It had everything we hoped for. It was a perfect location and beautiful well equipped cottage.
Nothing !

Very comfortable cottage, lovely outside area for sitting out. High standard of cleanliness
Excellent location for everything in Seahouses but away from the main part of the street so quiet
Owner was very helpful when I contacted him about arrival and departure times
This is going to sound very picky:
Mirror in one bedroom was above chest of drawers and too high to be any use
There was tea and coffee but no sugar
4.3
lovely location - thoughtful leaving flowers and chocolates - clean, comfy beds
very tight garage turning circle for a larger family car

Location was brilliant
The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Dirty boxer shorts under the bed. Skirting boards window cills needed a deep clean. Back bedroom ceiling peeling off hadn’t been swept up. Bathroom floor wasn’t clean. Bedding and towels were brilliant.

Most things
TV not tuning in in the lounge, couldn't get dishwasher working

Lovely modern decor comfy beds and home comforts. Good location near everything .
Nice welcome pack
Some areas in the house which needed a touch up some slight scuffs/marks

The Shower temperature was very difficult to set. No ensuite bedrooms.

Beautifully decorated, and felt like a real home from home. Brilliant location, a stones throw from the shops and the beach. everything you could want and more in a rental, and some lovely touches, like the welcome hamper, parking space and little sun trap garden! will be back again
4.3
very convenient location and parking. lack of saucepans and limited cooking equipment but staff were responsive to help.
looks much bigger in photos. lack of kitchen stuff

We loved the location of this property. It was decorated to a high standard with thoughtful extras to welcome us. It was clean and had good quality bedding and towels. The seating area outside was a real bonus as was having a washer/ dryer in the property.
We had requested a travel cot for our one year old. This was in the spare room when we arrived. Once assembled we realised the mattress provided wasn’t the right size which meant uncomfortable nights for our baby during our stay. The window in the main bedroom doesn’t stay open without wedging something in it which we were reluctant to do. We stayed at the property during a heatwave so this was an issue for us.

good location with parking. modern well equipped kitchen. outside seating area. nicely decorated. wifi and Netflix.

Lovely self catering property. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Freshly decorated to a high standard.
Access to the parking area was very difficult when neighbours cars were parked.
Back door lock was very sticky from the inside in the mornings.
4.3
Lovely house in an excellent location for facilities.
only drawback was nearest grass for exercising dog was over 300 yards away. Only an issue if your dog needs out in the middle of the night.
4.3
Lovely refurbishment of property with stylish design and lovely wood burning stove which we enjoyed.
Shower a bit poor, poor pressure, not such a big deal but hard to get conditioner out of my hair! Induction hob very tricky to use even though I have one at home. Some of the pans didn’t work and it took ages and a bit of stress to get our full English breakfast going! Otherwise everything clean and practical and well thought out.

The decor was fantastic, the mattresses very comfortable and the bathroom great. The kitchen was well-stocked with excellent knives [always a plus in self catering]. Also excellent wi-fi [athough instructions a bit out of date in the info sheet]
We had problems with almost all the locks, the rear door one from inside, the front yale lock from outside. It took an amazing amount of force to get the Yale in [so much my wife couldn't manage] It was very easy to unlock the back door but very difficult to lock it from the inside. The handle on the downstairs toilet traps your hand when you close the door.
Also the front room set up, although the best use of space makes it very difficult to watch the TV. We had to re-arrange the furniture and then put it back at the end of our stay

The location - right on the high street - and facilities - nice kitchen/bathrooms/towels etc. The house was nicely decorated too and very clean, so it felt quite swish and nice to be in. We could tell it had been thought about, which was a nice touch. We've been to Seahouses many times so know the area well and the house certainly gave you access to all it has to offer. :)
Don't really like doing this bit but... Although the house itself was really ace and we'd return! It was very cold (brrr!). It is an old stone cottage, so, it's never going to be roasting... and we live in an old house, so, are used to the cold, but it was freezing and it was hard to keep warm and use the front room as it was soooo cold. Obviously this is not a problem at all for summer guests - we arrived just after storm Arwen! Also, and this is purely an individual thing, so it will be fine for others the bed was very soft - so not good if you have a bad back (like me unfortunately). The bedding etc was lovely though. One last thing... parking was a bit tight. We were they during a quiet time of the year and I imagine this could be a pain in the summer and if people are using their car a lot, especially if they have a big car/4x4. The neighbour came out when we arrived to guide us in. opps! We are really not fussy guests at all - but these were things we thought would be troublesome for some guests - so hopefully constructive :)

A really lovely cottage, with home from home luxuries. A great base for exploring the Northumberland coast.

Fantastic location with off road parking at rear of property . In the heart of Seahouses . Every bit of detail has been thought of in this luxury house . Prosecco on arrival was a really nice touch . Warm cosy and nice seating area at back of house too perfect for when the sun is shining. We will certainly be booking again .
