Come and discover Bwthyn Y Bwlch, which is set in a truly beautiful spot on the edge of the picture postcard city of St Davids. Accessed through a wonderful archway, this detached architect-designed home offers lots of space throughout and boasts a private sauna. From the moment you enter Bwthyn Y Bwlch you feel relaxed and can immerse yourself in comfort and quality; each room is flooded with natural light from the large windows which also offer distant sea view from the first floor. Both floors offer a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area which is ideal for larger families. On the ground floor, the living room has been finished to a high standard where you can enjoy a good book in front of the focal wood burner or head through the French doors to your private patio area to dine al fresco. The well-equipped, solid oak kitchen has granite worktops offering a luxurious finish and is ideal for cooking that special meal. Each bedroom has been lovingly furnished with comfort in mind to ensure a good night’s sleep.
Enjoyed by family and friends alike, this location offers it all - you can enjoy a morning stroll into the heart of St Davids and explore this thriving ancient village city with its charming collection of shops, galleries, bars and restaurants. Don’t miss the country market on a Thursday between April and September. At the top of the High Street in Oriel y Parc, you will find lots of information about the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, useful maps and guidebooks as well as an art gallery and cafe serving breakfast and lunch.
Travelling north, you will uncover the fishing village of Porthgain and a delightful restaurant which specialises in local freshly caught sea fish, and overlooks the harbour, a delightful setting or travel south along this picture postcard coastline to Little Haven and then on to tranquil St. Brides, complete with crystal clear water and great diving, kayaking or fishing. Continue on to Dale at the far south west point of Pembrokeshire, and along the magnificent and dramatic coastline is Martin’s Haven where you will discover Lockley Lodge Visitor Centre, which is the gateway to the islands of Skomer and Skokholm. This really is a wildlife haven and is well-known for puffins, gannets, razorbills and, of course, grey seals and dolphins. Oakwood, Wales’ largest theme park, is a fun day out for all the family, and located only 40 minutes away, or for those with younger families, be sure to visit Folly Farm Zoo where you can see rhinos, giraffes and even lions! Beach 900 yards.
