Unfortunately we couldn’t stay here as the motorway was closed and we arrived too late. We had to book a premier in instead so lost out on our money.

Great place for an overnight stay in Dover. Especially, if Dover is your cruise port. A great location if your intention is to spend a few days exploring Dover. Highly recommend you contact this property ahead of time should you require securing your luggage prior to checking in or after checking out. Room #6 is on the top floor (2nd floor) accessible by stairs only. Room #6 has a very small ensuite bathroom which includes a very small shower. This shower is difficult to enter and exit if you are at big/tall person. Your host is excellent. Restaurant tip...Il Rustico Restaurant (4 Bench Street). Awesome Italian food and 10 minute walk from this property.

We really liked this guesthouse in Dover. I had asked if we could drop our luggage off around 11:30 so we could go to Dover Castle. Our host was very accommodating. We arrived back about 4:00 to check in and that was smooth. Our room was large, with a table and chairs in front of a large window facing the street. The room and bathroom were sparking clean and stocked with everything we needed. The guesthouse is a short walk to town and lots of restaurants. Our host gave us some suggestions of places to eat, which was helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice B & B. The hostess is more than accomodating.

The reviews for this property are old. I don’t know if the property was sold or what. The woman there was pleasant, but it’s the details that count. The towels could use replacing with nicer towels that are not frayed, and the mattress on the king bed could use replacing. The duvet didn’t cover our feet, and the shower/en-suite was so small that two people couldn’t brush their teeth at the same time. The shower was equally as small/big folks would have a bad time trying to shower. All in all, could use a major update-so much potential but really not what is advertised.

Arriving in Dover earlier than checkin our host was kind enough to let us sign in early. Location was perfect for our arrival by train and departure bia bus. Both were an easy walk as was our walk to town center.
Host wad very attentive and helpful

I really think the check-in time is far too late. Recently I've stayed at a few B&B's, all had a check-in time before 2pm. This one was 4.30pm. an unheard time

Unfortunately the bedding in my nice room was full of bed bugs which has left large bights all over my neck back and arms. This may have been a one off bed disappointing to say the least. Bedding was changed on my request but too late by then. Bedding bites aside a nice place to stay. Unfortunately the bedding issue was the overriding concern. Now a very uncomfortable flight home will be the result.

Not sure how this property got 4 on reviews. Check in is 4:30 and out at 9:30. Ridiculous times compared to other places.
3 long flights of narrow dark stairs . Could barely turn around in the shower. Bathroom had closet doors. Noisy and on a busy street. Old furniture and stiff linens. 12” tv smaller than a computer screen. It is within walking distance of town. Owner made a fuss when we asked about breakfast. So we went to the cafe down the street. I would not recommend

We had a lovely time staying at this property. Sandra was very welcoming and we were fortunate to be able to check in a little early so we did not have to carry our luggage (we had travelled by train from London). The room was bright, cheery and immaculate !!!! Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. The only thing that was not, was the Dover Transport Museum (worth a visit). However, public transport was close by and the driver was very helpful. On our last day in Dover, our train did not leave until after 5pm. Sandra was very accommodating and kept our luggage safe so that we could explore the White Cliffs without worries (and dragging our bags along). There were many dining recommendations provided (The White Horse, Dino's and Aspendos we would definitely recommend) lots of current information on the area for exploring. Highly recommend staying here, it was fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely traditional B&B, the proprietor was friendly and courteous and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable and lovely and quiet considering it is on a busy road. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a nice en-suite. The room was beautifully decorated with beautiful bedding. Our only observation was the TV was tiny!! but we were weren't going to watch it anyway as we were in dover visiting friends.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good. We appreciated that they could store our bikes for us. The location was good and we could easily get to the town centre as well as to the ferry.

Very central and easy walk to Dover Castle. Owner was very friendly and tried very hard to please. Breakfast was excellent and bed comfortable. Only disadvantage was climb of stair to second floor as we are both in late seventies.

The location of the hotel is great. Our room even has a view of the castle. Sandra was such a nice lady. The breakfast she prepared for us was the best breakfast we ever had.

Quite possibly the warmest welcome and politest British hospitality I've experienced for years. No doubt, I'll stay here again when in Dover. Excellent!
