had a lovely stay all in all. A great location to explore the island from and I very much hope to return. I am quite heavily disabled so was pleased to have parking right outside the chalet and a good sized walk-in shower. People with more mobility than I could easily walk to the beach (one of the best in Europe for finding fossils), Wildheart big cat sanctuary, dinosaur museum and Sandown itself from the holiday village. There is a good selection of games provided to keep adults and children entertained.
The only issue was the key is quite fiddly to lock and unlock the chalet - it’s just a case (as with many locks) of getting the knack of it. Don’t panic and assume you’re locked out if it doesn’t work first time! I didn’t contact Liz about this so haven’t marked it down at all for it but just bear it in mind if you stay here.

Good location, quiet yet close to the beach and local restaurants
Wifi, bedroom light. Ban on smoking directly outside chalet, we had to endure heavy smokers next door who sat outside smoking from morning untill night!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Sandy Bottom. The property was clean and ideal for our small family of 5. The location was really close to the beach with beautiful views. We would have loved to stay here again next year but fully booked for our week. Highly recommended.

The chalet was lovely and cosy. A perfect holiday home for a small family. It was very clean and would highly recommend it to other families.
The chalet is close to the beach and town and in a lovely holiday park which was quiet and friendly.
Would book again if I go again.
Only thing that I would say there was no internet but had good section of dvds and had a TV.

Walking distance to Dinosaur Isle. Safe outdoor space for the kids to play
Accommodation had fleas so spent all the time itching, especially when in the master bed, sat on the sofa or stood barefoot on the rugs. Toilet took an age to flush, even much longer if toilet roll was put down it. Ants nest under the sofa.

quiet, clean.
cold at night.

It was really good value for money, communication with the owner was prompt and helpful, the location was great, especially for dog walking, and the chalet was well and thoughtfully equipped. I have to admit I was a little worried about being cold given the time of year, but we were very cosy and comfortable, the heaters are very effective. Was generally delighted to find out how dog friendly the Isle of Wight is too.
Be aware that there’s very little phone signal in the area, nothing within the control of the owner though! Second bedroom is fine for kids, a little bit small for an adult although still perfectly usable.

Really lovely, clean accommodation with comfy beds and good pillows. Everything you could need in the kitchen, even a washing machine! Absolutely made my day when I opened the fridge and there was a pint of milk left for us, and a very thoughtful set of basic supplies (tea, coffee, sugar etc). After a 3.30am start I really needed that cup of tea! Lovely powerful shower, in a nice bathroom with not a single bit of black mold in sight. There was a really useful set of leaflets and brochures available to use to plan days out, and a selection of books, board games and dvds to use. Well situated with just a short walk down to the beach. All in all I could not have been happier with this accommodation.

Everything we needed. Well decorated, furnished and lovely little touches like a welcome basket. Great shower and a little place to sit outside. Unpretentious but very comfortable. Great location and would definitely recommend.
Would be better few facilities on site and needed something to keep the insects away.

Hosts were very prompt with responses and helpful when we needed help. Property was clean, close to the beach. Liked small touches like covid related care, welcome drink etc.
No WiFi. You can pay additionally for this at neighbouring chalet but it is very slow. Skype calls were very difficult. To be fair, they do say in advance it is slow.
4.5
The chalet was clean and well equipped. Perfect base for our week away.
Could do with some more parking as had to park quite away from chalet at times.
4.5
Lovely, clean chalet. Welcome basket - great idea. Perfect location. Great area for dogs, plenty of beautiful walks around. Pub 20-30 min walk. Would stay there again.
Bathrooms towels were not included, we were little surprised. No wifi, since mobile network very patchy, could be a problem for some. Hair dryer would be a nice addition, unless it was there and we couldn't find it. Otherwise all very good.
4.5
Everything comfortable and amazing service as usual
Bed sofa not made for heavy people
