Property was self catering however everything we needed to prepare breakfast
Heating was on quite high through the night however that's a matter of what you are use too

Beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Comfortable stay as usual
As pensioners we find the settees very low, hard to get up! But comfortable

Great cottage in very central location
Very steep steps to top bed room

The location was fantastic, the property was comfortable and was well stocked with kitchenware. Towels were nice and it was really easy to get the key.
Some of the decor was a little tired and could do with sprucing up. There was some mould around the sealant in the bathroom that could do with treating.

Perfect location
No outside space but not a problem as only a minute to sit by the river

Close proximity to parking, property was in the town so perfect location for all local amenities.
Steep staircase to loft extension bedroom

Location and facilities
Double bed mate was a little uncomfortable. The stairs to the loft room were way too steep.

Location
The sofas could do with replacing and there was no hairdryer. I was slightly concerned about the safety of the attic room too as there was no fire door or means of escape, such as escape ladder for the window.

Great location near the river, shops and restaurants. The small kitchen is really well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean. A cosy place to relax after days exploring the area. Nice views from the front bedrooms.
The town is packed on a sunny weekend so hang on to your parking space if you can.
A cafetière or coffee maker would be handy.

Location perfect ,Pubs cafe shopping river. Bed comfortable. Attic room amazing.
Clean , well presented. Cosy .on street parking. If full car park opposite if necessary.
Handy for Horsehoe Pass and Aquaduct.
Full length mirror in bedroom.

Great location for the town for shops, cafes, and places to eat out. Nice little quiet street. Was lucky with parking but two pay parking sites very close by. Used as a base as attending a family wedding in a near by Hall so was perfect for us. Kitchen fully fitted with dishwasher, fridge, kettle, toaster, hob and oven if self catering but we ate out. Double bedroom excellent, comfortable bed, spacious and great view of River Dee. Single bedroom fine. Bedding and towels provided. Would stay again.
The sofas are very low so uncomfortable if you have a disability with back or knees getting up and down, there are fold up chairs there which was a bonus. Living room Paint work a little tied, could do with a freshening up. Attic stairs are very steep! You need to be very cautious going up and down them, this is the twin room, but good spacious room. But would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent, comfy beds, good shower
Difficult to find parking mid day.

Location was excellent. Parking turned out to be much easier than expected. Bijou but comfortable. Provided an ideal base for a short visit (2 nights).

Loved the location right in the centre of town. The property was compact but very cosy and clean. Views from the bedroom windows were great. All the locals were very friendly, we had a great tapas meal in the tavern round the corner on the first evening; very good value. There were plenty of nice walks to go on - I would recommend a walk along the canal tow path to Horse Shoe Falls followed by coffee in the Chain Hotel.
Key safe was a bit tricky to open. The sofas in the living room were very spongy and lacking support for those of us with dodgy backs.

Excellent location, very close to the river Dee. The master bedroom was a particularly lovely room with a fab view of the hills and castle. A large and comfortable room, it had a rocking chair, two-sofa and a roomy comfortable bed. Nice shower too.
The lounge is quite small so there is not a lot of room for the table to be set out to eat.

Location was great, the place was clean and well kept, plenty of kitchen utensils and fixtures.
The place was warm and heating worked really well.
Beautiful views from the main bedroom.
The stairs is quite steep, especially to the upper floor. we recommend making sure that’s clear in the advert.
The cables from the tv are a mess and ruin the aesthetic of the property.
The shower hose didn’t appear to be well fitted, then waterfall shower head was great, but the smaller shower head kept falling down and unable to adjust the height of it.
It would be great if cooking oil could be provided.
I messaged the owner on the day of check out but never received a reply, hope he is ok.

Great cottage in a fabulous location.
We were travelling to do watersports on the River Dee and Whitewater Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nice warm house; a great hot shower (needed after a day paddling on the river); comfy beds and facilities to make it easy to get clothes dry.
The location is close to all the restaurants and bars. We couldn't have picked a better cottage :-)
