Nice hotel in great convenient location. Rooms small, but functional. Staff friendly and helpful with local advice. Will stay again for next Singapore visit.
4.6
The room was comfortable, the location excellent, and the staff lovely, but the soundproofing is ATROCIOUS. Once the thumping music from a nearby bar had stopped, the walls were so thin I could hear the man in the room next door shifting in his bed. Bring earplugs!
4.6
When I was taking a shower at night, I saw a lizard in the bathroom. I called for help, but the receptionist said there were no other rooms available. Since there were no other staff in the hotel, she had to help me get rid of it. We were both very scared, and we had to wait until another guest came out of their room to help us. The smell of the pesticide lingered in the room the whole night, which gave me a headache the next morning. It was a truly terrible experience. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
4.6
Really nice hotel in quiet and cool area. Welcoming check in.
We had 4 large cases as this was a layover stay but staff didn’t help bring them to our room. It was quite tough with tiny lift also.
4.6
The bed was truly comfortable, staff very helpful and location great. I liked the communal feeling. almost like in a backpacker with the whole charme and coziness minus the dirt.
4.6
Great staff - especially the 2 Ladies on reception. We accidentally left all our valuables in the in-room safety deposit box in our rush to check out, but had everything safely returned to us when we returned to pick up our luggage. They were also very friendly and jovial. Also provided useful information on how to best get to its sister hotel (Ann Siang) walking with luggage.
This was a last minute booking and was good value for one night.
The bedroom and bathroom were a little on the small/compact size, but were adequate.
The separate kitchen and terrace facilities were a boon, as was the free coffee and snacks.
All in all a great one-night stay.
Minor annoyances - the high step-up into the bathroom. The toilet roll holder was in an inconvenient position - so we took the toilet roll off. No big deal, and other than that fine

Beautiful, restored building with guest needs met by smart, thoughtful architecture and in room and shared facilities eg kitchen, free water and lounge.
4.6
There is no window in the room and the sound proof isn't great as I could hear door opening next door.
4.6
Ít is a tiny home! Very compact but very clean and nice! Great location! It is very close , walking distance to China point!, Chinatown!
4.6
The hotel was perfect, nice design interior bed was really nice!
4.6
On the surface the hotel looks fantastic however the practicalities are where we felt let down. The hotel is decorated beautifully, the staff were very helpful and kind. I really appreciated the kitchen and terrace space.l - the water, coffee and snacks were a great touch.
The room itself was much smaller than I expected (somewhat reasonable given it is a budget hotel). The room was very cold to sleep in, especially next to the window where the bed was, meaning we didn’t sleep well. Putting the heater on to warm the room, made every surface become wet and steamed up the mirror which felt very uncomfortable. The window did not open fully meaning we couldn’t aerate the room after. The shower was very small which became inconvenient and when used, also made the surfaces and walls become damp and wet. By our second evening we felt very uncomfortable because of this.
The location was fantastic which made up for the issues with the room, ideally located for a budget traveller. I believe for a similar price we could have got a slightly better quality room. The room would have been perfect for a solo traveller but not for a couple.
4.6
Bright clean room, if a little on the small size. Surprise facilities available for guest usage were a separate well equipped kitchen, laundry room, lounge and an open air verandah! Staff were absolutely fantastic - they were unfailingly polite, helpful and fully focused on “customer care”. KeSa is also located a short walk from the excellent MRT transport system which, once you understand the transport map is extremely efficient and easy to navigate.
4.6
This is a cute little place in Chinatown with a great location. Plenty of food and drink places within walkable distance. Room is a bit tiny, but the location and price makes up for it. The staff is super friendly as well.
4.6
Nice stay for single travellers.
4.6
Great boutique hotel walking distance to transit, Chinatown hawker centre, Maxwell foof centre, etc. Beautiful characterful building that's been done up on the inside with modern amenities.
Only caveats would be: 1. Because of the location, can be loud in the evening until about 11am from the bars nearby; 2. Not great if you have mobility issues (due to the building being a heritage building, lots of small steps between halls or even between the bedroom and bathroom)
4.6
I had an amazing stay! Slept very well, hotel smells really nice, everything works, they even have unlimited tap and sparkling water on tap! The room was clean too, wifi was good. The hotel is also in a very convenient and good location.
4.6
Lovely neat and tidy property. Water pressure isn’t top notch, but everything else was really well appointed.
4.6
Excellent location: MRT stations, Chinatown and places of interest nearby, Maxwell Food Center, safe and hip neighborhood, plenty of dining options
Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and attentive staff. During my stay, Nicole at the front desk helped me with great advises and suggestions.
Hotel itself is very clean. The living room and the kitchen on the second floor are bright and spacious. The kitchen is accessible 24 hours and for those who like to cook: well equipped with stoves, microwave, fridge, utensils, pots and pans. There are also simple snacks, water, tea and coffee (espresso machine with fresh coffee beans)
The room I stayed, while on a smallish size (to be expected in this kind of hotel and price range in Singapore), is clean, modern and comfortable.
The first floor is the lobby. The second and third floors are all the hotel rooms. I liked walking up the wooden stairs (although there is an elevator) to my room on the second floor. I plan on returning to this hotel next trip. It made me feel like coming home, unlike the typical hotels.
4.6
Lovely staff and service. My room was on the top floor and without a window/view, which was fine by me as I only needed a place to sleep. The bars outside made it a little noisy, but again this wasn't a problem for me - if you are a light sleeper it may bother you. The location is excellent, super close to Maxwell Food Centre for a bite, and walkable to all downtown and many touristic attractions. I also took the MRT in from Changi to Outram Park, a straight run on the green line which was very convenient. I'd stay here again!

pretty garden. good location. close to the city area. good access to several stations, restaurant and food court.
sometimes loud sound from the wall was noisy.
but totally good.

Great location!

Fantastic location, very smart hotel and the staff (I wish I could remember her name) were 5 star.
4.6
We loved the old building feel, but with all modern facilities. The glass bottles offering refill drinking water is excellent! My only complain was that the bathroom door cannot close fully to separate the shower from the bathroom, making the whole bathroom floor very wet after a shower.
4.6
Lovely place. Staff was nice and allowed me to check in late after my flight was delayed past midnight.
4.6
Loved the location and ease of getting around to areas of Singapore we wished to visit. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful - a pleasure. Absolutely recommend this property!

Cozy and stylish little hotel with clean and modern rooms. Conveniently located near China town. Plenty of restaurants, food halls and bars nearby. Rooms are quite small, but offer plenty of storage. Good value for money.
4.6
Location was amazing. Staff were helpful and shared common areas nice. Room was super small, but I knew this going in. As room was so small it showed some wear. But everything was nice and worked fine. Common areas very well maintained and having kitchen and laundry for use was nice.
Location is amazing with lots of eating options within walking distance. I will stay here again in the future.

Good place to stay

The Room and specially the bathroom was just too small

Very much enjoyed our one night stay in Kesa House and will consider staying here for future stays in Singapore.
Staff were very friendly, personable and helpful.
Rooms were on the small side but very functional.
4.6
I walked in to hair in the room. I find that totally unacceptable. Otherwise, friendly staff and excellent location. Rooms are quite small. A bit overpriced.
4.6
Great overall experience. On our late arrival the staff were amazing as they saw as with a small kid, they upgraded our room for the night. The room was perfect and great design. Unfortunately, we did only one night there but next time easily we could stay there for a while.
4.6
Very clean & its proximity to china town & its accessibility to go around popular places. Price is a bit high.
4.6
A nice hotel in an old shop house, located in a pretty good area close to the busy Chinatown, but far enough away to have peace. There is a lot of coffee shops and restaurants close by.
The room and bathroom was small but this was expected due to the type of property. Everything was comfortable
4.6
Love this place. Staff are friendly room is great. 7 minutes walked to Chinatown. 3 minutes to Hop on hop off bus station ❤️
4.6
Nice, clean place, good location, overpriced place for small standard room .
4.6
Spartan but good for independent travelers. Most guestse were young couples. Though not on direct metro line to airport, it is a 2 minute walk to Chinatown. I asked for a quiet room an had one. No window, so would not meet US building codes, but it was perfect for me. Friendly and helpful staff-- thank you!

A fine stay

Great location. Nearer to Maxwell, rather than Chinatown MRI station. Well-equipped room with a communal kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities. Eco-friendly.

The hotel was amazing in a good location and close to everything…
Nice vibes and atmosphere specifically the ladies working at the front desk…
Definitely will come back
