Hotel was good and quiet

Seriously...better than staying at the Hilton where we were a week before. It's simple, but really does work as a space and staff were great. Its NOT a 4 or 5 star hotel, but has no pretensions of being so. Great value

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Club Fiji in a Bure. The bed was comfortable and the linen was beautifully soft. The location was lovely, right on the beach and very quiet. It is a little further out but it depends on what you’re after. Two restaurants in site and plenty of activities (2 pools, spa, kayaks, pool table and many other things).
I feel this place has received a bad wrap from many reviewers and some people just have too many first time world problems. For the price, it was excellent.

We came in from out flight around 8pm and left 7:30am, so didn't really get to enjoy the facilities. We had limited food options for dinner (Choose 1 of 3 bbque meats & salad bar). Food was OK, but we were grateful it was at least still open. Breakfast was not open yet when we left for the ferry at 7:30am. From the sign, it looked like they had reasonable options for transit to various places direct from the resort, which would be great, as you wouldn't want to be walking anywhere from this resort. The Beachfront Bure (slept 6) on the beach was older and wood (but clean), but accommodation cost was very reasonable in comparison to everywhere else we stayed - and you are really going there to step directly out onto the beach which was fantastic. Would be a great family beach vacation, especially with the kitchenette.

Shower, bed too bad. Staff very poor not helpfull.

Great staff and service. We felt very safe throughout our stay, and even the kids could play outside by themselves. The pool was nice, too.
However, the food was quite average. We booked accommodation with breakfast included, but it was just bread and scrambled eggs every morning, with no other options nearby. We had to get food from Club Fiji, which was very expensive. For example, one night we bought tacos, and a single small taco was $29.
The consistency of the food and service could be improved. Some days we received towels and shampoo/conditioner, while on other days, we didn’t. Similarly, some days the cocktails were perfect, and other days the mixture was completely off.
Overall, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive, which made the stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful grounds, very peaceful, safe and child friendly! Great staff! We will come here again for sure!

Club Fiji is a nice mainland resort to hang in for a day or two to relax. A little detached from other resorts and facilities, everything is contained at the resort. The staff do well to make guests happy, organising taxis and transfers to the port nearby, or day tours for those looking for something to do. The dorm and bar and dinners are excellent value, I’d recommend a couple of nights here over other resorts in the area, but don’t waste too much time here!

Club Fiji was value for money in terms of accommodation, and the staff were reasonably friendly.
There was a limited menu for dinner, and it was expensive.

Very relaxing and only negative was terrible road access. Definitely would stay here again.

I had asked if the property was accesible and time and again the online response was yes you were when ckearly you are not. Ptoperty was not what it was made to look like it was. Lack of sufficient towels. Breakfast was very limited. Few staff that didnt treat us like guests since looked like the locals.
List goes on.

The location seemed nice and the images on the website showed a reasonably modern facility. However those look are deceiving. When we got there I found 3 cockroaches in our room and the surfaces were all grimy. The toilet paper was the most budget I have ever seen. At 7am the generator turned on right next to our head. Staff were not friendly at all and not helpful. Breakfast bar looked unsafe so we couldn’t really east any food. They don’t answer the phone. On the way out we realised there was a crematorium right next door which just made things even worse.
I would not go back and would not suggest this location to anyone.

Although the grounds were beautiful, it was a mistake to upgrade to a beach front Bure that had no towels, not even hand or face towels. No WiFi in the room as was posted. No flat screen tv as was posted. The sink had 2 taps, one for cold water and one for boiling hot water.

We booked the hut. Room was close to a shallow but long beach and the resort was beautiful with huge beach front and great services offered. The room was dusty. Wild dogs sometimes ran across the beach into the resort. Nothing around the resort so will have to take taxis everywhere. Food took an average of 45min to get to the table. BYO sunscreen as it cost 60 FJD for a small bottle.

Nice place next to the beach. Charges sent to your room, so you can drink at the bar and not worry until the end. Staff are friendly and helpful.

My brother and I stayed at Club Fiji Resort for a total of 3-nights from July 25-28. Overall our experience was great and we enjoyed the location of being on the beach. We also loved our Garden Bure Room (felt like we were actually staying on a small island) and the spaciousness that it offered. I did like how many amenity options there were along with the tours/excursions offered. I got a 30-minute head massage that was absolutely incredible. The only problems we had during our stay were with the restaurant service. Look I completely understand "Island Time" and how things often aren't performed at a fast pace...but there were times I questioned why certain employees were employed. For example, one of the dinners we ate at the restaurant within the main lobby, our server had to ask 5 times what we ordered to remind the kitchen. Why she didn't write down the order I have no idea.
Anyways, staying at Club Fiji is the best bang for your buck because of the cool location, great amenities offered, and very affordable price. If I was to come back and stay in Nadi I would look for here as an option.

Great staff and value. The room has no glass covering the windows and the screen for the bugs are not connected to the walls well so plenty of bugs fly right in and bite you at night. Smoke from their bonfires at night tend to irritate fill your room at night because there is no glass on the windows. Better be cool driving past an open air crematorium too. Just a pile of wood and a burning body next to the road. Locals told me they release some of the ash into the water right next to the resort, so keep in mind when swimming.

Friendly, simple, very relaxing, quiet, no fuss kind of place. Would definitely stay again.

I had heard mixed reviews about the resort and I have to say that I was very pleased with everything. It was just an overnight stay for me. The dorm was very clean and comfortable and I like the fact that there are just 2 bunks in each unit in the dormitory. Perfect size lockers for a medium case and a extra bag with room to spare too and they take away any security issues that you sometimes have in other resorts with dorms.

The staff were friendly and all worked hard to make sure the grounds and rooms were clean and tidy.
The Bure we stayed in could do with updating however it was quite comfortable and clean. Only bad thing about it was that you could hear everything outside and in the room next door.
You need to catch a taxi to get anywhere so I recommend only using the taxis from the resort.
The food was okay.

Was a bit sceptical after reading a few reviews about this place but I can personally advise that this place is fantastic. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming. They are willing to help however they can. The onsite restaurant was fantastic. We dined on Tuesday and enjoyed the taco night and live music and then on Wednesday we enjoyed the local performances with a nicely cooked steak. This resort is perfectly stationed, it is located about 10-15 mins from the airport and about 10 minutes from Denarau if you are in the mood to go shopping or head out to the islands. Will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Fiji.

Very nice people staying there very nice people working there. I did get a little tired of the same food, but was able to easily go to town with their personnel Club Fiji drivers. Also loved going there in the past because of the massages, but the masseuse was out and they didn’t have a replacement so I definitely missed out on that

Every thing seem to be fine.
Issue with accessability. Also having just key card for the room was a major issue. I another stay coming up which i might change because the key card difficulty and food quality was not that good.

Very pleasant place to stay. Very relaxing. Different meals and entertainment each day. Generally the staff are very accommodating. Near airport runway so occasional plane noises. Beach is pleasant but grey sand and mud flats at low tide. Pools good.

Was very nice and relaxing rustic feel not overly touristy felt comfortable on the property could access all the facilities without feeling you had to follow some rules, relaxed and enjoyable activities in the evening very easy to dine at the restaurant and enjoy the activities

Beautiful setting, staff were lovely. Lucky we had a rental car as it was a bit isolated

Perfect location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, not too far from town and easy to get a taxi. The staff were amazing at recommending safe places to go as well as lovely staff at the bar with excellent service. Swimming pools were kept clean and tidy every time. An option for entertainment or themed dinners every night with amazing passage of information.

This place used to be the best value for money in the area but the quality has gone down hill significantly.
Breakfast buffet never actually had food, always needed to ask them to refill it. The food itself was low quality and had flies on it. I couldn’t bring myself to eat it.
Guy at the bar was super slow despite many people wanting drinks, he felt it more important to do dishes.
Lunch is only served at the pizza place for a ridiculous price for what you get.
I used to recommend this place but now I’m embarrassed. Won’t come back.

We just loved this place
28 year old couple, there were a few other young couples around.
A few dining options. It was a small place but loved it for that. I’m sure we will be back!
Got taxis to a few local spots and relaxed with some drinks from the lovely staff!

Club Fiji is great value for the price - so much cheaper than the Denerau Island resorts. It is a lovely quiet resort, we relaxed each day on beach loungers, no need to put a towel on one at 8am as plenty of places to sit, including cabanas etc. The resort is really laid back, so remember that if you are planning on coming as its not for everyone. Ideally suits couples, groups of friends etc. No kids club but a few families with small children seem to love it as so quiet and had the pools to themselves. Not ideal for school age children or teenagers IMO, as little to do outside of relax. With the money we saved on accommodation we did great day trips and nice dinners out. Food was a bit overpriced and average aT the resort but pizza was good. They didnt seem to mind BYO in the resort and one group had a big night on duty free in the outside area. Rooms good and bed super comfy. Next time i would book a Bura. Massage on the beach was great. Super close to the airport and cheap taxi ride to denerau for more dinner options. As a couple, i would definitely stay there again.

Accommodation was of 1960s standard and poorly maintained. Bathroom toilet facilities needed maintenance and defective insect screening. Actually, stung by wasp at night when in bed.
Food service areas infested with Starlings scavenging food off tables.
Poor quality mattress and bedding.
Trip hazards were numerous
A number of Staff displayed a very Poor Care Factor,

On my last night I had bad food poisoning after eating at Club Fiji. I had to get to the airport to catch my flight home at 6 am. On the shuttle to the airport was a family from NZ also suffering food poisoning. The little girl was vomiting in the shuttle, as was I once I reached the airport. Not a good farewell to Fiji.

Bed was clean but very dusty headboard we had 3 geckos in the room each night, staff weren’t helpful sometimes came across rude. Food was expensive considering it wasn’t great food either. Waited an hour for a Blt sandwich and it arrived with no lettuce. No phones to contact reception, no card machines at the bar
