Beautiful hotel, in a great location.

Fantastic hotel so clean rooms lovely and great service on reception

Very nice hotel. We booked a dog friendly room and the hotel is advertised as “dog friendly”. It isn’t.
We checked in, went to the room and then went out for a walk, on the way out we were asked to fill in a form about the dog which asked for a £50 dog supplement! As well as a damage disclaimer. The document also stated that the dog was not allowed in any food and beverage areas!
It was a shock to learn of the £50 fee and this should be clear on the website.
We had to get a pizza delivered and ate in the room and had to cancel breakfast as we could not use the buffet.
It was difficult to eat in the room as there was only one chair and a tiny table.
There was a dog bowl and very small dog bed which was good and the dog friendly rooms are on the ground floor which makes it easier with a dog. However not allowing dogs into any other parts of the hotel makes it very awkward.
Disappointing stay in nice hotel in great location.

The location work well for us.. Hotel was lovely and charming. Staff was extremely welcoming.. The rooms are small (at least our was) but comfortable..

My stay at The Dixon was excellent It has an excellent location and the staff was wonderful. I would stay here again.

We stayed in August it was not to hot out but our room a/c was not working at all. They changed our room for us the next day so that was great. The sinks in bathroom in both rooms clog to the point where you can only use them once until housekeeping comes and cleans the room:/ With 2 girls in a room this was an issue. Location is literally around the corner from Tower Bridge, so if you want to be in that area it’s great. Walk to subway’s is about 15 min. It’s a very historical old hotel that’s been renovated.

Although you are so close to many London highlights, the moment you turn the corner to the Dixon you feel like you're in a quiet town. I loved the location.

Very welcoming desk staff and clean, comfortable room. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful room with excellent fittings and features, awesome bed and shower . Great location within walking distance to underground and train station. Romance package was amazing for our special occasion and was no trouble for staff to organise. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

Very comfortable and a quality hotel, that is affordable. Friendly staff. On arrival check in; told twin room wasn’t available as booking from months in advance. Due to a twin adjoining room request from other guests. Hence Offered up grade at no extra cost but a put up bed in room, which was a little disappointing to offered a put up bed. Thankfully another lady turned up at reception and re arranged other guests- allow us a twin room as our booking. Perfect comfort stay, rooms are lovely and air con that’s quiet, there are safes in the rooms too as website states deposit box at reception. No biscuits to go with lovely tea or coffee machine in room! Lovely toiletries in room and tone with slippers- nice surprise!
Made cleaned very well too.

Housekeeping no show for two days. Slow check in process

Great hotel. However, the rooms are not soundproof as described. You can hear people open and close doors all the time. Also, the hotel doesn't allow eating late in their restaurant. But otherwise a great hotel.

Staying in London while celebrating my sister’s birthday, who had accompanied me. Booked a twin room also put a note on the booking about the reason for the stay. Checked in and I feel as though I was duped. I booked a twin room, and when the receptionist asked whose birthday it is. I said it was my sisters. And he said he will try to do something for us. He asked if we can use a double bed instead of twin. So that he can upgrade us. To a room with a view. I thought he was being kind, he gave me two options, one was an accessible room and the other was a lower ground floor. I was told the view on the lower ground floor room was very nice. I believed him. It is safe to say it seems he didn’t have a twin room for me and wanted to put me in any room at all. Or he just lied. I was in room 6. No one would describe a white brick wall, as a view. On some of the sunniest days of the year, we kept the curtains drawn the whole weekend. Also I found it extremely difficult to call the reception. They take a very very very long time to answer the phone. I called at 4 separate occasions. One of which, was after I left the hotel. A few minutes after leaving I called to double check I would have the room cleaned. It was quiet around the hotel when I was leaving, I had the phone disconnected after a few rings at times or they were simply not answering, for 15 minutes. All in all the staff are not so good in my experience. But apart from that, it was a nice hotel. Clean and comfortable.

Very clean and comfortable. Delighted to get a room upgrade at check in, thank you. Great location, walkable to lots of places to eat and drink, check in staff very helpful.

The Dixon is a great hotel, however I've gone to use points that I've accumulated from hotels.com to pay for my hotel, and instead they've charged me £169.31. I shouldn't be charged and if I can't use points, then this hotel should say they're exempt from it. I'm really annoyed

Very convenient for us on a 1 night business stay - I think the room that we had on 3rd floor was absolutely fine for us it we had one nights luggage; the room wouldn’t suit international travellers with 2 cases of any size.

Everything was great. The building is amazing and the location ideal. The breakfast service was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. However, the price was something else. I think I could have got much the same at a fairer price by shopping around.

Amazing stay.

It’s very close to the London tower n the service was amazing always helpful n kind.

I have never given a bad review ever but this hotel was awful and I want to make sure others know how bad it is. It's not worth ten dollars a night, let alone what I paid for it. The hotel is very run down and is very out dated. It looks like it may have been an extremly nice place in the 1970s but it's very obvious that there is no one maintaining this property. The huge rug right inside of the lobby was filthy and discolored which should have been my first clue of what the rest of my stay was going to be like. The hot water handle in the bathroom was broken and didn't turn on. The cold worked but the facet itself dripped continuously as well. The bathroom had no wash cloths and the hand towels in the bathroom looked like linen napkins and were practically useless. The room was dirty, run down and was in very poor condition. The door handle on the armoire was broken and all of the furniture in the room was in very poor condition. It made a motel 6 in the States look like a dream in comparison. The bed sheets were clean but the beds were very firm. The location was also in a run-down area of town. The breakfast was not awful but it wasn't good either. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the same cost you can stay in a much nicer place.

The bedrooms are large and the amenities are great. Hotel is an attraction itself. Close to bus stop for easy transportation. Uber was how we mostly traveled to the underground and to/from.
4.6
Love that we could leave our bags when checking out so we could go to the Tower of London
4.6
A beautiful facility. Room size very large for London. A little pricy, but again it’s London. Close to Tower Bridge area including many pubs. Fifteen minute walk to London Bridge station and Borough Market.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The location was amazing, just a stone's throw away from the iconic London Tower and surrounded by great dining options. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. What truly made my stay special was the warm and friendly staff who were always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch accommodation in London.

We only stayed for 1 night but we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and history of the hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel was a really beautiful place to stay.
4.6
Lovely hotel, the room was interesting and the shower wash fantastic. Loved that you can cast to the TV, and the whole building was very interesting.staff are really friendly.
Only reason it dropped a star was I had agreed a late checkout on check-in - I was disturbed 3 times (housekeeping a phonecall from reception then a visit at the door) to ask why I hadn't checked out yet... Not very relaxing and made me feel a bit unwelcome. Ended up leaving early despite paying for late checkout.

Outstanding. Service was great

We had a lovely stay away for my partners birthday, the staff decorated the room with cake and a balloon. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly.
4.6
Unique, character hotel. I can’t remember what room we booked, but I believe we upgraded a notch or two and our king room was a good size with a huge bathroom. Our friends booked entry level and their rooms were quite a bit smaller.
Lovely staff. Enjoyed the bar. Good location; quick walk to the tower. You can catch the tube on the other side of the bridge, but apparently there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel that will take you to the tube station. If you walk to the waterfront there are restaurants, pubs, and shops.
4.6
Hotel would not honor the room type booking made and Jade me pay $50 more for a room that still didn't offervtge accommodations booked. Management needs to invest Inti training their staff, room cleaning was poorly done with F at age and dirty linens left, basics line new tissues or toilet paper were not replaced, transferring from one room to the “upgraded” room was a disaster from room selection to transfer of bags to coordination of timing to Mo W from one room to the other.
The bar was nice and the service there excellent as was the location and overall condition of the hotel, but it only opened 4 years ago.

The Dixon is in a great location, staff was helpful and friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay. A few points that could have been better; upon check-in we were asked to pay a deposit but staff failed to mention only credit cards are accepted. This caused some anxiety as we tried several debit cards to no avail before realizing this. Secondly a bedside drawer was found to have medication and other items from a previous guest. Breakfast in the morning was insufficiently replenished.

The hotel is stunning. The courtroom bar was interesting. The entryway staircase is beautiful. It’s right around the corner from tower bridge. About a 10min walk from the tube. The room was so large and spacious. We had people around us hut couldn’t hear anything, it was very quiet. The hallways can be quite a maze at first but once we found the room, it was easy going afterwards
4.6
Our stay at this hotel was decent. The lobby is gorgeous with a pretty central location which was good for sightseeing. However, staff seemed bothered whenever we approached and were sometimes not even helpful.
We had to request extra water in our room several times, some days the coffee pods were not replaced, nor were small hand towels. The rooms were clean but the inconsistencies in housekeeping each day were inconvenient. Room phone also did not connect to the front desk, restaurant, or in room dining, so pretty useless.
We tried asking about in room dining several times but were never given a straight answer about whether it was available even though this was listed as an amenity. We did see servers carrying food from the restaurant to floors above but it was always uncovered so probably best we didn’t order anything.
We would probably not stay here again but it did the job while we were there.

Loved it here. Very clean, close to so many London sightseeing places. We’ll stay again
