We enjoyed staying here in Lyle. It is relatively close to Hood River and things to do on the Washington side. The stairs are steep but not a problem since you can drop people off on the other side of the house. The house was nice and clean and the kitchen held some spices if you needed them.
4.7
Clean, well equipped and easy living! The view from the deck makes this property.
4.7
We loved staying here! The big deck and the living room were relaxing. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and well decorated. It was great!
4.7
Sitting on the deck of this immaculate house with a cup of coffee in the mornings, we were treated to a hummingbird. an osprey, and a wonderful view of the Columbia River. What a pleasant way to greet the morning!
4.7
The home and view are top rate. Parking is challenging and the extensive deck needs work to secure multiple planks.

What a wonderful place to stay to relax at the Columbia River Gorge. We stayed 5 nights and where thrilled by the location and the house with a fully equipped kitchen and this large veranda you could sit endlessly to enjoy the view. The beds were ok and the bathroom was good.. the communication with the agent was easy and proactive. Air I was ver effective. The noise from I 84 is not a problem , neither the trains. We slept well at night.
In the serious a shelf rather than hangers would be nice.

The view was the crown of our comfy, temporary home with dear family. Cleanliness and amenities exceed our expectations. A sweet treat for weary traveler's to rest.

Beautiful views, convenient location, quiet neighborhood. Great launching point for many activities. Waterfalls to the west, Mt Hood to the south, and wineries everywhere in between. The house is bright and cheery and the kitchen has just about everything you could possibly need. Bathrooms are nicely renovated and beds are comfy after a long day. The pergola on the deck is a lovely addition. Perfect place for what we were looking for, R&R.
4.7
House was super nice and very clean. There were only 2 of us but the house would be great for a large group. Beautiful views from the deck.
4.7
Point Lyle was such a nice sunny place to meet friends. The house was older but was so well updated and furnished. The deck overlooking the river is absolutely enormous. Plenty of room for entertaining. Also, the kitchen was well equipped but still had plenty room to stash our food.

This is a lovely home that my wife and I enjoyed staying in very much. Upon initial inspection the place was very clean, with no odors, and immediately felt both welcoming and comfortable. There was some damage to the wood around the front door lock that looked like it had been repaired with screws and similar damage to the main bathroom door that was not repaired. This initially made us feel a little uneasy, especially coming from a big city, but was quickly forgotten. The beautiful kitchen had a lot of counter space with plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware. Dining table could easily sit 6 people. Bathrooms were spotless with fresh linens and complimentary essentials. The shower converter in the main bathroom did not seal well causing water to gush from the faucet while using the shower head, which did lead to the hot water running out more quickly. Bedrooms were also very clean with fresh linen. Mattresses were defintely on the firm side, but we still slept comfortably on the one we used. The living room was spacious and had large windows with great views. We never got a chance to use the pellet stove, but everything looked in working order. The large deck had even better views with plenty of seating options. We tried using the table umbrella on a extremely sunny day, but found it was cracked at the joint that bends, which didn't feel safe. The laundry had free & clear detergent which we really appreciated. The washing machine only works in "heavy duty" mode, so don't expect to wash delicate items during your stay. There were several emergency flashlights, a fire extinguisher, as well smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. The A/C was easy to use with clear instructions. Wifi was both strong and fast. There was an assortment of board games and dvds, but would suggest bringing a streaming stick for the nights you just want to stay in. The driveway is steep and there are quite few stairs, but both are easy to navigate with caution. The local town is small and quiet, with a little convenience store, and a couple places for food. We mainly went shopping and out to eat in nearby Hood River and White Salmon. Overall, we had an amazing time. If you are looking for a place away from the hustle and bustle with gorgeous views, this is the place for you. There are only minor things keeping this from being a perfect 5 stars, and I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect for quick jaunts to White Salmon and Hood River. We will be back!

Very nice home to stay in

overall great. clean and well stocked.

Nice place. Older house but modern updated kitchen/bathrooms. Really well-stocked kitchen supplies. Amazing views. They have added a tv to the living room, and some streaming was available to us without our own devices. No music player except a 'home pod' device of some kind we didn't know how to use. Steep driveways a bit tricky, and lots of stairs to front door. Great walking trails up bluffs just a block down the street. Was unsettled to find mouse live-traps in closet, which they claim were forgotten about since some repairs in the summer. Otherwise very clean. Mostly fragrance-free, which I appreciate. Couch had some spots/stains that made it seem dingy compared to the modern table/chairs. Deck is huge, but kind of old, and sitting outside wasn't super quiet due to freeway traffic (across the river mostly) and some train noise--but these could not be heard inside. Big sky for star-watching.

This house is very nice, and has everything you need for a stay. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were great. The house was very clean. there was a TV in the living room, and one in the master bedroom (DVDs only). there are some rather steep steps to get into the front door. The only thing i did not love about this place was Lyle itself. Its a very small town, and there was not a place to eat dinner. We had to drive into White Salmon for dinner (about 10 minutes). Great view. several blocks away from the Klickitat trail. One day we drove east into Goldendale and went to Maryhill winery, which was very beautiful.

We had a delightful time at this lovely house. It is so comfortable and easy to use.
One challenge was navigating the driveway as it is steep and things were a bit slippery with the snow. But everything else was perfect!

Home had been remodeled with some nice products, but master bedroom shower was very small. Towels were in the dryer when we arrived. Towels in both bathrooms were damp. A/C - heat register covers were not attached. So, if you accidentally kicked one, your foot & lower leg could fall into the ductwork. Deck was very large with awesome views of the Columbia River, but both it and the stairs from the parking area to the front door need to be painted.

Everything was clean and as expected. The view was great!

We were here for four nights visiting family in Lyle. Our stay at the Point Lyle rental was wonderful. The home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay and the hosts were friendly and welcoming . The location was convenient, centrally located between Hood River/White Salmon and The Dalles, and the view front the patio was absolutely beautiful. It rained a lot during our stay so we didn’t get to spend much time outside but the large windows in the living room allowed us to still enjoy the scenery. I would 100% stay here again in the future!
4.7
This home was beautifully remodeled with all the amenities. And, there are no words to describe the breathtaking views of the Columbia Gorge from the large wrap around deck. Each evening we enjoyed watching the wind surfers/kite boarders from the deck & then waited for the most incredible sunsets. The Washington side of the gorge is the way to go. If ever back in the area we would definitely stay here again!
4.7
We had a great stay! The view and sunsets were amazing! The only issue we had was the back quest room had an order kind of like the septic tank was full. We just opened the window and it was much better, but something that you all might want to checked out! Very clean and quiet other than that.. still gave 5 star because it was a great place to stay and would rent again..

Place has a mice problem droppings and caught in trap. Other than that it was good

Wonderful place to enjoy the sunset and take in all the natural beauty of the gorge.
House was clean and spacious. Would stay here again and highly recommend :)

This home has amazing views, and we enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen is well-stocked and beds were comfortable. A Tv has been added to the living room.

Better than expected! Very clean and comfortable with fantastic view. Will definitely be back!

The drive in and view are incredible!!! The home is very quiet and peaceful. Beds were all comfy and clean. Some things that needed a little attention: Couch was a bit on the dingy side as was the chair in the corner. Also noticed wall under the bar area needed a refresh. Fans were dusty and windows needed a little cleaning. As noted in the description, only tv is in the Master which is great if you need to unplug and have conversations instead of TV. Sometimes we don't realize how truly needed this is until we are forced to have it. All in all, a great vacation!!!

We were in town for a 50th wedding anniversary. The first night was good, but the next day when we got home from family events the AC unit wasn’t working. We noticed the sign stating to keep AC at designated temp, so we didn’t mess with it. We called the emergency maintenance line but there was no answer and no return call.
That night it was 87 degrees inside. Next day unit still wasn’t working and we had to leave for more events. When we returned I emailed Arrived of the situation (still never received response) we phoned emergency line again, was in hold for 20min and finally spoke with a woman who got in touch with someone who said they were going to remotely turn AC off for a bit then turn back on. She said they would also send someone out the next morning, however we were checking out the next morning. This night it was 88 degrees inside.
We noticed the AC unit did get turned off but never turned back on. Someone called the next morning around 9am but we were getting ready to leave as check out is 11am.
Both nights were awful as it was too hot to sleep for myself, my fiancé and my fiancés mother.
I’ve been hoping I would have a response from Arrived but that did not happen so now I am complaining as it’s completely unexceptable to, 1. Not be able to get ahold of someone in emergency maintenance, and 2. To not get a response, apology or any action from property management to make this right.
I would like to know how I can request a partial refund.
4.7
Everything was lovely except the house was so hot for our first night!!! Suggest some better sun blocking around the deck or windows.
4.7
This home exceeded our expectations! The home is a short drive from Hood River, has amazing views, and is clean and updated. Kitchen and bathrooms are great. The huge deck has lots of seating options and the inside midcentury decor is fantastic. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again someday.
