Excellent facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Hilton Honours app key entry and check out is super convenient. Thank you.

Wonderful hotel

Comfortable hotel close to venue we were attending.
Had a dirty towel in my room on arrival.
Staff were not as courteous as I would expect from Hilton.

Booked a normal room. Upon arrival was given the keys to a disabled room which was dirty. So there was hassle to change. Undisclosed charges on my account which I had to dispute. Shoddy management, not providing receipts of detailed breakdown of stay to prevent this. All I received in compensation was a drinks voucher which were only for house drinks or draft despite being told by reception its for more than that. You will be better off at a premier inn instead of this place.

Lovely hotel but Bournemouth is getting a bit rough

On 21st of August 2024, we made a booking to stay at Hilton Bournemouth. On arrival I was disappointed as there was a huge queue at the checking desk, only to find 1 person working. After 15 minutes of standing 3 people suddenly emerged from a back door to serve the standing customers. This can be seen by CCTV monitoring on this day.
After arriving to our rooms, my youngest daughter wanted to have a shower. After having a shower myself at night, I noticed that above the shower head, near the ceiling there are black moulds covering the ceiling. I then noticed the bottom part of the shower and the walls were covered with black mould, which is easily visible. The black mould was spread through out the tills. After we returned back to our city, I noticed that my daughter has unusually developed a skin rash on her legs. After consulting with a doctor, they have confirmed that this is as a result of mould and mildew.
I am a regular customer at Hilton hotels both nationally and even more internationally. However, after this terrible experience, I can now say that I will no longer be a customer. My family were planning to host a wedding at Hilton Bournemouth; however, I have now informed my Jewish friends and family about our experience and they have decided to host their wedding at Marriot Hotel.

This was an okay stay, but the room I was allocated was across from a nightclub and incredibly loud music blasting until about 2/3am! There's nothing on the website that states that these rooms wouldn't be suitable for those who are looking for a good nights sleep and I would've appreciated a head's up upon checking in or some sort of disclaimer somewhere when booking.

Lovely location near shops and 5 minutes to beach. Lovely clean comfy hotel but the breakfast they need to improve service and serve hot drinks on tables due to safety.

We enjoyed the four night stay

Great spot for beach and town, short walk to any of the key locations. Amazing facilities including the pool. We ate out for breakfast and dinner so not sure about the food. Room was great, clean and loved the balcony.

Apart from a long delay booking in upon arrival, all other elements of our stay was excellent

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and although good, this time there had been noticeable improvements since our earlier stays, which was great to see and we’d stay here again!

Really disappointing- check in was horrendous and took 40 minutes.
Check out was also poor
4.0
Spacious and clean rooms, centrally located and has many restaurants just outside the hotel.
The only negative review is the swimming pool: lacks in seating area, the water was dirty and as nobody was safeguarding families let their kids splash and shout.

Great hotel with great service. The area around it isn't the best, struggled to find good places to eat and go for a drink nearby.

Happy with everything .

First room hadn’t been made up so had to go back to Reception. Second room’s bathroom wasn’t that clean either.
Beds not that comfortable although rooms a really good size.
Noise from bar across the road is a major issue for the lower rooms at the front of the hotel. Thumping bass until 1:30am, not great. Staff hit and miss. Breakfast had good choice, the cooked breakfast wasn’t very warm but otherwise was ok.

First and last time, we will stay at a Hilton hotel. Staff are not very nice and are quite blunt and not very accommodating to issues with their rooms. Tried to call reception and housekeeping as there were quick dial buttons in the room, but both trys at over a minute of ringing, and our call was still not answered. Due to this, we had to go back down to reception to report the issue we had.
Glue residue in the shower tray in our bathroom, which was reported but didn't accept responsibility or take it very seriously and just said they would send the housekeeper up to our room. After she arrived, she saw it was a hard stubborn glue residue and accepted chemicals she had wouldn't be able to resolve the issue. Thankfully, she gave us a shower mat to cover all the glue residue.
After a shower at the end of the night, the water went everywhere over the floor and didn't run fast enough down the drain. Caused a small flood on the floor, which the foot mat towel couldn't help with the water that overflowed onto the floor.
Before my final conclusion, price per night sets examples no matter the brand. If you charge a high price per night, the experience and quality should match the price.
For £200 a night, I was expecting a bit of wow factor from the hotel and accommodating staff to our every issue, but this was missing on so many levels.

Close to the beach. Good staff. Nice rooms. Would stay here again & do recommend.

Lovely hotel not far from the beach my children loved the hotel.

The people that run this hotel are heartless. They wouldn’t let me cancel a room booking after my Grandmother sadly passed away, they just refused as I had a non refundable room. I even said I would accept the chance to amend or take a voucher but no. They just said no. Do not use this hotel - awful people run this.

It was lovely staying at the Hilton. Close to the beach, shopping, dining and walks in the park. The beds were amazingly comfortable to sleep on. We had connecting rooms. The 511 room aircon wasn’t working. The bathrooms I think the ventilation wasn’t working. The breakfast options were good however, the two days we were there my daughter couldn’t have pancakes. We were told they didn’t have the delivery yet. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Great hotel. Will definitely stay again.

Great location and facilities. Parking (pay extra) in terrace Mount very convenient and easy and secure. One of the mattresses in our room was way too tired (Rm732) and needs replacing, but the hotel otherwise was excellent. Level8ight terrace nice and restaurant also good. Plenty of local places to eat and drink on doorstep along with proximity to park and beach/pier.
2.0
A medium to large hotel that simply cannot cope when full.
The one restaurant on the ground floor doubles as the breakfast area. It is undersized for the number of people staying and also understaffed. At 9am, peak breakfast time, tables are not cleared, there are long queues to allocated to a table, glasses and plates not restocked. Food such as bread, pastries, empty.
The food, once you actually got it. was also pretty poor.
For the price paid I would expect significantly better.

Good location, close to restaurants, central park area and beach. Staff were extremely good, very attentive and professional. Great breakfast. Level8 bar is nice and we’d have stayed longer but it’s a bit pricey (the menu downstairs is cheaper but limited, so we went out for drinks). Nice to have the option of a pool and it’s very well maintained but a bit dark and moody. Bournemouth is starting to feel a bit run down but the hotel still managed to feel a bit special.

Great hotel near the town centre and very short walk to the beach. Staff were good and friendly. Lovey pool and spa.

Convenient location
2.0
Hotel was clean, comfortable and staff were at tentative and welcoming, knew local knowledge when asked directions, would stay again. Down side car park attached to hotel is down a steep slope so not good if you can’t walk far, no direct access from car park into hotel. I had a room with a balcony, two chairs it could do with a small table to put your drink on.

Very conveniently located to the Bournemouth International Centre. Great hotel with spa facilities.
