We brought our 2 dogs. It was my son and his girlfriend and myself. Very nice place as pictured. It was clean and even the yard was picked up. Loved the solitude as it was always from the other houses and I didn’t have to worry about my dog barking at other dogs and people.

This property is 20 minutes from the restaurants in Sturgeon Bay and 30+ minutes to the other towns in Door County. It is in a very remote location at the very end of a road. The view of Little Sturgeon Bay is lovely, but we were there in the first week of November and so couldn't really enjoy the outdoor space. The lack of air conditioning obviously wasnt an issue at this time of year, and the heat worked great.
I slept in the primary BR with a king bed and it was very comfortable. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows.
We only made coffee and pizza, but the kitchen was large and seemed well equipped.
The living room furniture is a little tired, but was reasonably comfortable. Be sure to have your TV / streaming service login IDs with you, or you wont be able to watch TV. The living room TV was large enough for us to watch our important football games.
We did have a few problems with cleanliness that we reported on Friday, but the management company was very responsive.

We stayed in June of 2023 wonderful view. Very comfortable home. We enjoyed the pool table and firepit. Our dog was able to stay with us and enjoyed the yard. The weather was cool by the lake so we didn't need to use fans. Very private also.

My husband and I booked this house to have a relaxing get away with his parents and my parents. It was indeed a fun and relaxing time. The house is clean and cute. The lake view is beautiful. We couldn’t ask for a better time.

This was a comfortable, clean home to base our Door County fishing and sightseeing adventures from!!

Great view of lake from this location. Very quiet site.

We loved staying at this property! It was a great retreat after spending our days further north on the peninsula. We enjoyed the privacy, space, and dock. The downside for our family was that it's very mossy around the dock so we saved our swimming for public beaches. We hope to stay here again when we return to Door County.

Overall it was a good place to go and we are already planning to submit a reservation for next year round the 4th of July.
My only complaint is having to strip the beds when we paid an over $400 fee for cleaning service that was to be done after we leave. Having never done this sort of stay before I had assumed it was like a Hotel/Motel where obviously it needs to be cleaned and prepped for the next guest. I just don't understand why as guests, we had to do part of the cleaning peoples work for them?

We had an awesome stay! The property came with kayaks and boards so we basically just stayed in and enjoyed ourselves. Its really quiet and private and I loved how one can just sit and enjoy the bonfire at night ot just stare at the water. The lake is very shallow (abt 2ft deep) and sandy so the children were able to splash around without worry.
We had some issues with the septic tank though. Thankfully the management was very promt and responded to us fairly quickly. We found some moldy utensils from a previous renter (im assuming) in the dishwasher but otherwise the property was clean.
All in all very pleasant

We spent last warm days at this wonderful house. This would be better if we stayed there in summer. House is right on a lake, clean water, beautiful views. Fire pit with comfortable chairs. Big property, a lot of room for dog play around. Gas grill, I would put it on the other side of the house so you can grill and watch the water. Inside good size rooms, kitchen with everything you need. Nice designed living room with pool table. Beautiful fireplace. I slept 2 nights watching the fire. Take firewood with you! In general we were glad to spend our short vacation at this place. Door county beautiful, doesn’t matter what time of the year you are coming. Only one thing, this house needs deep cleaning! Especially fireplace glass doors. You can tell that someone taking care of it but not enough. We will plan our trip for a summer months and hope our comments will be read and work will be done. Thank you

Great property with lots of space outdoors for our dog to play. We used the kayaks, but a bit cold for other outdoor activities. House was a little dated inside, but clean and functional. Great view of the bay and sunset. A good pick for people who like outdoors and more rural settings.

This property had a fabulous view with a spacious yard. Unfortunately, the windows were very dirty hindering the view. The outdoor yard games that were listed could not be found to be used. We enjoyed the roomy layout of the house for our group of 6.

We loved the little waterfront and view! House was clean and downtown Sturgeon Bay was close as well as local wineries! Overall an awesome stay!

We are already talking of staying at this property again. The window views were amazing. We really enjoyed the privacy and the wildlife that were either in the lake or in the yard.

We very much enjoyed the house being on the lake and the pier still in the water since the weather has been warm, we were able to enjoy the kayaks and fishing. The life jackets were very musty and black, not something you want on wet skin, and so were the lawn chair cushions. Volley ball and badminton were no were to be found. There should be an enclosed area where everything can be kept out of the rain and weather. I had asked about the fishing and told the fish in the picture were caught off the pier. The water was very shallow at the end of the pier and even when we went out on the kayaks, no fish. The throw-carpets/rugs by the pool table and halls were curled at the ends causing tripping hazards. Hire a new cleaning crew! The kitchen is very important in these rentals. Sink area and window are dirty and dead bugs all around. Large drawer of kitchen utensils a mess and greasy tongs and flipper made everything in there disgusting. The pot and pans, looked like they were 70yrs old, one had most of the Teflon scrapped off. Nothing in the cupboards I would want to cook in and everything is very unorganized. The kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned out and more than half of the crap thrown away. The toaster looked dangerous. Keurig coffee maker looked like it was pulled from the garbage, with water container was so filthy with a film. The dishwasher was not even mounted! The back bedroom smelled, we washed the sheets and that helped a bit but the ceiling fan were thick with dust, not just the top but the side of the blades nauseating, have never been cleaned, this caused sinus issues to my son and daughter in law who stayed in there, also the bathroom fans were full of black dust and dirt.
The house owners (or who ever) spent a lot of money on décor, which was very cute and nicely done. I feel there should be attention to the kitchen and cleaning. Some drinking and wine glasses, nice coffee mug set and dish set, assorted bowls and large utensils. Get rid of the mess you have there now, it will make a big difference, same with bath towels, get nice matching sets. The ones there now, look like our garage towels. If you can address these issues, people would come back to this house every year. And that is what your goal should be. It is a great size house, perfect for a group of people, ladies getaway, and family vacation.

Beautiful property just steps to the water. Very private at the end of the road. Great spot if you want to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen is kind of rustic but the rest of the house has some comfy seating and beds. Unfortunately most of the activities were up around Bailey’s Harbor and Sister Bay. Not a big problem but did require some extra driving with great scenery. Lots of wood for sale close by for your campfire.
