I stayed for a conference nearby and I was warmly greeted by the owners and their friendly pets when I arrived. I was welcomed to enjoy apples and peaches from their trees.

This was the location for a wine weekend getaway in Temecula. Quick and easy access to the main road that connects the wineries.
We would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet and private. Beautiful views from cozy sitting areas right out the back door. Hosts have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The bed and mattress are top notch. Slept like a baby!

We had a lovely time staying for 5 nights during the horse show. The little house is clean. The views are amazing! The patio area was perfect for watching the sun go down. We spent the majority of our time at the horse show so we did not watch TV at all - which may have been good because the TV and couch set up is a little awkward. The small shower in the bathroom wasn't our favorite either. We came home at the end of each day needing to clean up after our horse chores and the tiny shower was hard to move around in. I am not a large person and my daughter said the same thing and she's tiny. The curtain just keep sticking to us. Just those few little things, otherwise it was perfect!

Centrally located for us to celebrate my granddaughter’s wedding. The guest house was perfectly located for our travel to various wedding planning and ceremony venues in the Temecula/Murrieta area.

We had a great weekend in Temecula. We were at the property very little as we were attending a wedding. But we enjoyed coffee on the back patio which is separate and private from the main house. The guest house was spacious and perfect for a coupleOur only issue was that when we arrived in the afternoon, the house was very hot. We left quickly, leaving the wall unit A/C on to cool down the space so that we could sleep comfortably. We think the owner went into the space and turned off the A/C while we were away. This was an invasion of privacy and left us sleeping in a very hot space that night.

This guest house is very charming and we felt right at home. The view is amazing and Doug is very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived at Doug and Julie’s, we felt at home. These hosts went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They allowed us to arrive hours earlier than expected; which meant everything as we were 3 hours jet lagged and desperate to rest from traveling. Julie had stocked anything and everything necessary to settle in. The property was amazingly quiet and serene.
If I would make any suggestion, it would be to permit constant operation of the A/C units during summer months. That’s it. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to the Temecula area.

Beautiful property, very quiet and cozy

This property, is a true "gem." Doug and Julie, the property owners, were so kind and gracious, and a true pleasure to meet. The guest house is perfect for two adults, who want a nice "getaway" to the surrounding Temecula wineries. To include their own, which is nearby. We're already making plans for a return trip. Great weekend!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Temecula and chose this super cute cottage. The location is excellent, quiet, and has walking trails around the area. We enjoyed sitting outside each night with a glass of wine and enjoying the views. Lovely place, fully stocked with everything needed, and a super comfy bed. Will definitely be back!

The place was fine, clean, nice enough. But the owners are horrible!
We cleared bringing our Great Dane with us before we booked the house, with both owners (Doug and Julie). My girlfriend & I are both professional dog handlers; we told them clearly that, while our dog was friendly, we would be keeping him on a leash, and away from other animals on site, since he's still learning how to socialize with new dogs. I even sent them pictures of him hiking and playing with his pack.
The morning after our first night, we were outside having coffee, relaxing. Their dog, Atlas, (apparently being watched by a friend, not the VRBO owners, who we never physically met), wandered over to us, off-leash, to say hi. Our dog checked him out, and started to play with him, but Atlas pulled away. Our dog, being on-leash, got frustrated, and barked. He's a 155lb Great Dane, so his bark was loud.
Their friend never got up to intervene, just sat on their deck, watching us from a distance. Atlas walked away, we told the person we were sorry, and explained the situation, that it wasn't at all anything to worry about, but we'd still keep the dogs apart to be safe. A few minutes later, Atlas returned, unphased, and our dog was actually getting more comfortable with him. We actually figured they'd be playing soon enough.
I went inside, and at 8:12am, Julie calls me up, demanding we leave immediately. "You need to be out of the house in 30 minutes!" She said something vague about "the dog incident," so I asked her to explain. "I don't need to explain myself to you," she said, and again demanded we leave immediately.
We had been planning this vacation for a while. I took off work for it. And it was impossible to find lodging with a large dog at that point, on a Saturday morning...so we ended up having to drive back to LA a day early.
I've demanded a full refund from VRBO, but BE WARNED ABOUT THESE HOSTS! They are not to be trusted!

My girlfriend and I were in Temecula for a wedding but didn’t want to stay at an expensive hotel so we were super happy to find this peaceful and cozy spot! We loved spending our mornings playing their 100 year old piano and enjoying the beautiful views with our coffee. It’s located 10 minutes from just about everywhere we needed to be over the weekend, but still allowed us to feel a little off the map. The hosts are extremely hospitable and warm, and their dog Atticus is just the best! We’d definitely stay here again next time we go wine tasting.

Nothing but great things to say about this location. I was looking for something different than the typical hotel and have not stayed at an Airbnb before. The owners are very nice and made me feel like I had my own vacation home. The view is amazing! I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Our host were the absolute best. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The views were amazing! We would definitely stay there again.

The cottage is lovely but there are steep stairs to the loft bedroom and the bathroom is on the ground floor. This made it difficult for this old gal to make it to and from the bathroom in the nighttime. I left two days early because of this but Doug offered me a full refund for the days I did not use. We "split the difference" so neither of us took a compete loss. If you can handle the stairs then this is a lovely place to stay and I would recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was close to the places we were visiting and made for an overall enjoyable trip. Owner was very responsive to all communications. Would stay here again if we're in the area.

This was a unique property, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had our two dogs, and it was easy to let them out to go potty because the whole property was fenced. That was very important to us. We would stay there again.

It was a beautiful property and the hosts are wonderful. My partner and I had a pretty busy schedule but we loved every moment we were there. We wished we could stay longer just to appreciate it!

I was very fortunate to meet the hosts my first night at the property, we sat outside on the driveway and saw football and talked a little about my current situation.
The property was perfect for what I was looking for, a simple getaway from the city, even though I was there for a wedding.
I will defenitly be back!

Great Getaway
Great weekend getaway location if you want to avoid the boring cookie cutter neighborhoods or hefty winery stay.
The proximity to the wineries and town shopping was great. Th Your guest house is ideal to feel cozy yet comfortable. The views from the hillside patio are splendid indeed! We enjoyed our breakfasts during the cool AM hours while listening to birds chirp and fly amongst the hillside setting. PM hours can get a bit windy but nothing a sweater can't fix, besides it's good for the grapes.

Perfect stay!
I can't say enough about how great our stay was. Doug and Julie are so nice and thoughtful. The guest house has everything. The king bed was so nice to have and the room was quiet. The two air conditioners kept it very cool in the hot summer. The kitchen was fully stocked as was the bathroom. Chairs were so comfortable for naps in between wineries! The property was beautiful with so many things to look at. Water features, lots of seating and bunnies in the back yard. :) The view was amazing and so close to everything. We will be back!

Amazing Guest Suite
This is the best kept secret in Temecula. Doug was super easy to communicate with and he was very accommodating. He and his beautiful Wife Julie are wonderful people. The guest suite was the best experience I’ve ever had. They had it all set up for me. Everything you can imagine as far as convenience is inside this place including cushy movie theatre chairs. I couldn’t have asked for more. Ended up booking to more straight weekends there. Amazing space.
