It’s was ok as a stop over wouldn’t stay longer than a night or two

Basic room if that is what you want. No frills, no breakfast, no parking (on street only)

Close to seafront & all amenities. Short walk into town, 5 mins to beach.

No parking as advertised. Lighting sensors not working in some hallways so quite dark. Fire alarm test at 0730! Room a little musty.

Comfortable, clean, staff friendly, great room price

Room very comfortable and clean, staff very helpful, friendly and professional. Location easy to find and parking on street ok, hotel has parking permits.

Once checked in, the building is somewhat akin to a rabbit warren. Doors leading off corridors everywhere, took me a long time to find my room.

Lift out of order “the day before” not fixed during stay. Very dirty rooms bathroom and bed sheets. Generally not clean.

Hummingbirds visit the Pearl & Pebbles

Not far from the centre of town and close to free parking to the West. Plenty of PG tips and Nescafé in the room if you remembered to bring your own Vegan milk. Also bonus free shortbread and bickie's in the room if only I was not Vegan.

Not as attractive as the pictures suggested.

Happy but Hot

Clean, nice rooms, ample number of tea / coffee making sachets and biscuits. Comfortable.

It's a shame they can't offer breakfast. It was exceedingly hot in the rooms. Took over 5 minutes of running tap and shower to get warm water. Need Wii Fi, as most of the TV channels do not work otherwise.

Did the job nicely.

The guy on reception was so friendly & helpful. The rooms can be a little bit hard to find but he showed all of us to our rooms with a smile. The location was perfect for us, as we were working just around the corner and the rooms were clean & comfortable, towels fluffy and sheets crisp!

Shower could have had more pressure :-)

Location was good, room was clean.

Room felt very clinical, whole place felt a bit run down. No breakfast, no WiFi. Just didn't like the feel of the place but it was only 1 night so bearable. Lamps didn't work in our room.

No frills, basic.

The Indian people who run it were nice. The A.C. worked and the view was OK of the street below. The shower was good quality and the kettle and table area was clean.

The lift broke while I was there, I wasn't in it but I heard the person who was call the management with her mobile phone. The walls were dirty and the place is easy to take a wrong turn in as it's a little maze like.

Other guests where a bit noisy late at night and room could do with air con instead of stand up fan and could do with having bar/restaurant

Refurb very good clean and great location

Unfortunately this brand new refurb and new paint and headboard glue smell and fumes have me a asthma attack in the night and I did not sleep at all very strange smell

I will never stay here again l!

The cleaning!!! I checked in, went to my room and used the bathroom. I opened the toilet to find a massive amount of faeces and toilet paper on top of it. I went down to the desk and there was no one there to speak to! The room smelt funny and the sheets had a musty smell too. I barely slept to the noise of other guests throughout the night.

Was nice the parking tickets were good value for £2 to park in the H areas bed was comfy staff were great

Under the bed wasn’t clean, signs to her back to the reception weren’t clear somethings if u were not using the lift. Water wasn’t hot either but all in all a good stay

Pleasant, comfortable apart from other guest noise.

Location perfect for Eastbourne Tennis Tournament and walking on seafront and coastal path.

Very noisy.....doors slamming. Excessive noise from 3rd floor needs carpet to deaden sound (thought room above was throwing around barbell) . Shower appeared to have blocked drain, mentioned this.

Loud slamming of door (fire exit/stairs) right next to mine, but otherwise perfect location.

2 minute walk from the Beachfront, 5 minute walk from the shops and restaurants. Location was perfect!

My room (308) was next to a fire exit/stairs. It didn't close softly, so I got woken up in the middle of the night cos of the loud slamming of the door. Might be best to fix that. Walls were not soundproof either, so expect to hear the comings and goings outside of your room.
