Great location, friendly staff, close to the centre of town. It overlooks the Denmark River and the view is beautiful. Because the hotel is in a side street there is almost no street noise.

The rooms are very tired and in need of renovation. Clean and tidy but perfect examples of 1970 motel life. At $170 a night not really value for money but as it was a holiday weekend they could charge what they want.

wouldn't consider staying here again, even in a pinch

the hotel is very in need of a revamp. the furnishings are old, dated and uncomfortable. the venue was noisy. it didn't feel safe with various people wandering in and out of the adjacent pub and the back of the kitchen opening metres away from the room windows. lost power and wifi for several hours in the evening - no back up power meant there was not even lighting for the entire evening. my understanding is that a new owner has recently taken possession, i would suggest these rooms should not be rented out until an update with basics - such as bedside table, lights, updated bedding and window treatments, hooks on the wall to hang clothing at the very least are undertaken.

It does not have a cooling system, fan given was old and dusty, should have a proper fan or internal cooling system. Bed was stiff

Would not recommend to anyone

Location was good

No curtains on windows. Very uncomfortable beds. Ended up leaving after first night. Didn’t stay the second night. Very aged and dated.

Overall a pleasant experience/stay

Location Friendly helpful staff Simple straightforward accommodation.

Large bed was ROCK hard. Woke up sore and bruised. Patrons/workers made early, very noisy starts. People not considerate…yelling outside. No a/c….then not enough flow through ventilation. Bathroom window nailed almost shut.

The restaurant had very good food. We booked late.

It was close to where we wanted to be. We also booked in the area.. the booking was unclear and while I had cancelled one room. The hotel had maintained the booking. So, many thanks “just in case”.

The room needs a refurbishment ASAP.

It was the worst stay in a hotel ever

The location is at the very centre of the town.

The room was smelly, and we could hear a slightest movement in the room next to us - so it was no privacy. We were promised river views but the view was on the parking lots. The room is in such condition that it should be illegal to rent.

Appalling and we bailed after 1 night to stay at a beautiful resort as we were shattered

Well where do I start. No wifi, no heating or cooling, malfunctioning electricity points and then when we had a shower. There was condensation pooled on the ceiling dropping down onto you as you shower, totally gross. We had booked two nights but bailed after one and went somewhere else. Don’t stay there it’s horrible, a clear lack of investment in maintenance over a long period and is not fit for purpose as accomodation.

The facility could be vastly improved by the installation of air conditioning in the rooms

The room had no air-conditioning and a very inadequate electric heater.

Don't stay at this place. There are better value places in Denmark.

Nothing. The place is a bit of a dump. Very tired and needs a spruce up.

This place was short staffed. Met by a grumpy person in a Mercedes that told us not to park in the parking area as it was reserved for guests. Had to wait around 20 minutes for check in and a key to the room. Breakfast not included. Looked at meals and they smelt terrible.

The location was good but the rest was a disgrace

Everything, over priced, room old. Shower didn't work properly and the TV didn't work. DO NOT STAY HERE
