I liked the hotel. It's kitchy, but kind of old. For instance, the bathroom was a mix of olf and new. The rooms don't have a refrigerator, which would be nice. Biggest issue was there was only one working elevator. That's not sufficient for a hotel with a popular public bar on the top floor.
Also, I stayed here for the convenience of having the light rail across the street. But, the U-district is really not a nice neighborhood to walk around at night.

nice enough hotel, thin walls, no fridge, ice machine broken, no remote in room for TV, remote delivered but employee not able to pair it to the TV and just left leaving it broken., rented 2 rooms, TV in second room didn't work either. one Elevator broken also creating back ups. expected more from A big name hotel

Room was a little bit chilly even when cranking up the heat. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Room was comfortable. Workout room was good size. Did not have red coffee in the room. Charged way too much for parking.

I like this hotel. The beds are really comfortable, and the location is solid. I love the Mountaineering Club and the food vouchers for either breakfast in the cafe or food/drink up on the roof is a nice bonus. Hip and fun for when you aren’t working!

This hotel is beautifully decorated and has a fun theme. The lobby is gorgeous and comfortable, especially the fireplace! The service is slow - I waited 12 minutes for someone to return to the counter and check me in. But the cleaning staff and valet were super friendly and helpful. The desk and chair were not comfortable but fortunately the lobby had great work areas. I would stay here again for a short weekend trip but it is not ideal for a longer business trip.

The hotel property itself was good but the guest rooms were outdated and not very clean, specifically the bathrooms.

Decent hotel, good location for the Neptune theatre. I seen 2 bands in two days and it was great being across the street from the venue!

Double room felt crowded. Have to set up fridge before stay otherwise none offered. TV did not work and no resolution until next day.

This is the second time I've stayed here and it's been more than pleasant each time.

the rooms were great - loved having the sofa - plenty of space - enjoyed the gym everyday!!!

Great firm bed and view of the city. Hopefully, now that it is a Hilton property, they will improve the bathroom toiletries and add in room coffee makers. Or offer complimentary coffee in the lobby in the early morning hours. We had terrible service at the attached coffee shop during our 3 night stay and it didn’t open on our last day until after we had to leave for an early morning flight. Disappointing in the city of coffee. And the neighborhood is too sketchy to go walking around to look for coffee.

I enjoyed my time just fine. The room was not super clean and the walls are VERY thin. The bar was closed the whole time we were there. It’s very easy to get to the hotel off of the light rail.

The art work in the room was unique and fun. The bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for the event I attended at the Neptune Theatre. There was a couple of disappointments: the first being 2 dirty pillow cases, 3 out of the 6 towels were dirty or stained badly, the rug was dirty, and at 9:30am someone tried to come into my room while I was laying on the bed checking my phone. I was fully awake when some staff tried opening my door only to be met with seeing me in the room still and the chain lock on the door. Makes me wonder if the staff go into the rooms all the time.

I loved the decor, not like any other hotel room I have ever seen. It was as though Joanna Gains had designed it. Bed was very comfortable; room was very comfortable with sofas and chairs. My only complaint is that there wasn't an onsite restaurant open in the evening, just a bar which we were denied entry because it was too full of college students. We got in late and we were hungry and had to walk around the area to find something to eat. Also the body wash dispenser was empty.

So, location great for subway use, a short block from the subway. Noisy (every door shutting and the laundry room was on our 2nd floor and had audible dryers) , bizarre shower fixture which hit you every time with the metal shower hose (weird thing to point out, I know, but why anyone would buy these for, likely, every room on their hotel makes no sense, and, of course, no fridge or microwave. It’s 2024, folks. Even if you’re going for a dorm room aesthetic, EVERY dorm room now has a mini fridge and microwave. Nice staff and great rooftop bar, but, overall, underwhelmed.

For a four star hotel it had very limited amenities and the hotel room is in dire need of a refurbish/remodel. The rug was patchy, stained, and torn, there were large unsightly patches of ceiling that looked like they’d sustained water damage, and the furniture looked worn. The window was nice and I liked the floors but that was about it.

Tv in the room didn’t turn on. No parking. No coffee in the room.

My brother, Daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Graduate. We found it to be extremely convenient to the rail service which we took to and from the airport. Also, the restaurant upstairs was a great place for our family (from Seattle) to gather with us.
Will stay here again if the need arises.

Loved the character and quirkiness of the rooms. Upon arrival our TV didn’t work so the host was very gracious and moved us to another room. Comfy seating, the ability to open a window, and decent bath facilities were appreciated, and LOVED the rooftop views from the restaurant. Also loved that so much was kept original to the building vs. being heavily modernized. In-room dining options were non-existent, however, and made it difficult to eat on a budget. No fridge or microwave, and no coffeemaker. The electric teapot and instant coffee was okay, but didn’t go with the otherwise cozy, comfy, relaxing vibe we were in need of. Neat place, though, and fun if one knows what to expect.

We loved the vibe here. Cool decor, great views from the rooftop, and right next to the train station. U District had a few cute stores nearby, casual eats, and was convenient to Freemont and Gasworks Park to the right. Going South on the train we could easily get to Capital Hill or Downtown within 25 minutes. A bit far out but you can beat the price. And the rooms were big!

I loved the student vibe in the hotel decor; the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast restaurant fare excellent, but as a hotels.com gold member, I should have received a free bottle of wine. I had to ask about it, and when I did, I was told their wine was “backlogged” and they didn’t have any for us. How could this be? False advertising and extremely off putting.

Really cool, vintage vibe. Unique.

Cute property but the transition to being run by Hilton happened while we stayed there and it was rough.

Love the collegial atmosphere

The area around the hotel is not the nicest and feels a little unsafe. The rooms were clean but we did notice a few areas that could have been cleaned more thoroughly. It felt expensive for what you actually got which was a very basic room.

We enjoyed the overall ambiance as well as the late night rooftop access-the views were fantastic!

Love the concept of hotel. It was hot in Seattle and their AC was weak- luckily we could open window at night

The hotel and hotel staff were outstanding. The views of the city were great. The price of parking should be included as there is ko where else to park.

We loved this hotel. We travelled as a family and they were so welcoming to our 4 year old son. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. We’d stay here again for sure.

Charging $44/night for parking when there are no alternatives near by will keep me from ever staying at another graduate hotel. And the water flow in the shower was horrible.

no desk chair

Only issues were the door to our room was really difficult to open and the 2 elevators are very slow. Hotel was clean and well kept. Outside the hotel, city area was not kept up well.
