We had no hot water in the holiday home payed 273 pounds not value for money didn't have a shower for 2days not good for my autistic child

Filthy dirty outside Mattress 1ft too big for single bed. So grandson kept falling off it White towels that were grey crusty . Got bitten by fleas or bed bugs . Need fumigating I got videos that I can’t send Bought food for a lovely barbecue ( would you eat if this )

there was only bedding for one of the three beds and the owner insisted we pay an extra £20 before they would supply bedding for one of the single beds so that my friend and I didn't have to share a bed!

Hunt the caravan

Clean, tidy had almost everything we needed. Nice quite location.

There was no signage on the roads. The one way system was a mess, we had hoped to use the club house but we were too scared to in case we spent ages finding it & not find our way back in the dark it took 53 minutes to find it in daylight. The caravan was great, but a double bed had been made up, I went with a friend, not a partner. I asked for this to be remedied & was told it would be the next day & cost £20. We didn't do it. for one nights sleep, we felt it was not worth it ( we do acknowledge the cost involved. It would have been nice to be asked beforehand). Some oven gloves would have been useful. Otherwise, the caravan had everything we needed. Two toilets were a bonus.

The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped.

I wasn't impressed with the park itself, very confusing. The one way roads had no signs to indicate which road you are on. The maps available were also confusing.

Passing the buck

It was OK we had everything we needed.

The caravan takes dogs so when you arrive take photos of the floor. The reason I'm saying this is my daughter come to visit on the Sunday with her little yorkie and we lost our £50 deposit because apparently she made a mark on the floor " You can see it in the photo they sent me " no way did she made that mark she is tiny. It's a older caravan and it as allowes dog so yes of course you will have mark's. I was just the unlucky one that got blamed. So please take care and check everything.

Comfy caravan , had all we needed.

The property was clean and very well equipped , it had all that we needed. The club house on site was friendly and had entertainment on throughout the week. Caravan was great value for money , would book again .

The stay was fine. You could not use the pool as it was too crowded and had no TV.

The site is very steep so not good for anyone with walking issues. The third bedroom has no beds, only a cot.

Family holiday , fun time in hastlings. Thank you for letting us borrow your caravan .

It was Nice and cosy and clean . The camp is lovely and quiet .

The cat ornament eyes lol so had to put it away lol 😆 Would of been better if there was a bed in 3rd room instead of cot bed as my son had to sleep in front room and not that comfortable.

Could have been better

The location of the van was very nice

The van had a smell of being damp, especially in the bedroom,also it was quite dusty on arrival especially around the tv. Also there is an ant problem, had to keep food including sugar in the fridge. There was only my self and a freind with our two dogs staying, we did stay for the 4 nights, but would Not stay here again.

Great value for money. Cosy little caravan and perfect for a family with dogs.

The property itself is lovely and haven’t a bad word to say about it. Great location and has everything you need. We were gutted as the park closed the swimming pool on a Saturday without any notice.

Pleasant stay for 2 of us and our doggie

Very clean upon entry, could smell the cleaning products which we loved - open space around van, driveway, and plenty of utensils and cups etc for our week. Neighbours were friendly and chatty, which was nice, and easy to navigate around the park.lovely pub nearby, and lake was lovely to walk around and the woods.

Cats from the owners on park do wander around / into the caravan, so one to be aware of. Lots of bees near van too / come in, may be a nest nearby due to woodlands around. Can hear neighbouring dogs thay bark at around 6/7am every morning

comfy caravan about 15 minutes drive from Hasting

clean and comfortable caravan cosy duvets and towels included good kitchen supplies and utensils and the oven worked well and it was good being able to put some heat on in the bedrooms as it got a bit cold at night would book again

I t was described as 3 bed roomed but only two rooms have beds the third just had a cot and desk in it but our toddler was too big for the cot and there were no curtains at the window but luckily there is a pull out sofa bed in the living room so we were able to use that. There is no garden or outdoor space that is safe for a toddler to use. Also be aware the site is VERY hilly and the van is at the bottom .

Comfortable accommodation, great location and friendly host.

Easy to get keys from the key safe which is nice after a long journey (no one wants to queue to check in after a long drive). Caravan was enough for our needs, had plenty of utensils etc to cook a simple meal. Location was very good, a short drive to hastings Town centre/beach. The country Club was a nice tidy pub, with a pool table that my children and husband enjoyed using. Host was very good, with clear communication by message. We would definitely return.

The caravan decor is a little dated and could do with modernising, however we didn't really care. As long as it was comfortable enough to sleep in, which it was, the colour of the curtains etc do not really make a lot of difference. Perhaps a couple of chairs to sit on outside the caravan would be a nice touch, we had some sunny days and a chair outside to sit and read would be nice:)
