This apartment was an ideal base for our London visit. The check-in process was seamless, location was super convenient and it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
It was spotlessly clean and Dahlia was on hand if we needed anything and was a super responsive host!
The only thing we found slightly difficult was the fact there was a heatwave in London the week we stayed so the apartment was quite stuffy. However there were fans provided so we managed ok.
Thoroughly recommend this apartment!

The flat was exactly as we expected, very clean and wonderfully close to the tube and shops.
It is on a busy road but is not noisy.
It was very warm (we stayed during a rare warm spell in Lindon!) but the flat has fans which worked well.
Strongly recommended!

Dahlia is an incredibly helpful, very communicative host. She initiated communication when she discovered from a previous guest something would need a repair and asked how I would like her to handle it, which was very courteous to my stay.
And the flat itself is modern and very comfortable. It is in a great location; it’s a bustling and vibrant neighborhood, with shops, restaurants, and pubs very close at hand, and the tube station less than a block away (the bus stop is literally outside the front door). The building itself was surprisingly quiet for being on a main road (but it is still a city flat, there is low-level noise).
Check-in and check-out does require walking to a shop 4-5 blocks away to pick up and drop off keys, which if like me you are solo with luggage is mildly cumbersome. But please don’t let a 10 minute walk deter you from this flat; I was so pleased with my choice to stay here.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in London. The key handover process was seamless, and the apartment was exactly as described in the listing. It is beautifully designed and well laid out, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
The communication with the qwner was always excellent - prompt, efficient, and helpful. She provided us with great tips and advice, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The surrounding area offering a variety of dining options with numerous local restaurants, bars and cafes. For those who prefer self-catering, there are plenty of shops nearby to buy groceries and essentials.
The transportation links are perfect, making it incredibly easy to reach the apartment from the airport. Getting into the heart of London was also a breeze, thanks to the excellent connections.
Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation. The owner is friendly, accommodating, and always ready to assist. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to London.

I stayed at this location for a few weeks and it was super convenient. Great wifi, and overall great location!

We stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks and just loved the place. My wife and I travel a lot and usually get apartments. Dahlia was an excellent host and our stay was everything we hoped for. The Stepney Green tube is less than a block from the apartment and the bus stops, literally, in front of the apartment.
The apartment is located in the middle of the urban Queen Mary University. Lots of backpacks, restaurants, shops and young students. We felt very safe and had a great variety of food choices, both restaurants and stores.
The apartment was clean and had the usual wifi, tv etc. The wifi worked great as did the tv. The kitchen was a full kitchen with dish washer, refrigerator, washer/dryer, stove, coffee pot etc. Everything worked. The bedroom had closet space and the matress was comfortable but a bit low to the ground.
This is an apartment, not a studio. The bedroom is separate and the door closes. The living room, dining and kitchen are one big room.
There is no elevator, but the apartment is only one level up. We are in our 70's and had no problem getting up and down the stairs.
There was some outside (student) chatter on the weekend but we didn't mind it.
Location. Great public transportation is close by but if you want to go for a walk it's a great location. We spent an afternoon walking to a nearby canal and walked along the canal to the Thames and back a couple of hours.
5 star apartment.

This flat was in a great location for exploring London. It was very close to the Stepney Green metro and close to supermarkets and restaurants. This very clean and up-to-date one bedroom flat included a very well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. It was so nice to have a comfortable area to relax in after a busy day of sightseeing.
Dahlia was very responsive when we had questions. It would also be helpful to have some instructions on site about check out procedures or suggestions for close by restaurants or shopping. As the listing mentioned, there is an issue with road noise, especially when the windows are open.

My wife & I stayed here for a week in early-middle July, and used it as our base for exploring London and the South of England. This is a great location, about 2 minutes from the Stepney Green Underground station and there's a bus stop right in front of the flat. There’re 2 grocery stores and 3 ATMs nearby.
The building is secure, requiring an RFID fob to get in. The door to the flat takes a key to open and is spring loaded and closes automatically -- make sure you've got the keys if you're walking out! :) Key/fob pickup is in City Supermarket ~7 minutes down the road, so plan on making that walk upon arrival, otherwise you won’t get into the building. Dahlia will give you the key code and address for pick-up/drop-off.
The flat is up the stairs to the 1st floor and there's no elevator. There's no air conditioning in the flat, so consider that if you come during the summertime. The stove vent fan can be used to pull in cool outside air through the windows. As the owner states, you're "on a main road so you will be able to hear the hustle and bustle of London" -- especially if you have the windows open. :)
The flat is modern, clean and comfortable, with new appliances, LED lighting, Wi-Fi, plush bath towels, and a clothes washer/dryer all-in-one unit. The double bed was comfortable, and I had no trouble sleeping on it.
Dahlia, our host, was very nice, and easy to communicate with via Whatsapp or VRBO’s site.

The property is a walk up on the 2nd floor. The apartment is very clean and many items appear relatively new and redone. The location is a 2 minute walk to the Stepny Green Underground station which was so very convenient.
There is no AC and no elevator. So it's not going to be an ideal location for anyone with physical limitations or who can't walk up stairs or doesn't want to carry luggage up a flight of stairs.
You will also have to stop at a local convenience store to pick up the key and drop it off. Dalia will send you a code to give to the person at the market. This is a short drive, so it's an additional Uber stop, if you're taking that service. It's a 7 minute walk, so not the most convenient feature.
The owner, Dalia, was very good to communicate with and very helpful. There are some good places to eat and a CO-OP convenience store close by where you can pick up groceries, coffee and other items.
College down the street along with hospital. So lots of activity at night and lots of sirens.
This is a good location and good value as opposed to staying in central London.

The apartment is very spacious and very good equiped with you all you need whilst you stay. And it was very clean. During our visit it was very hot in London but there were 3 fans as well.
It is very good located with bus and tube really close nearby. A Coop and Sainsbury local for your daily needs are in direct neighborhood - and places to eat and drink too.
Dahlia is a perfect host and very helpful. She sends her reply moments after sending a question or telling a problem.
We had a pleasant stay and enjoed being in London (esp. East London) once again. And for sure we will come back :-)
Note: the Mile End Road is directly in front and it is a busy road during daytime. Bit this was no problem for us.

It was a cozy, clean and comfortable place to stay. It was close to the tube and grocery. Having laundry available was so helpful! The owner was wonderful to be in contact with us and answer any questions.
4.7
Wonderful modern flat with everything you need for a comfy stay. Perfect for a single or couple. I stayed here 3 weeks and it felt like home! Great location with quick access to central London and everything you could possibly need with shops and food options all very close. Dahlia was very responsive and helpful. Will stay here again on my next London visit.

My first time in, London was magical!
Dahlia was extremely friendly, easy to deal with, and if we needed anything at all, she was responsive, almost instantly.
The apartment itself, was clean, modern comfortable, and maybe a two minute walk to Stephanie Green Station, which got us to places like Piccadilly and Leicester in about 15 minutes.
The place is surrounded by pubs, which are filled with friendly people out for a good time, they are all extremely welcoming. We even made friends with a group of people living in one of the apartments upstairs. Not to mention… It was also on top of a burger shop which was plus…
If you have the chance to book this place for your trip do it!
Dahlia, thank you again for everything, I know I’ll be back!
Cheers,
James

Our stay in this property was wonderful! The flat is mere meters from the tube stop for multiple lines so getting anywhere and everywhere was incredibly easy. The flat itself was quiet and clean and so comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. There are myriad grocers, shops, and restaurants just below on the same block and the next. An open air market down the street was also very accessible as was Brick Lane if you have a 30 minute walk in you. Dahlia was more responsive and kind than almost any property manager/owner I’ve ever worked with. We had such a fantastic time staying here and would stay again in a heartbeat. Bethnal Green may not be a traditional tourist hangout but we loved it all the more for that and this flat will make your time in London restful, unique, and overall lovely.

Property was double booked and our money was refunded.

Perfect flat for two. It’s a very cute space and would absolutely stay here again! Dahlia was incredibly kind and answered every question we had immediately, no matter how late or early it was. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay Dahlia! Would recommend to anyone!

Location and host are the plus point for our stay. The host is quick to respond to our requests and needs. The flat is warm & cosy, clean & equip with all the necessities.
Public transports are readily available at our doorstep, the community is pleasant & almost all amenities are within reach.

We are locals who took this flat while building work was being done on our house. So we already know this is a fantastic area and very close to the centre of London. Stepney Green station is minutes away. The CoOp and Sainsbury’s are just as close. There are lots of places to eat, including the Rama Thai about 7 minutes away. The flat is immaculately clean and well presented. We spent hours sitting in the spacious sitting room and cooking in the very well-appointed fitted kitchen. Dahlia, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive at every step, especially when we needed to extend our stay at short notice. We’d stay again if the same circumstances arose. Strongly recommended.

Dahlia was very responsive ahead of check in and throughout my stay. Property was just as advertised, clean and spacious. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment. It was also a really great touch to have the little things provided like towels, tissues, extra pillows. Location is great - proximity to supermarkets, bus stops, and tube stations (along two lines). Only downside is picking up the keys a few blocks down so plan for that if you have luggage.

Dissertation Researcher Staying in London
I booked a two-week stay while I was in London doing research. The flat was an ideal stay. Located very close to public transit, grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer was also a plus. Dahlia was very communicative and helpful, and I would definitely return.

Read review for check-in
Upon arriving to the property, we were not provided any check-in information via app or email. We messaged the host through the app, called her and text her but she didn’t respond. After 30 minutes of waiting we got a text back with check in instructions. We then had to walk 5 minutes down the road with all of our luggage to pick up the keys from a super market. Once keys were obtained figuring out which one to use was the last challenge. The keychain had 9 keys and 3 fobs on it which made it a pain to carry around and figure out which one to get into the apartment. The apartment itself is nice and tidy. The only issue with the apartment itself was the broken bed frame (supporting beams in middle were broken) and the bed itself felt very springy. After the chaos of the first day everything was fine. Check out does require you to drop the keys off at the super market so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to walk them back.
