We have been staying at the Indies House for over 40 years. The renovations to this unit are fabulous, especially the master bath. The unit is located near the stairwell which was quicker than the elevator. The owners were very acommadating

We loved the location and pool. The condo was well appointed had everything you need. Great view! Laundry is on 1st floor and you have to download an app to use, no coins needed. The only negative and its minor was the sofas are very broke down and made it uncomfortable to watch a movie in the evening. The maintenance man at the property was very helpful too.

Quiet and well-located within the city of ormand beach. No loud parties and noise. Restful and relaxing. Beach was never crowded. Convenient with grocery across street. Easy access to the pool and beach with minimum stairs. Elevator and luggage cart available by the entrance.

We had an amazing time. Very nice property right on the ocean. Great views of the sunrise. Clean and well stocked with bedding and towels. Dishes ect. We loved it and had amazing weather as a bonus

So glad we booked this property! Right on the beach with amazing views. Comfortable bed, great internet service with smart TVs, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen (with spices and everything,) beautifully decorated, designated parking, laundry on-site, safe neighborhood. We enjoyed Southern food at the Rose Villa and exploring the scenic loop drive. This was the last leg of our trip to Florida and this rental helped things end on a high note!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and in a great location, with a grocery store and local restaurants nearby. The owners were helpful and made sure we could access the property and didn’t have any questions. The two bedrooms / two baths / three beds was the perfect setup for our family. We enjoyed the balcony with a direct view to ocean and the heated pool. The building laundry facilities were easy to use, clean, and convenient by the pool. We’d stay here again!!

We absolutely loved this condo! The pictures online don’t do it justice, it is beautiful and spacious…I’ve never seen such a huge bedroom in a 2 bedroom condo! We had everything we needed in the kitchen and tons of stuff to take to the beach! You can’t beat the location, nice and quiet but near everything! And the weather and waves were perfect! We will definitely be back!

Rental as advertised. Adjacent to beach. Clean and all supplies necessary provided. Publix right across the street and plenty of restaurants just minutes away both in Ormond and Daytona Beach. Quiet location with assigned parking close to unit. Laundry room clean with new appliances.

First, the owner, Kevin, made us his priority, wanting to make sure we got into the condo, and everything to our satisfaction. The condo itself is well stocked with towels, blankets, utensils, etc. Easy access to elevator and the assigned parking space. And the ocean view— spectacular.

We loved our stay at Lori’s condo. Super comfortable & everything we needed was readily available. The property is well cared for and perfect for a beach vacation. The room setup was perfect for 4 adults to have their own room/bath. We loved the proximity to shopping & restaurants in OB. Our hosts were very communicative & helpful even with our late arrival due to ice storms & delayed flights. We would absolutely stay here again.

Older property with nice location. Several issues with property upon arrival. All were addressed immediately by property owner. The housekeeper was not great and lacked communication to property owner. Pool was closed due to storm repair. nice space and price for 2 bedroom.

The stay was and location was good as well as the property manager/contact person. The issue I had was the cleanliness of the place. Instructions on how to leave the place and to remove all food food from the refrigerator. The refrigerator and freezer had food in and and should've been cleaned out prior to my check in.

February Fun in Ormond Beach

This is our 3rd winter trip to Ormond Beach from Ottawa, Canada. We love the great small town feel here. We stayed in this condo for February and really enjoyed being able to walk right across the street to Publix’s grocery store, a Dollar store, and Beall’s. We walked miles down the beach and brought our bicycles and enjoyed touring the quiet streets behind the condo to the Halifax River. There are also lots of local reasonably-priced golfing options. Kevin and Lori were wonderful hosts – communication was excellent and timely. We met them in person mid-month and our visit with them and their two sons was lovely. As other reviewers have said, this condo is very comfortable, kitchen is well appointed, and the bed in the master is extremely comfortable. We liked to leave the sliding door into the bedroom open a crack at night, and let the sound of the surf put us to sleep. Bathrooms are in great shape and updated. The condo was very clean when we arrived. The condo laundry room is also very clean and machines are well maintained. Note that the balcony (at this time of year anyway) only gets sun until about 10:30 AM. After that you can go down to the pool area or out onto the beach to catch some more rays. Also, note the property is listed as having a heated pool. But in February at least, this is not what one would consider heated unless you are used to a spring-fed lake in Canada. If you have children, the closet is well stocked with beach chairs, floaty toys, inner tubes, etc., for fun on the beach. I worked remotely part-time this month; internet service in the condo was excellent for video calls. Our favorite restaurants in Ormond are the Peach Valley Café (for the best breakfast and hash browns ever), Riptides (for amazing shrimp tacos and shrimp avocado spring rolls). Stavros IV pizza is legendary; we had to get one the first night we arrived. Blau is wonderful for a romantic dinner. The European Café and Schnitzel House (a kitchy, amazing small business with the best schnitzel, cabbage rolls, pierogies, etc.). Hull’s Seafood Kitchen is excellent for fresh seafood. The Sunrise Grill & Pizza Restaurant, right across the road from the condo is a little hidden gem (Great breakfasts, friendly servers, and big portions delivered to your table quickly. It seems this restaurant has many regulars). We can’t wait to come back and enjoy our next stay at this property. Thank you, Kevin and Lori for sharing your home with us.

The property was actually even better than the description. Very clean and comfortable. I couldn’t believe how well equipped the kitchen was. You can’t beat the location, with the beach right in front of you and groceries, restaurants and bars right across A1A from the condo. It was very quiet. It was too cold to check out the pool, but it looked nice. We’ll definitely be watching for availability on this condo for future trips!

Fantastic weekend!

This beach condo is perfect for a weekend getaway. It's just the right size, is fully stocked, clean and very comfortable. The location is terrific with a Publix and other restaurants across the street, and other restaurants within a 10 minute drive. We did bring our 2 year golden retriever, but please note that dogs are NOT allowed on the beach, even on a leash. That was not our understanding, so we ended up on the balcony most of the weekend. But it was great anyway, we would definitely return! The communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. We've stayed in other places in the area and this was by far the best so far.

This unit was great! Perfect size for a family. King master and 2 twins in 2nd bedroom. Beds were most comfortable! Unit was clean and accommodating. The owner, Kevin, was the best. Made sure everything was okay and had great eating and activity recommendations. We would definitely stay here again. It was like being at home but with a much better view!!!

The property was more beautiful than the photos. It is also larger than appears in the photos. We loved how close it was to the beach. The beach is not super crowded and neither is the pool. Our most favorite part was sitting on the balcony at sunrise and also in the evening. The owners are super friendly and communicative. We look forward to hopefully coming back next year!

Very centrally located. Publix right across the street. Easy beach access. Roomy. Very comfortable beds. Floor was sandy when we got there, everything else was very clean and nice. We made a quick sweep because I couldn't stand walking barefooted but otherwise it was super nice. Absolutely no party scene which was nice.

Nice location. Great view of beach and easy access to beach. Shopping, convenience store and restaurants within walking distance. Found rental on bringfido.com for rentals that are pet friendly. Owners pre-appoved pets in condo, however, 2 residents at condo questioned me about pets and made snarky comments about pets not being allowed. Will not return with pets.

This was such a great trip. The pictures are somewhat deceiving....it was much better in person. Clean, roomy, and right on the beach. Easy access to the beach and pool. Being right across the street from grocery store was super convenient. Area restaurants were wonderful. Sunrise viewing from the balcony each morning was really a special way to start a fun filled day. Kevin and Lori were the most attentive and friendly hosts. We will return often.

February Get away

Every February we head south to enjoy some Dirt track racing, Sunshine and the ocean. Staying at a condo surpasses staying at a hotel. And our stay here was no exception. not to big, not to small room for quite time listing to the waves. with a beautiful view from the deck. This is a great place to stay. We only stay where they have King size bed in the master room. You wont be disappointed. Thanks for a great time.
