Enjoy bayfront living at this incredible stilted home. Spend relaxing days lounging on the private dock and soaking up the sun. This property is located in the sound, at the far end of the island where you will see the magnificent sunsets in the evening. Take a leisurely stroll to the beach - public access is just four minutes down the road. During the early morning, you may even see the happy schools of dolphins feeding. Fishing and crabbing is bountiful off the floating dock at higher tides.

Rinse off in the convenient outdoor shower when you return and continue the fun at home. Ample outdoor space includes a covered patio and a bayfront screened porch with ample seating, alfresco dining, and a ceiling fan.

Inside, an inviting living area offers a TV for entertainment. A kids’ playhouse adds a thoughtful touch for your little ones (no adults, please). Find everything you need to prepare tasty home-cooked meals. The sleek modern kitchen is outfitted with a full suite of appliances.

Five well-appointed bedrooms are spread across two levels. Accessible via a spiral staircase, the "Crow's Nest" creates an intimate perch with panoramic sunsets and views of the marina, Big Bay Creek, and the ocean.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This was the perfect home for our stay. I had family in from 4 states to celebrate my retirement. Having the dock was such a bonus, we fished, paddled and hung out there. The set up was great, a large table for meals and an island for serving. I’ve never rented a home that provided so much as far as toiletries, hand soaps, cleaning supplies etc. They provided a new grate on the charcoalgrill which we used several nights. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, glasses to use. Both a regular and a K-cup coffee maker on the coffee/drink bar. A perfect spot. Would rent again.

If you are looking for a home to sleep in at the beach this one works. It has all the basics, but nothing more. The outdoor lighting is really great, making it easy to navigate at night. The dock is awesome. There’s only water in the small inlet at high tide; otherwise, your boat will sit in the mud, but it’s perfect for a Jon boat. The house’s dog friendly touches are nice with a little fenced dog area at the bottom of the back stairs. The home itself though is in need of some TLC. The 2 overstuffed chairs in the main living room are so dirty with a general brown coating of dirt and spill stains on them that we did not feel comfortable using them. It’s a small living area, so that’s one of the main seating options unfortunately. The kitchen microwave clock is broken, and while the kitchen has all the basics there is nothing extra. No glass wine glasses. Only a Keurig; the traditional pot coffee maker was broken which would have been nice for a group. Also, the back door is in need of repair. This house also still uses a physical key which is a bit of an annoyance although not a big deal. Overall, my family had a nice trip there, but we wouldn’t rent this home again.

It was nice to escape from the rest of the world. I was able to work on the wifi without issues while my husband tried to fish off the dock. We were also able to walk to the beach and use our bikes to explore the rest of the island on the bike trail. The location is really the best of both worlds. The local team was super helpful while we were there as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

We loved house- the dock out back, a few minutes walk to beach, comfortable beds, little playroom that the kids loved, etc. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was due to a few SMALL things-a couple of the bedroom doors wouldn’t latch, rather thin towels, and no garbage disposer. But we liked the house enough that we will probably come again!

Wonderful large home with so many private bedrooms with excellent beds. Linens are provided and the beds are made when you arrive. We also had plenty of towels. Kitchen is perfect with very nice appliances and plenty of space to seat several people for meals. Lots of dishes, pots and pans. There is a separate coffee bar with drip coffee maker. Beautiful tidal marsh was fun for bird watching but we didn’t catch any fish from it. We plan to stay here again in the future. Very close to beach access 36 and the island bike path.

The house was amazing down to every last detail. If I had just one complaint it would be that we had to leave. Great fishing off of the dock and location was absolutely perfect. Minutes from everything Edisto beach has to offer.

Thanks be to God when he created Edisto Beach. This is an amazing home. It has everything you need and more. We have been coming to Edisto Beach for years. We usually rent front beach or second row. This place is amazing location is amazing. We have already booked for next year. We plan to make this our permanent beach rental. We had the opportunity to rent a golf cart and was able to ride the beautiful creations that God created. Beach access was very convenient. Loved the property and proximity to the beach, 3 minute walk! Great family home with plenty of space. 4 adult couples and two toddlers. Play room an extra bonus. The girls loved it! The weather was not so great so the screened in porch and covered parking court enabled us to still enjoy the outdoors. We will be back!

I decided to take my 84yo mother on a business trip last minute and then extended it to rent a house where our family could join us. The rooms were great. The screened in porch was delightful. The dock was big enough for all of us to sit and talk. The walk to the beach was short. The outside shower room was very helpful. Check in was an absolute breeze as was check out. We will be back!!!

We enjoyed the house and the water view very much. Quick walk to the beach. Children enjoyed the playroom off the porch and the views from hawks nest. We had some trouble finding certain channels on TV. A channel guide might help future guests. We all enjoyed it! Nice house and relaxing weekend stay. Thank you!!

This house is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of rooms but it is also very cozy. The views from the crows nest are stunning. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

The house is in a great location with beautiful views. It was very clean upon arrival and suited our large family extremely well. There were 2 negatives for us. The carpet is stained because it’s a pet friendly house (wish there were hardwoods throughout for this reason). The large mirror above the sofa fell on my son-in-law’s head resulting in injury. Accidents happen, but this one could have been prevented. The mirror was hung on a small picture hook with a small nail. Fortunately, it did not fall on a child’s head because the weight of the mirror would have caused serious harm. The most unfortunate part of the accident is that I never received a call back from the local rental office after I was promised one. (I called to inform them of the accident and was told the manager would call back.) My rating for the home is not reflected by this lack of customer service, but the homeowners should be aware of this.

We had a wonderful time at the Blue Pelican. The house is in great shape and very homey. It also has a very well equipped kitchen. It’s only a five minute walk to the next beach entrance. We will definitely come back. Vacasa has been very helpful and attentive.

Great location on a lagoon and near the beach. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of plates, cups, silverware and nice set of starter supplies. If we're in the area again with a large group, we will definitely stay here again.

The house was well furnished and extremely well kept. Perfect location for launching kayaks. A short distance from the sound and s quick golf cart ride to the waves. The section under the home was excellent for hanging out and relaxing …plenty of outdoor furniture
