This cabin was exactly what my family was looking for in our four day stay. It’s updated where it needs to be and rustic where it should be. The view of the lake was beautiful and there was plenty of things to do on property. We didn’t have time to use it all. Small touches like multi-port charging docks and drink holders next to the Adirondack chairs by the water were a nice touch.
Many memories made and pics taken. Highly recommend.

Just returned from a recent stay here and it was great. It is central to all the things in the area. Also close to a grocery store, gas station and Dollar Store! We were a bit disappointed with the low level of the lake. We knew it was going to be low but not quite this low. The inside of the house was good. A bit dated but we enjoyed the cabin feel. Hot tub was great. Fire pit was great. It had all the amenities we needed. We would love to come again when the lake level is up to normal!

The cabin was nice but needs some work. No darts, foosball table was rickety. The hot tub took a whole day to get warm and burned me and my husband on the arm the one time we got to use it. I guess there's an exposed heating element in one is the seats. The upstairs loft would be better for small children rather than teenagers because of the small beds. The lake was dry. We were hoping to fish while we were there but no luck. Overall the cabin was fine but probably won't rent again

The description of the cabin was slightly off, and the amenities were not very nice. The cabin was not well cleaned (beds, bathrooms, living space). The outside area was nice, however.

Very clean, peaceful place to stay. My kids loved the upstairs sleeping quarters with the games. Hot tub was a wonderful perk for our fall trip. The fire pit by the water was perfect for s'mores.

This beautiful house is at the end of what I call a finger of Douglas Lake. It is quiet and the view is breathtaking. We enjoyed the views from the lakefront, the hot tub deck and the wraparound porch. The house was supplied with everything we needed for our family. Some examples are a kitchen with every appliance and gadget you would need, a very efficient washer/ dryer, board games, puzzles, videos, and floats for the lake. This was the perfect place to spend with our 2 daughters and our 5 grandkids ages 13-3. There was something for everyone to do. We especially enjoyed an evening by the fire pit watching the fireflies. Being from Florida we don’t get to see those. The location is perfect because you have the quiet and serenity of the lake but you are within an easy 30 to 45 minute drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Sevierville also has grocery and fast food places that are at the most 15-20 minutes away. We considered it the best of both worlds. The owners of this property are great. Even before we arrived, they helped with our vacation plans. While there, we needed help with hot tub. I called the owner in the evening and by the next day it was fixed. We hoped to vacation here again. I highly recommend this property.

This house was amazing and a pleasure to stay in. Everything from beginning to end was flawless. The house was clean and had everything you could need including dishes, silverware and basic cookware. The outside was nicely done with outside eating space and lights for the evening to just hang out. The fire pit and chairs down by the lake were great and it’s easy enough to just walk out into the water and swim. The location was very reasonable to be able to get to pigeon forge and gatlinburg within a 20 to 30 minute drive. We would definitely go back to this house again.

Spacious cabin with cozy vibes. Peaceful area not far from all the sites to see. We were hoping to fish and did not know this time of year the lake is drained. Looked like the perfect spot in the summer. Wish I knew that before booking though. Still Gorgeous views and loved the wrap around deck.

The place Lake and property was beautiful but the inside wasn’t clean and the refrigerator and freezer didn’t work and we lost all of our food. There was a repair man supposed to come to fix it while we was on vacation we stayed there waiting for over an hour for them to show up. No show we wasn’t there to set and wait for a repair man we only had 3 days of vacation it should have been fixed before we got there. And on our departure that morning there was no water so we couldn’t take a shower that morning. My husband told the person taking care of the property and owner and all they said was they was sorry. No refund on our food or cleaning. If everything is in working condition it would be a wonderful place to stay
Thank you

Everything was as expected for the most part staying at this cabin. Didn’t expect such winding roads to get through neighborhood to get to the property but I gather that’s how all mountain home conditions are. Cabin was clean and all amenities, except ice trays were available for use. Loved how reasonably close the cabin was to all the activities we wanted to do throughout the week.

Our family loved this little cabin in the woods! Although it took a little bit to get to our cabin when coming to and from the surrounding towns, once there, we were as comfortable as could be! Beautiful, clean cabin that thought of all the little details. Water was down when we were there and high winds made for some of our plans to be canceled. But so much to do that we made great memories in other ways. Rental company and owners were excellent to work with!

Rented the property on VRBO. My family was looking for a cabin that offered something different than our normal Gatlinburg stay in the mountains. When we found out this was lake front and the boys could fish it was great. The property manager Kim was truly awesome and so helpful during our stay. The cabin was beautiful and the owners payed special attention to detail.
The only downside was the water level in the lake as it was flood controlled. The owner did make us aware of this; however it was much lower than expected. The loft area was great for children but airflow to that area was tough as it was typically hot in that space.

This property was very clean but I would make a few recommendations for an optimal vacation spot. There is no dining room table to sit at and our family does like to play games so that was difficult. A dock added to the property for easy boat access would be a wonderful addition

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake and the location was great! Even though there is no dock, we were still able to swim by the house which it is great for as the activity is minimal back there.

Our families really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We had a relaxing week and many nights around the fire ring next to the lake. There is no dock but we were able to tie off our boat at this property with no problem. The cabin has a great view of the water. The Inside of the cabin was very nice, neat and clean. The kitchen was sufficient however the pots and pans could be updated. The only complaint I have would be the grill. It’s in rough shape. We are the type of people who love to grill dinners nightly.
We booked this house through Evolve and it could not have been easier. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we plan on coming back in the future.

Enjoyed it
We really enjoyed our vacation in the rental. It’s a good area and right on the lake. It’s close to a food city and within 30 mins of most of the shopping and restaurants. The only gripe we had was the lack of cleanliness in the cabin. The silverware was all dirty, one knife was covered in peanut butter and the plates and bowls were grimy. We literally hand washed everything ourselves before use. And the floors and under stuff looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks. That was a it off putting after paying so much for a vacation rental

Nice place - wouldnt stay again
The home was very nice for the 7 of us staying there. Only complaint for the home was how hot the loft area got where the kids slept. No matter how high the air conditioning was, it never cooled down up there. Biggest disappointment of the place was the lack of access into the water. There is no floating dock - just a wooden board which was treacherous to go down. Another disappointment was that in the listing it stated there was a canoe for us to use - which there wasnt. There was a kayak but we didnt have access to that. I called the property manager to discuss the above. She said she would look into it but never got back to us.

Awesome View
The first impression of the cabin pulling up was everything we could imagine, beautiful view right on the lake. The only dissatisfying point was the temperature in the upstairs loft. There weren’t any vents and it was 90+ degrees outside. It got a little toasty up there where 4 beds are. Otherwise we had a great time here.

Beautiful but....
This location is amazing, the view is great, the lakefront area was awesome. The amenities listed a kayak and canoe, which was a main reason we decided to book this property, they were locked up and after 3 emails and a text message we never heard from anyone. We ended up purchasing our own, since this was the main reason for this property and didnt want anyone to be disappointed . There were also no cleaning supplies, no mop ,only 2 kitchen towels, we purchased a blender. The loft area didn’t have air conditioning, which was not listed, so I felt super bad for the one person who stayed up there, we promised her a master room at our next vacation to make up for it...I now have kayaks, extra cleaning supplies, and a blender so I guess we had a great vacation! Just know those kayaks and canoes are not an amenity and I still haven’t heard from the guest service person.

New cleaning crew
When we got to the cabin it was a mess. We contacted the owners and they were horrified. They had just started using a new cleaning crew and the new crew didn’t show up. The owners were very nice and had someone come out immediately and clean. The cleaning crew that came out promised I would get my cleaning deposit back and 100 dollars for the mix up. I did get my deposit back but never saw the 100 dollars. Other than the cabin being a mess when we got there it was excellent. I feel like this was a first time it hadn’t been clean and ready for guests from the reaction of the owners who were very accommodating. Exactly as described. In a nice quiet location I would definitely recommend

We loved it
Our family of 7 loved the property and we plan on making this a yearly tradition.
