Steps from Stanford, perfect for an executive +1 for a short or long-term stay. Newer built a single home located in the heart of Silicon Valley. 5 min walk to California Ave (Palo Alto's second downtown), 15 min to Caltrain station, 20 min. walk to downtown Palo Alto. Fully furnished, 3 queen beds, sleeps 6, plus baby crib and high chair, high-speed wifi, in-unit washer/dryer, love seat, Netflix, and a well-appointed kitchen. Close to everything: California Ave, Stanford, man large SV companies (Apple, FB, Goog), and Sandhill Road.

This charming home is located in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe and secure. We easily traveled from the house to Stanford via Lyft daily. There is a great grocery store that serves delicious Middle Eastern food and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a lovely library that is close by.
There was plenty of space for our family of four. We were quite comfortable. Figuring out how to run hot water from the bathroom sink took some time and the low pressure took some getting use to, but we eventually worked it out.
We would recommend this house to friends and family looking for a home that is close to Stanford.

The house is in a great location. Nice neighborhood and close to everything. It was clean and well equipped. It is an older home but well maintained. The host was very responsive and overall it was a great VRBO experience.

We had everything we needed in this cute older home right near campus. We cooked often and appreciated the spices and cookware available. Lots of windows so the house cooled down quickly at night. Neighborhood is super quiet despite being close to many things. We walked to California Ave restaurants and rode bikes to campus. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great location, excellent host, very clean. Perfect for what we needed. Would have been even better with a dishwasher and bbq. Property is a bit dated.

A small, cozy house that's in a great neighborhood and is perfect for a family with parents and two kids. When we had a problem with the shower Danielle responded quickly until it was resolved.

Really enjoyed our stay to help our daughter move in to campus. Super convenient location and wonderful neighborhood just blocks off campus. Home was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Host was extremely kind and responsive to any issue. Wpuld definitely stay again.

Great neighborhood
This is a cute well kept older home. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure. The water took awhile to heat up but stayed hot long enough for 2 people to shower. The kitchen has full size appliances in good shape.

The house was great. It is located right next to the Stanford campus, in a pretty and quiet neighborhood. The house was very clean, and everything worked perfectly. Wifi is very good, and everything is clearly marked. Would definitely recommend this house to anybody traveling to Palo Alto / Stanford.

The location was ideal. It was so fun to walk the neighborhood and see all the different quirky and lovely homes. The house took me back to my Palo Alto childhood in the 50's complete with built-in ironing board! The host was very responsive and helpful.

My husband, two adult daughters and one daughter's significant other stayed at this home. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. The house is small but very tidy and well kept -- fresh sheets and towels greeted us, along with a queen-sized bed in each of the three bedrooms. We appreciated little amenities like some games for the family to play and a selection of herbal teas in the cupboard. We needed to contact the property manager in advance about a couple of details, and Dani always replied quickly and courteously. We would stay here again in the future!

Totally fine house
The location is excellent -- nice neighborhood, can walk to all the restaurants on California Street and also over to Stanford campus. It's an old house so do be aware that the water takes a while to get warm, the cupboards are clunky, there is no dishwasher, and no central heating. (Heating is not an issue for most months of the year, just December and January.) Furniture is comfortable and the whole house is bright, clean, and very well maintained. TV and wifi access is perfect. Owners are super friendly, easy to reach, and accommodating. A very good option for the Palo Alto area.

We are very happy with our stay! We was comfortable and relaxing. There was even enough space in the private driveway for our 16’ travel trailer and truck!

Very Comfortable home
Equipped with all you’ll need to order in or make a meal. Common space was comfortable for us to have dinner at the table that seats 6 or relax in the living room. Host was great with communication and support; we stayed for 5 weeks and will return a couple more times for visits before our family graduates from Stanford. Great location too!
