Other things to note
Camera installed outside (this is the only camera) - we use this to monitor guest count and for security purposes.
Large Garbage container located behind the complex
Possibility for noise - apartments are part of an 8plex. Typical neighbor noise is expected as with any apartment living.
Low Flow Toilets - do not flush anything other than small amounts of toilet paper
Air conditioner - please do not run temp lower than 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The compressor can easily freeze causing damage or HOT air to blow in.
The complex is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest and unfortunately the mice try to sneak inside when the weather turns cold. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. Please be aware of this and make sure you're ok with the possibility before booking.
Parking space is available as directed in the check-in guide. We are not responsible for tickets issued, cars towed/booted or any damage to guest’s vehicles while at the parking lot whether from casualty or negligent or intentional wrongful acts of other guests or third parties. Self Check-in! I like you to feel comfortable in the space, as if it was your own. I provide thorough directions and lots of communication. Throughout your stay, I am only ever a message or phone call away. I'm always happy to provide recommendations, advice, or anything else that may come up during your stay. If we are not available, we have assistant available.
Neighborhood overview
We love the historic feel and the charm that Old Town delivers. It's always enjoyable to slow down and spend time strolling through the square and the numerous shops and restaurants available. We feel perfectly safe walking around Old Town both day and night, just sticking to the immediate blocks around the plaza, and around Rio Grande Blvd. Going from Central towards Downtown does have some isolated stretches so it is recommended to use common safety sense as you would in any big city.
Distance to:
Airport: 9 miles
Balloon Fiesta Part: 12 miles (we recommend park-n-ride)
Hotel Albuquerque: 4min walk
UNM: 3.5 miles
Old Town: 2 min walk
Fairgrounds: 8 miles
Convention Center: 2 miles

My guys had night work at a local business. They needed someplace they could relax during the day so they were refreshed for the job.
This place did that.

This apartment is in a wonderful location. Directly across from Old Town, you have walking distance access to cafes, shops, restaurants, and bars. Very short drive to some great local breweries. The apartment itself is very clean. It is not fancy, but it provides more than basic accommodations. Well stocked kitchen with refrigerator, and it was so convenient having the washer/dryer. My only “complaint” is that the shower is very small so if you are anything other than an average size person it would be pretty tight. There is shower gel and shampoo but no hair conditioner so pack some if you need it. Overall, it was perfect for us and we will definitely return.

We rarely stay in anything other than a hotel, but I am so glad we chose this apartment. After having traveled three days in the car and hotel rooms with two teens, we were all ready for some extra space! The building was in the Old Town style, which was lovely. It is located directly across from Old Town, so we didn’t have to get into our car to go walk around the shops, ice cream parkours, live music, restaurants, etc. The apartment was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches such as a noise machine in the bedroom, fluffy pillows, and Roku. The stand up shower was super tiny, but we were able to manage okay. The host was easy to talk to and very thorough with check-in instructions. If traveling to Albuquerque again, we will definitely stay here.

This property and hosts fit our needs perfectly. Location, security, local knowledge, the apartment were all just exactly what we needed. Thinking about booking it again next year!

Great location, Old Town across the street. Surprisingly quiet despite being on busy street. Very well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

The property was exactly as described. Everything about the process was easy. We would stay here again

Great place. Across the street from Old Town and within walking distance to Duran Pharmacy, Gertrude Zachary. Nice touches, such as a laundry basket, hangers in the closet, well equipped kitchen, and Pinion coffee. Definitely would recommend staying here!

This apartment was in the perfect location to park your car and walk to Old Town Albuquerque. We explored that whole area with its cute shops and restaurants. It was also very easy to get to the Park & Ride location for the Balloon Fiesta along with being a short 10 minute ride to the airport. If you're looking for a comfortable, low cost option to explore the area for two couples, this is the place to be. We enjoyed our time here as well as the delicious balloon themed cookies & pins the host left for us. What a nice touch to commemorate our time here!

Coming into town, not knowing the area, it was challenging to find the entrance but around the block we went. When we found our way into the small parking lot, there was no curb appeal and nothing inviting about this property. Uncomfortable right away, we decided to find the apartment before hauling our bags up the uneven stairs to the second floor. The bars on the windows in the various apartments did not make us feel comfortable either. We managed the door lock system but the first thing we noticed upon opening the apartment was a terrible odor of bad cleaning products that seemed to be attempting to cover some other unwanted odor. That smell is not the kind of thing that will air out if you leave the windows open for a while and with bars on all the doors and windows we weren't comfortable trying.
It was clean enough, but the smell was intolerable. We contacted the owner who was less than thrilled to hear about the problem and told us she was having her head housekeeper come over right away. The head housekeeper apparently confirmed that it was just fine.
If you have any fragrant sensitivities, prefer some beauty on your vacation or want to relax and enjoy your stay in Albuquerque this is not the place for you. Keep looking.

Excellent location. Nicely decorated. Has all the nice things you'd need at home. The Keurig and coffee pods were a nice touch. We were a party of three female friends and safety was not an issue but more lighting in the courtyard would be nice. If we visit New Mexico again we would definitely pick this place.

My son and I decided to have a Staycation. We wanted to be near Old Town so we could walk. We had a great time, and the property was just as advertised.

Taryn is a great host - incredible attention to detail! She put ear plugs in each bedroom and even a white noise machine. I travel with one. The space was clean and nice. Great location to so many fun things. Would stay here again. Thank you Taryn!

When I arrived I was welcomed with a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains and a clean apartment with very comfortable beds. The rental had more than I expected from games to play, television entertainment, and a wonderful gathering space in the kitchen facing the mountains. A great place to sip coffee and chat with loved ones. One of the bedrooms also had the Mountain View. Also, right across the street is famous Old Town full of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place. The owner made sure all our needs were met by checking in with us. Thank you Taryn!

We enjoyed the spacious bedrooms with huge closets. And it was great having two bathrooms. The place was cute and decorated very comfortably.I wish I could have stayed longer.

The Old Town property was perfect for everything we needed. It is conveniently located and has all the features we could ever want or need. Communication with the property owners and their representatives was seamless. We will definitely stay again!

Easy to walk to Old Town, shops and food. Very quiet at night so if you are looking for nightlife, this isn’t the spot for you. Easy to get everywhere though! Place was super cute and spacious.

The place was very comfortable. Perfect for a couple. The location was great also. Close to Old Town shopping and restaurants.

So glad to have found this property! So stinking cute! You check in and then can walk to all the fun things to do; Old Town, museums, restaurants and such. If you choose to venture out, the I40 is right there. Easy on and off.
The unit was stocked with the essential. Washer and dryer makes for light packing. Parking was perfect and well lite at night. The locks were secure for the unit and entrance well lite. Great communication with the owner. Looking forward to returning next year!

Great location. Had an amazing time and this location was close to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely be returning, perfect for our yearly girls trip.

This was a wonderful hideaway right next to Oldtown, where you feel immersed in the old Hispanic community. The master bedroom was beautiful and the memory foam mattress was heaven to fall asleep on. The apartment was so clean and spacious. We enjoyed counting all of the birds, as well as filling the birdfeeder outside our door. We spotted a Roadrunner tip-toeing out of the courtyard below as we sat on the bench on the balcony watching a few hot air balloons float over the city. A walk across the street and your in Oldtown enjoying the culture, music, and the wonderful atmosphere of Albuquerque. I would stay here again!

This was a perfect little place for two friends on a girls' weekend. Old Town Albuquerque is right across the street for shopping and dining. The unit is super cute and clean, and the building courtyard is beautiful!

This was the PERFECT place to stay for our vacation... right next to Old Town, Little Anita's and every other thing we could want coming "home'... we moved away a dozen years ago to the Boston area, so we couldn't have asked for a better location or accommodations...
We will be back!
Thanks,
The Falvey Family

The property was just as presented. Very clean and welcoming. This was the best stocked kitchen with cooking pots and pans.It was close to all of the shops in Old Town. Everything that we had planned to do was close to the property. This trip was a birthday present from my son and when I entered into the kitchen there was a birthday card from the owners. Will recommend this property to anyone who has the good fortune to visit New Mexico.
