Very nice hotel next to Rheinfelds Castle. Nice breakfast, good service, nice staff.

It's a magnificent hilltop castle with luxurious accommodation. But it's really reasonably priced too.
I have stayed there a few times, visiting from UK. Great weekend break.
Views are amazing.
Formal restaurant is a bit pricey. But breakfast is amazing. Highly recommended

Small but comfy rooms and bathrooms, but that is to be expected on the grounds of an actual castle. Very lovely ambience and decor. Breakfast is spectacular all around; food, service, and view. For those on foot, reaching the castle/hotel will get your blood pumping but it’s an old world charm.

Great stay. We spent all of our time in the hotel area, which really is a castle. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was great as were the views from the dining areas. Highly recommend!

Lovely view over the river from our small balcony. Comfortable room with a nice bed and two armchairs, in a villa close to the main building. Small but cosy and clean spa area. Pricey restaurant, but also a smaller taverna in this well-maintained hotel. Recommended for a shorter stay.

We were able to go to the castle the first thing in the morning and then continue on our tours of castles and wine!!!

We had the most amazing stay, in fact, the best stay in our one-month trip in Germany. Our room was in the villa and opened up to a wonderful view overlooking the Rhine. It was grand, palatial, with a high ceiling, beautifully decorated, and extremely clean. Service was excellent at reception and restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully provided, including tea n coffee making facilities, bathrobes, high quality toiletries, and even bedroom slippers. We felt pampered like royalty, and really couldn’t have asked for more.

The hotel is in good condition and all services were good. The layout of the rooms is a little disjointed but manageable. Parking was available and convenient. Our balcony view of the Rhine made the stay exceptional!

Really nice location, the view from the restaurant and terrasse is breathtaking. Room was hot and without AC but when you open the window there was a lot of wind which fixed the issue and there was no bugs. Food at the main restaurant was expensive but okay with the exception of the dessert that were to be honest bad.

Unique and beautiful property. Expensive to get back and forth from town. Their restaurant was VERY expensive too. Beautiful place, gorgeous rooms and great staff.

Best place. Great rooms, great view. Dinner was not so good, pick a less costly option in town. Overpriced and staff was stressed. Food ok. Breakfast was fantastic. Great place overall. Stayed early May.

The location of hotel Rheinfels is excellent. From this location we were able to visit the points of interest in the Mosel and Rhein valley. It is also right next to the ruins of Schloss Rheinfels which is worth visiting. The restaurant inside the hotel has a great view of the Rhein Valley. We ate there every night and had good meals and service. The breakfast was also great and offered plenty of choice. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, has good parking options both right next to the hotel and on the parking place in front of the bridge. The rooms were clean and were pleasant. I did not experience any noise within the room, although noise on the hallway can be heard within the room. Fortunately we had guests that did not make noise on the hallway. The room offered a nice view of some of the nature and buildings behind the hotel. I was happy with my stay at this hotel, and I can recommend it to others.

Stunning location and very helpful staff at front desk. Dining area fantastic views but waited over one hour for food which never arrived. Left without eating.

This place doesn’t answer their phones. We tried to call them to get cab from city and they didn’t answer. There were no cabs on street at 5pm. We had to walk and carry luggage up a hill that made my lung disease even worse. They are terrible for people who have disabilities. And have terrible evening customer service.

Beautiful location right near the Loreley. The Spa is great and so is the restaurant and breakfast. I really enjoyed it.

This is a beautiful hotel with incredible views. The split mattresses took some time to get used to, but the stay was great and we would do it again in a heartbeat. The food was fantastic and the service staff extremely helpful and friendly.

My favorite place in the world to stay. Room was very spacious and modern. A/C worked great. Restaurant for dinner was amazing, staff was friendly and very accommodating. I loved everything about this place. Castle has changed over the years. You use to have more access, but was a bit dangerous. New museum is a plus, on site souvenirs. Close to fabulous town. Great views.

Stunning views of Rhine from our rooms, the restaurants and the castle is a great tour with rich history including a small museum. Loved it!

This is my second time here. This time I had a small single room in the “attic” and it was great . I woke up to a gorgeous view Of the Rhine River . Breakfast is a perfect feast . The pool and spa are fantastic , the grounds are beautiful, and the staff is friendly and helpful .

Great views, made me think this would be a fantastic hotel.
Unfortunately it wasn't; There was no airco in the room, bathroom was tiny. Most disappointing however was the dinner in the hotel's restaurant. There was only choice between 3 main dishes. I took the soup which was coloured water without taste. And the duck, which was dry / coming from the deepfreezer probably. With no-fantasy garnish: some carrots. I was sick the next day.
Breakfast was great.....
Sorry for the fantastic environment, the hotel/restaurant is not worth it....

What a great find! The hotel is awesome and overlooks the Rhine. The rooms are nice and comfortable with everything you would need for a short stay. The restaurant was very nice and the views were amazing. We love the Schönburg Castle Hotel in Oberwesel, it was nice finding this one so close by.

We stayed here for two nights and it was beautiful! Our room had an incredible view of the Rhein and we loved waking up to the sunrise over the valley. The majority of the staff also spoke English, which was very helpful for us, especially when we visited the restaurant for dinner. I will warn guests that there are a number of stairs, so make sure you keep that in mind when booking.

When I got the room little did I know the hotel was actually part of the castle. Magnificent views and amenities although the rooms themselves are a little antiquated. Don't let that steer you away from the fantastic location!
