Our two teenage granddaughters said they had a fantastic time and the entire setup was perfect

The proximity to the beach. As a family with small children, being so close to the beach and not having to crossing a busy street to get to the fun was a plus!

We booked this for a triathlon weekend and when we arrived the first thing we realized was that the garage space was not usable for us because of the angle of entry, a small hatchback can make it but our Subaru could not. The second was that the unit was not cleaned prior to arrival…long brown curly hairs in both beds, same hair all over bath room walls, hair in shower, black scuff marks all over the walls. I contact customer service via chat and they said it had been cleaned but sent a team out to clean it. We couldn’t see what the place looked like after until the next day because there was no place to park for a mile in any direction. We ended up getting a hotel room and went back the next morning to find the hair on the bed gone but the bathroom still was covered in hair. We called Vacasa customer care and they told me they have to contact their local team to decide whether they could cancel my stay and refund anything and they would be back with me…they never called me back. So I paid for a place that we never slept in…hell we never even sat on the bed because it still had the last guest’s hair on it. Avoid this rental and this company.

This property is very convenient as it is at a walking distance to the beach, restaurants, supermarket. I slept like a baby in the comfortable bed.The only negative point, there is a garage spot but it is so so small that you need to park as a pro to go in and out. We decided that parking on the street was much easier than having the stress of damaging the car.Garage opening door was not working but there is a side door to go inside to open the garage door.

Great location and weather! Condo was cozy and comfortable, needed a few things not included so bring your own can opener and the coffee pot didn’t work properly but other than that we had a blast.

Very clean two split bedroom duplex with everything you need to make it home. So close to the beach. Very short walk. Awesome place to stay. Thank you for everything!

Happy with location and the home

The overall location was ok. But, it was super hot (no a/c) so we had to keep the windows open but not good ventilation. The bedrooms didn't have ceiling fans. Super small space. Super, super noisy location - people in the other buildings were really loud and traffic was really loud. The window in the bunkbed bedroom had a broken screen and was at the same height of the bed, so easily a small child could roll out the window into the alley two stories below. Not to mention the sheets were stained and gross in that bedroom. Oh, and the one-car garage was so narrow and at a weird angle, we couldn't even fit our car in. So, finding a parking spot on the street was nearly impossible. I would not recommend this place.

Cozy clean small place in a perfect location. Only a few steps from the beach and not too far from the boardwalk.

Great Location a block from the beach close to Newport Beach Pier. Can walk anywhere. We enjoyed our stay there. Well appointed with appliances and what not.
Unit was clean when we arrived. Unit was smaller than anticipated, much smaller. Unit is dated and furniture showed lots of wear.

The apartment is comfortable and located in a residential area. The beach is a block away. Restaurants and a grocery store are less than a 10 minute walk. The parking spot is both narrow and short. We were able to get our vehicle in but it was a tight squeeze. A compact car would fit better.

The location to the beach, resturants and grocery is great. The unit was "barebones" but that is to be expected since a place at the beach can get pretty roughed up with sand and wet bathing suits. The cleanliness was ok except for the beds. The mattress protectors should have been thrown out. They were loaded with disgusting stains as were some of the pillows. The mattress in the first bedroom should be flipped. It sank a little to one side. The pillows were flat as pancakes and stained as well. Could never sit on the patio furniture because it was always wet. We were grateful for the many beach towels and beach chairs

This place is the perfect little get away… I am a clean freak and this place was immaculate… not to mention foot steps away from the beautiful Newport Beach and walking distance to the best restaurants… you won’t be disappointed and this gem of a beach bungalow!!

Disney Trip
I chose this place to stay for access to Disneyland. Newport Beach is such a beautiful place and short commute time to Disneyland. The Duplex was a little difficult to access with your vehicle. You must have a tiny car to use the garage parking space. I had to park my SUV on the street across from unit and a block to two down. The unit was freezing when we arrived and the wall heater pilot was not even on. I had to call my husband at home to walk me through lighting the pilot and turning on the system. Other than that the unit was comfortable enough for 3 of us. Kitchen was decently stocked. They gave us a welcome bag with trash bags, a sponge, dishwashing liquid, paper towels and laundry packs to get you by. The lighting situation was bad, the lights were flickering the whole time. Overall decent stay, very close to the beach, would recommend for summer beach stays.
Note for Management: I believe you are using the wrong bulbs with the dimmable light switches. You have to be sure to get the right light bulbs that are specific to dimmable light switches. Thats probably whats causing the flickering.
