Spent one evening at the Providence Hilton with my parents and sister. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was great. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, though we did have to call the front desk multiple times to resolve issues (including having to move my parents to a new room as their heat didn't work). Despite the inconveniences I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Providence.

Well first off I said no to things for children because I have none. The stay was great, however the buffet could be a little cheaper.
I was glad the hotel was extremely close to the convention center, so I will most likely book with you again for next year.

We booked through hotels.com and at 10pm, with two little kids in tow, we were told they were overbooked and didn’t have a room for ur. The woman at the desk was very nice but didn’t have any options for us.

The stay was fine nothing special. The last day we were there on return from the conference we noticed our door was tampered with. It looked like someone tried to get into the room the paint on door and door frame was scratched off and looked as though a crowbar was used. We told the housekeeper who said she was going to call someone but never had anyone come to the room. On check out I told the person at the front desk and they were not concerned or apologetic. It was almost like this was a usual occurrence. I never was never contacted by anyone from the hotel. I don’t believe I’m missing anything but made me feel unsafe to think the employees feel that this is nothing. I felt a bit violated even though I wasn’t missing anything. The hotel isn’t locked at night. And elevator doesn’t need a key to go to room. I will not be returning.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable (great pillows). The staff were very friendly. The location was great—within walking distance of downtown, and felt safe (even when walking back from a concert by myself after midnight).

Stayed here two nights and it was very nice. The staff were wonderful, and the location is great. Reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it is time for an upgrade. Room was clean but outdated. There was no mini fridge in the room.

No fridge in room. Bathroom door broken. Bed was hard.

There were two water bottles in the room, but cost $3. Got thirsty in the middle of the night and upset that it cost so much and not just given to us for free if it's there.

Hotel wasn’t the best. They made me pay for parking when some nights their access cards to the garage was not functioning at all and access to the room was not working so I had to keep going back to remedy the issue very inconveniencing. The air/heat in my room wasn’t not functioning and generally I would let this good but wasn’t a good experience. I stayed at other Hilton locations so it might just be this one. Some of their in-house support staff are rude . Don’t think I’ll return here or recommend this for future use of conference events if they do that. 4/10

Location of this property is great but parking is overpriced. Condition did not work well and also we had an issue with a shower faucet.

Very nice clean rooms, good quality bedding. Convenient location. On the negative side, the walls could you a bit of soundproofing. However this was a very minor issue. Overall a very comfortable stay and definitely recommend for a stay.

We really enjoyed the architecture and location of the hotel. Upon check-in, we really appreciated the customer service of staff, especially how they dealt with drunken middle-aged men who interrupted our check-in as they got stuck in the revolving door then proceeded to behave like rowdy drunks in the lobby. The condition of the hotel is a bit shabby, which is why we only gave four stars. Also, the over-priced breakfast buffet is very similar to a continental breakfast included in the cost of lower-end hotels. However, the staff is so nice, breakfast was at least pleasant. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have experienced in years, and the room accessories and view were really nice. All of the basics of the room were nice (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, towels). There was an ice bucket, with no ice vending on our floor, which seemed odd and resulted in using room temperature water, but the room cooled off nicely once we readied for bed. Overall, a positive experience and stay.

The stay was fairly good, but I was disappointed that the additional fee for parking was not made known, and that the staff did not seem very friendly.

I liked how clean and cozy the hotel was. The service from hotel staff was excellent and they were helpful. Only con was there should be a mini fridge in the hotel. It was difficult having beverages in the room and not being able to bring leftovers from restaurants because of it.

Hotel is definitely conveniently located. The hotel inside is quite dated. When you exit the elevator, the smell on the floor is of a hotel that has been serving customers for very long time. The hotel is clean no complaints, but you can definitely tell that it’s due for refresh. The hotel room itself also has a smell of being used for many many years. Bathroom, clean towels, clean shampoo, conditioner everything is good. Water temperature no problem for the shower and toilets flushed. Four pillows on the bed, made it easy to find a pillow position that worked and sleep was good. Overall, a solid place to stay three stars.
