Property was very clean and as pictured.
Definitely recommend!! Overall loved our stay!!
Amenities lists pool (or did at least when I booked) and we found out that the pool is not always kept up nor usable. There was one morning of rough waters at high tide that the pool would have been nice to use.
Did not rent a car as we mostly came to the island to be at the beach. Had a very easy time figuring out the bus system and went to a couple different spots on the island. I was even able to get a superbly delicious jerk chicken meal delivered (via Bento App) one night.
PSA: The ocean is a communal resource, bring a bag when you can to pick up trash that gets washed up to the tide lines. I surprisingly noticed almost no trash on the beach and then one morning spotted this man walking the beach picking up trash, so I joined him for the rest of my mornings there.

I want to start this off saying that the condo was as pictured & suited our needs. The location was great. However, my low rating has everything to do with the complete lack of communication with the host & the property management team. It's been a long time since I've been made to feel disrespected, unheard,& unimportant. I should've seen the red flags from the beginning but I took all the positive reviews for face value & ran with it. My mistake. If I had a general question I had to message the host twice to get an answer. I didn't receive the check in information until I asked for it 48 hrs prior to arrival. The door code didn't wk & it took 4 messages & a phone call to get help. They didn't bother to tell us about Hurricane Beryl until the day before landfall. When I asked about a potential refund for the 4 days we had left, since we chose to evacuate because a cat 5 hurricane (at the time) was headed our way, I was asked if I got the insur. No, I did not. BUT I thought maybe they might be compassionate enough to give us something back. Instead, I have been completely ignored. 4 messages to the host have went unanswered. They haven't even had the decency to tell me no. I know I'm not entitled to anything but an answer of any kind would be nice. Even the property management is ignoring my messages to them. It's rude, not good business, & unprofessional! I too own rental property in a popular destination & have never treated my guests like this.

We absolutely loved this place. Great location, great beach. The place has everything you need. We enjoyed having the beach chairs to take to 7 mile beach. Check in was easy. Communication was great! Grand Cayman has lots of things to do. We enjoyed Stingray city. We drove to Starfish point and Botanical gardens. We would love to come back at stay here again.
Thanks, Jack!

Loved our ocean view, private beach. Swam with turtles and lots of fish. Snorkeling was fantastic! Check out stingray city, starfish point, Eden park(free snorkeling with food and drink offered afterwards). We rented a car and drove all over the island! Highly recommend Grape tree cafe, Sunday is mahi Maui day, Herman’s is good too.

We really enjoyed the ease of a condo on a quiet beach!

My wife and I have rented units in the Caribbean for over 30 years of travel on 35 islands...this condo was the best. Out of the bustle of the '7 mile area', yet close enough to do the entire island (with a rental car). The centeal AC was fabtastic. Well equipped, clean and good communication with management. This is the place for self reliant travellers who do not want or need a resort setting.

My girl friends and I stayed in this condo for 4 nights and we had an amazing time! Melinda was on top of everything and communicated every step to us weeks before the trip. The apartment was very cleaned and cared for, in addition to being on the most amazing beach; it was private, quiet and Spotts beach is the best. We went to many other beaches, including the most popular, 7-mile beach, and none of them compare to Spotts beach. I went snorkeling there and saw a Caribbean shark and many turtles. The apartment has an amazing view of palm trees and overlooks the ocean. I couldn't be happier and would highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for a quiet, family paradise then look no further. We were so thrilled with our Condo! It was absolutely perfect for our family. Every morning my husband and I would wake up, make ourselves a coffee, and walk mere steps to, sometimes, our own private beach. The palm trees provided shade from the sun and the beach chairs were there waiting for us. An hour later our teenagers would emerge with their snorkel gear and would head into the water and see numbers of turtles, sting rays and schools of tropical fish. It was amazing! Spotts beach was in an area of Grand Cayman that was away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile, and George Town but close enough for us to drive to and check out other spots on the Island. Our favourite place though, was Spotts beach. We loved coming back to our oasis. The Condo was perfect for us. Our teenage girls took over the loft, which had a bunk bed, a double bed, and a bathroom to themselves. The kitchen was stocked and a nearby grocery store, Hurleys, stocked our fridge. The Condo also had beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, and a cooler for us to take out for the day when we visited other beaches. We cried saying good bye to our condo for 10 days. The best family vacay ever!!

We love the Island. This Condo is in the perfect location . Food, groceries and restaurant's are close by. The beach is breath taking ,Snorkelling with sea turtles is amazing. The property manager Melinda was the best. There wasn't a kettle on on site. She dropped out her personal one for us. We had a issue with the water pipe. She told us about the water before we even knew it wasn't working. She work Diligently, keeping us notified until it was fixed with minimum disruption. She offered many suggestions as things to so on the island and restaurants. We have been to the island many of time and this is our second time at this condo. We love everything about it. Cannot wait to come back.

Great beach, great condo, great snorkeling especially if u desire to see turtles, great location 15 min from Georgetown, we will be back!!!!
4.8
Lovely quiet place to spend on the beach and snorkel with the turtles
4.8
About as perfect of a location as you could ask for. Snorkeled with turtles every time we got in the water by condo. Good location for exploring all parts of the island.
4.8
My adult son and I had a lovely time staying at the condo. Our only issue was the temperature of the loft, which made it difficult to sleep as we are currently used to much cooler temperatures thanks to winter. The condo was great otherwise!
4.8
Perfect location! Walk out onto the beach & snorkel. No crowds, plenty of space on the beach. Clean & comfortably. Recommend renting a car to get around. We would definitely stay again😊Great first trip to this slice of paradise.

Overall, the description matched what we expected completely, the place was clean and comfortable, the location is supreme (Spotts Beach). The property manager and owner were both very helpful and responsive. Our only issue was that our expectations of the pool were very different than the reality. You have to cross a busy road to use it, and it was depressing and dirty. So that was a big disappointment to our daughter as the pool was a large part of our decision to rent a place. We made dueand the beach was terrific, but the pool description should be more realistic.

What a great spot this place was. We loved the privacy we had. Everyone that was there was really nice. Great place for a family trip. Cant beat having the beach and ocean right out back. Would definitely reccomend this place to everyone.

The Coral Bay properties are located in what we believe is the nicest spot on the island. We hate crowds and like to enjoy the beach and ocean in peace and quiet. We also enjoy snorkeling and you can't have a nicer spot than right in front of the property. Sea turles are plentiful and and an outer reef keeps the wave action low. We can't say enough about how wonderful this beach area is.
The unit was clean with a well appointed kitchen and a very comfortable bed.
To make our stay even better, the manager communicated with us immediately and was always offering to do anything to make our stay better.
The property is also fairly close to Georgetown, the airport, and nearby shopping centers. You have to have a car but they also have reserved parking for your unit.
The area is well lit, well maintained, and offers fantastic sunsets. You be thinking about booking a return trip soon after you check out.

We wanted a quick get away to cayman for end of summer , nice and relaxing and easy. Great spot! Not as busy as seven mile beach.
4.8
Loved our stay here. Had everything we needed. Quiet and relaxing.
4.8
We have stayed here a few times. We find the location great, beach area great and amicable comfort level with others on the property. The Property manager is very responsive and we have adopted as our home away from
home.

Condo was amazing and served as an amazing base to explore the whole island. Great location, great place!
4.8
The condo was as described and was in a perfect spot right in the middle of the island so you can basically be anywhere in about 20 minutes. The snorkeling was great! We saw sea turtles every day as well some stingrays. Would definitely rent this condo again.
4.8
This property was perfect! Melinda was great before and during our stay and was a joy to talk to. We ate breakfast on the balcony everyday and enjoyed the ocean breeze. 10/10 recommend
4.8
Pictures were accurate, comfortable amount of space, we had the beach almost to ourselves, and snorkeling in the area was great! Convenient location with a rental car
4.8
The condo is perfectly located centrally to everything. Half way to Rumpoint and half way to north Westbay with George Town being even closer. Only 15 minutes to just about everything. There is a grocery store and great restaurants (chicken chicken and Cimboco) just 1 mile away. The beach was very private and quite. Most of the time is was just the 2 of us out on the beach. Definitely secluded. The snorkeling is just meh. Better snorkeling on north side of island. However, I did get to swim with a sea turtle just 20 yards from the shore. That was awesome. Bring your own gear though. The condo’s gear is more for smaller kids and most of the goggles were cracked or leaked water. Over-all 5 star tho for location, secluded, privacy, cleanliness and air conditioning!!!!
4.8
Loved everything about the trip and the stay!
4.8
If you want to get away from the crowds and swim with turtles, this is your place! The location was perfect for an almost private beach with awesome snorkeling. We spent a lot time on the balcony because it was just so relaxing. Since we were in the middle of the island, we were able to drive either direction with ease. I would definitely go back!
4.8
Nice and quiet private beach. Lots of fun snorkeling. beautiful view out of back porch. 30 min drive to 7 mile beach. 30 min drive to Rum Point.... so your right in the middle out of the tourist sections. Go to 7 mile beach to watch sunsets. Go to Smiths Cove for fun snorkeling. Enjoy!
4.8
I spent a considerable amount of time familiarizing myself with the island as this was my first visit. After a full assessment, this location was ideal for me and my stay. Centrally located one what I consider the most beautiful stretch of beach on the island. The locals were friendly and always willing to help. Kelly greeted me upon arrival and was right there if I had any questions or needs.
4.8
The property was great! Condo was well-equipped and in a great location and with a lovely view of a very pretty beach. It was just a few minutes from Georgetown, about half an hour to West Bay, about the same to the far East end of the island, 45 minutes to Rum Point. Snorkeling in front of the unit was okay. The snorkeling overall on GC was not as good as it was about 10 years ago, but still better than several other spots I've been to.
4.8
The condo was perfect for our family of 5. Beautiful private beach, turtles, sting rays and away from the hustle but close enough to George Town. The condo has a well stocked kitchen, 8 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, 2 snorkel sets, a float, boogie board, games, books and lots of suggestions in the guest book. We also enjoyed the pool in the afternoon, but there is no shade there. The balcony is wonderful but no screen so the bugs come out in the evening. All stores and restaurants convert to USD and I assume you can get a better exchange rate if you brought Cayman dollars from home. Be sure to explore the island- everything is so accessible and easy to get to from the condo.
4.8
The location was perfect for us as we wanted to explore the entire island and this gave a very convenient, central base. The bustle of Georgetown was only minutes away but this area felt more rural and was really the gateway to the whole east end of the island. The view and the beach were wonderful- a perfect place to relax on the sand in the shade of palm trees or swim in the warm waters. Our only minor complaint would be that the bathtub fawcets felt like they were going to fall off and the shower diverter didn't work well.
4.8
Every day, we woke up, went straight to the balcony with coffee in hand, and absorbed the sound of the ocean and the trees.
Then we'd grab gear and go snorkeling with the turtles, an occasional ray and quite a few fish! Every day!
It on the Spotts Beach and basically your private beach.
Great rooms, good kitchen, position geographically with access to the 7 mile beach or Rum Point - if you're searching for another beach, or if you go to the Crystal Caves, which we did and they were great!
4.8
We had been to the Caymans in 2019 and stayed in another unit at CBV. On that visit we enjoyed many of the more touristy things on the island. This time to celebrate our retirement, we just wanted to relax on the beautiful beach and enjoy the snorkeling and sunsets.
4.8
We had a great stay at this property! Easy to make the arrangements and property manager was very helpful and responsive. Great location on the island and excellent sand beach for snorkeling. Wish we had more than a week!

This condo was a perfect size for the 4 of us. The beach is gorgeous. We swam with sea turtles right off the beach. However, I wish they had more beach chairs. Sometimes it was hard to get 4 chairs.
4.8
Location was in the middle for us of attractions and things we wanted to accomplish. Did not ever meet the property manager as we could not use the WhatsApp app and we only could communicate through email but that was not ideal for her. so we do feel like we missed out on some opportunities a local would have been able to inform us about. However we had a good time anyway. We purchased 2 sets of snorkel and mask and left them for future guests to use so hopefully they will still be there as they are expensive to purchase and renting them is not close by but about a 15 min. drive (unless morning rush hour then it is longer to drive) and you can only rent daily so if you want the most use you will need to get to eden rock diving rentals in Georgetown early ( 8 am open) as you must return by 5pm so driving there twice a day to get and return is not ideal. I highly recommend wearing water shoes as some sharp coral and other shell objects can hurt if stepped on. Saw some turtles and fish snorkeling in water. even saw live conch shells which you cannot take (live ones) but awesome to see in the water. bring your own shampoo and soap for the shower. Grocery stores are closed on Sundays which we were not aware of so purchase foods before that. ( no food items were found in the condo left by others not even condiments like ketchup, or salt & pepper- only some coffee was left.) Hurley's grocery store is great as it has a salad bar, hot food item bar to purchase for quick meals. Foster's grocery store is a 4 min. drive. We enjoyed Cimboco restaurant for breakfast and Dinner and is also a 4 min. drive. Eating out can get expensive if you do not have cayman $. US $ is less desirable and prices are in cayman $ so it is more expensive than what you see listed when you get your bill and most restaurants automatically charge 15% tip even if 1 person in party so pay attention to that as well. we used Marshall's rental car company and the car was kind of crappy but got us around and cheaper than other places. in/out of the airport was a breeze. if you want cayman $ it is easiest to go to a grocery store to purchase an item and they only have cayman $ to give you as change. Most banks do not do currency exchange which we found odd after going to the 3rd one and they would not do it. A officer at the last bank we tried told us the grocery store tip. Camana Bay has a great Italian restaurant called Pane & Pasta I recommend and a great pastry place across from it.

Enjoyed pleasant interior and amenities, especially the availability of a cell phone for our use. A great surprise.

Excellent in many ways, location for snorkeling, extremely helpful management , well equipped and comfortable condo, and very fair price.
Thanks, I will be back!
