About this house rental
Welcome to your new home away from home! You will fall in love with this beautifully designed space that was completed in 2021. Our inviting pine tree lined streets will surround you as you pull up into your own private parking space. As you step into the fresh mountain air, you will notice the safe, clean neighborhood. Your home away from home has a private path with thoughtfully placed motion lights leading up to your own entrance. You will have a keypad to access the self contained attached apartment.
Once inside you will have a flight of stairs to the main space containing an open kitchen, dining and living area. The natural sunlight and pine trees will shine through the many windows and skylights. The living space is furnished with a pull out, queen sized memory foam mattress. You will have access to the high speed internet and two smart tv’s. You will also be welcomed with a fully equipped kitchen. In the kitchen you’ll find a gas burning stove and Bosch dishwasher along with all of the necessary items to make you feel right at home in the kitchen. Cozy up with your family and friends in this custom built attached guest house.
You will find your private bathroom stocked with toiletries, plush white towels, a flat iron & blowdryer.
If you need to do laundry while you stay with us, you will have access to your own full sized washer and dryer.
The bedroom is as pleasing as the rest of the space with its 4 high windows with custom barn wood shutters. Off of the bedroom is a private balcony/covered deck. You will have a large closet with lots of room to hang your clothes and store luggage. Here you will also find extra bedding for the plush queen sized pull out sofa. The master bed is a king sized Blackstone memory foam mattress, dressed in crisp white linens, a down alternative comforter & duvet, and topped with a super soft blanket.
Enjoy a cup of morning coffee on the second story deck or cozy in with an evening drink in the crisp mountain air of your own private balcony. We can’t wait to be your host for your next mountain getaway!

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay. The unit is exceptionally clean and exactly as described. The hosts were responsive to our inquiries (which were very few as we had no issues whatsoever). The rental space is well thought out in terms of lighting and location of switches. This was a perfect location for our anniversary trip and we would definitely return to this rental. Thanks for providing a welcome space for us to relax, recharge and explore the beautiful area!!

Went to flagstaff for a wedding that was nonstop chaos. So nice to go back to this place to just unwind and relax. Super quiet but easy to get everywhere

We enjoyed the ponderosa pine tree quiet location in a clean and modern VRBO. It was worth the stair entry to enjoy comfortable living and bedroom areas. The only concern was the WIFI kept freezing up when trying to watch TV. But we weren't using it much anyway. Great place to stay.

Jordan and Jacob have created a lovely, comfortable, peaceful place! We’re grateful we were able to stay there. It was a convenient location to everything we wanted to do. A quiet environment. The bed was super comfy! Everything felt and looked clean. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus. We really appreciated little things like some ziplock sandwich bags in the kitchen, a couple of pods in the laundry room, and throw blankets. It’s also one of only a few places with A/C and a king size bed. We recommend it!

We really enjoyed your little place! Thank you so much! There were only a couple teeny tiny things I would tell you to possibly pay more attention to. There were only two paper towels left in the roll in the kitchen… It would’ve been nice to have had more available. Also there was no salt… I appreciate there were a few spices, but salt is kind of the most important one, lol! I forgot to lot out of my Hulu accounts on both TVs and my Amazon prime account in the living room. Oops! Anyway, great place! Thanks again!

This was such a great little find for our family of four. Very clean and very comfortable! Host was super responsive and friendly. Everything was as described and we were very happy with our stay. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Our short stay at The Local Heights was wonderful. Everything was clean and ready for our stay. It was the perfect size for me and my two kids. The warm space is very cozy and inviting. The beds (both the bedroom and pullout) were comfy and allowed us to have restful sleep for our adventures ahead. It was very nice to have laundry services available. They had a few laundry pods/dryer sheets available. Walmart is right down the street in case you do need to buy anything as well as several restaurants. Jacob and Jordan have created a wonderful, family friendly space for your time in the beautiful city of Flagstaff.

Jordan was great and so was the home!! This place was amazing - very clean, isolated and not far from the city! I was there for work but enjoyed coming back to a cozy place.
I loved how they installed small doors for the windows to shut out the light.
Kitchen appliance were up to date, utensils were clean, laundry machine was well maintained.
This is a perfect place for 1-2 people or a small family.

I want to start off by saying there is much more to be said about this VRBO but I have a certain word limit I can hit so I will try my best to compose everything together. Our recent stay at this VRBO left us quite dissatisfied . The property is in a charming location, nestled in a cute area, but it fell short of our expectations. The description promised privacy, but in reality, the hosts living beneath the rental made our stay less private than we'd hoped for. Their early morning activities were intrusive and disruptive waking us up at 6:00 a.m.
We also had an issue when inviting friends over. Despite being respectful and quiet, we were asked to leave the next day. We believe a warning would have sufficed, and clearer communication of expectations from the host could have prevented this.
The abrupt eviction, accompanied by a police officer, made us very uncomfortable. We had gathered with friends in a non-disruptive manner, yet we were asked to leave without a refund. We feel this was unnecessary, especially considering our prompt compliance.
While the property itself is beautiful, we can only recommend it if you plan to use it solely for sleeping. The hosts seem intolerant of any noise, which is surprising given the property's connection to their home. More transparency in the listing about the hosts living underneath is necessary. On the bright side, the husband was polite and understanding, but the wife's response was less accommodating.

We truly liked your property and enjoyed our stay. The bed was amazingly comfortable! As we walked in, the apartment gave off a very welcoming and cool vibe! Jordan and Jacob’s VRBO is very cozy with all the things that most people would need. The pictures are true to life. Kitchen is fully loaded and the bathroom is beautiful. A couple of my favorites would be the skylight over the living room area and the upper deck patio, off the bedroom!

Whether coming up from Phoenix to Ski Snowbowl (I doubt out of state groups travel to Smowbowl ;) or coming from out of state to enjoy the GC, Sedona, etc… perfect convenient location. Very clean, tastefully modern yet warm cabin feel. Awesome appliances, good media, great WiFi. Not a single issue!
If someone complained about anything at this amazing price point I’d question their sanity!
I’ve stayed at MANY VRBOs and have never written a review before; typically not worth my time, but I felt obligated after this experience!

We had a great time in Flagstaff. The location was perfect in a quiet little neighborhood. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything we needed. It was cute and cozy! Jordan was a great host, very friendly and very responsive. We'll be back for sure!

Enjoyed our 7 night stay. Nice open living area with comfortable foldout couch and kitchen area. I’m an early riser and slept on the foldout a few nights when our adult daughter visited for a few days. Large bedroom with comfy bed, linens, and large closet. Close to NAU, short drive to downtown and several parks. Perfect accommodations for us!

I am very happy I chose to stay at Jordan and Jacob’s property. I don’t eat out when I travel so the kitchen was my main need. Safety and cleanliness are very important and they too were provided. The Living Room and Bedroom were very spacious for housing all things one may bring with while travelling. Thank You to Jordan for answering any questions I had 😊 I would definitely rent here again when back in Flagstaff!

This property and the hosts were perfect. We were able to have a quiet stay away from the bustle of Phoenix. Almost felt like we were in the pacific north west due to the wonderful neighborhood where this is located. Apartment design is simple yet modern. Definitely recommend

This place is perfect! It was super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was enough room for my fiancée and I and conveniently located. There’s a small deck out the bedroom window which is very relaxing to sit and enjoy the beautiful trees and weather. Jordan was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Would absolutely stay here again.

The photos accurately displayed the property which was located in a safe mountainous neighborhood. While it was cozy, it had plenty of room for the two of us. The owners had obviously put much effort into making it comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities.

I've stayed in a lot of rental properties over the years and this was one of my favorites. Not only was it clean, comfortable and convenient (my "big 3" requirements), there were many pluses. Really comfortable king size bed & comfy pillows, balcony off the bedroom - great for morning coffee or evening beverage, two large flatscreen tvs, full kitchen and it's in a quiet, quaint neighborhood.

This place was built with the finest of touches and if I were looking for someone to remodel my house I'd want this guy to do it. Clean, thoughtful use of space, easy to access with code provided, super quiet neighborhood, good privacy. We will definitely stay here again!
Please note: 2 steps up to the door and then full flight of stairs upon entry. Wasn't a problem for us but good to know if you or someone in your party is not ambulatory.

My boyfriend and I loved this place! It came with everything we could’ve needed to cook which was a huge plus because we love to cook and save money on meals. The bed was insanely comfortable. And the neighborhood this is in is so beautiful! Close enough to downtown flagstaff but far away enough that it was quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t recommend more!
