Birthday treat

The room was nicely decorated, comfy bed and a good shower. Good selection of beers in the bar.

No biscuits in the room, slow on the breakfast in the morning.

Excellent accommodation for a short stay

Excellent access for after hours. Gentleman who welcomed us was rushed off his feet but still took the time to take us to our room and show us all the facilities available. Bed was comfortable and nicely laid out and the room was very clean.

Comfortable Night Stay.

Location was perfect for visiting my daughter. Enjoyed lunch, although the sandwich option was not available.

Not having a blind/curtain over the en-suite window. It was partially glazed but didn’t feel I had full privacy from other properties.

On the whole, good apart from a couple of things I described in the ‘What didn’t you like’ section.

Breakfast was good, rooms were large and roomy

Cost of drinks and we were charged a 12.5% surcharge, also the pudding we ordered was very dry.

Convenient location for what I needed to do, but would not recommend it to tourists

I did not like the property very much. No facilities and very minimal amenities.

Not as comfortable nor in as good condition as the rating on booking.com suggested. I would not stay here again.

I always stay here because the pros outweigh the cons

Great location, great rooms for the price. Friendly staff and unlimited access. Spacious rooms and will appointed. Pub food but really very good pub food.

The building is old so the noise levels of people on the floors above can be loud, and room 3 faces out over the kitchen so be prepared for fan noise when the kitchen operates. The free wifi is a bit restrictive.

Poor and expensive for the stay location was great for what we required

Closeness to where we had to be

The room 7 was small but ok for purpose The bed quilt had a stain on it Sink was small for a wet shave and only allowed about 4 inches of water before it became a liability to the tiles on the floor. The meals were over priced and I did not like the automatic service charge that was for a pub meal. Breakfast scrambled eggs came off the fork as one lump that you had to separate with the knife

Very good value for your money.

Great overall. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was comfortable, with the bed in particular being quite spacious and having lots of pillows. The bathroom was pretty good too, strong pressure on the shower and easy to use. Great for a solo or two friends traveling. The location is decent, with it not being too far from points of interest, the O2 in my case.

Great apart from very cold room

Did not have breakfast. Great location and bedroom beautiful and decorated tastefully respecting the period of the property . Bed comfortable and excellent linen and pillows

The room was freezing. We did not arrive until 9.00 pm and the lady who took us up commented on how cold it was and to turn heating up . This should have been done earlier as it was a very cold nite .

Ideal location for short city stay, tasty food and pleasant staff.

Clean. Comfy bed. Friendly helpful staff. Tasty evening meal and excellent location for Maritime Museum and Canary Wharf. Would stay again. Nice pub atmosphere.

Shower extract fan not working and en-suite sink small but these didn’t affect my stay.

Overall was a lovely place to stay, quite near the train station which was a bonus

Amazing stay

Beautiful pub, comfy room. Staff were all lovely, food was amazing. Perfect place to stay when visiting O2. Thank you, we'll definitely be coming again

Lovely Stay.

Room was lovely, spacious and clean. We arrived earlier than check in time but was told we could wait and have a drink and they will make sure our room was done next.

The areal for the TV in the room wasn't working so made it hard to watch the TV, but as we were only there for a place to sleep, it wasn't too much of a huge concern.

A charming place to be right across Greenwich

A wonderful, lively and friendly local pub with a few sweet and cozy rooms above. Great breakfast and food in the pub. Well-appointed room with a great bathroom, all exceptionally clean and very charming. We loved it very much and definitely will be back.

Nice place but...

It's genuinely a nice place; a good place to stay but....

The heating is always on full blast in the bathroom; the TV reception is appalling; there was no room servicing even though requested.

Ideal, quiet base for the O2

The property was on a quiet side road, close to the river. They were welcoming on our arrival and served nice food. It was ideal for our trip to the O2

Great value boutique hotel near Canary Wharf

Well decorated rooms, quiet and very attentive staff.

Highly recommend + the best burger ever

We loved the place, small but comfortable and it was spotless. Staff is quite friendly too and we had dinner at the Pub and, our choice was the Smash Burger that’s the best burger I’ve ever had. 👌🏽🤤

Fabulous and understated a real winner

Absolutely fabulous room with everything needed for a city break, five mins wall from the DLR, Island Gardens with easy connections to the tube through Canary Wharf, breakfast not included but available and great quality. Super quiet location, comfiest bed and very clean.

The room was on the top floor and very hot, even with the provided fan, not really a criticism but made sleeping uncomfortable. Location is potentially a bit far out for people but honestly the quality of the accomodation and the quietness of the area supercedes proximity to Central London for us

Great stay

Great sized room, big bathroom with a good shower. Lovely balcony, fantastic staff, lovely quiet area and beautifully decorated.

No parking, but we went over a weekend and so could use on street parking nearby
