Wonderfull water side views from extensive upper story room windows. Very comfortable interior. Nice deck.
Only downside is frequent traffic on back side...traffic drops way off during overnight hours.

I’m reluctant to leave a review because I want this place to remain my own little secret getaway! It was so perfect. The place is fully equipped, clean, amazingly comfy beds, great location and the most incredible views. Watching the birds and the changing tides and skies was so special. We paddleboarded right from the location and it was magical. Samantha was so helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

The property is easy to find and communication with the owner was very smooth. Lots of space and well equip with comfy beds. Just sitting in the window with the binoculars watching the wildlife go by and the changing tides was delightful. Shops only 5-10 mins away and had everything we needed.

We loved the location and the ability to just sit and enjoy the bird estuary !!! We also saw a black bear wondering through in low tide which was kind of cool!!

Loved the windows & view! The beds were very comfortable and everything was convenient & made for a great home away from home. We are very sorry to have lost your key. We searched for it but with no success. We should have put it back in the lock box immediately.

This was the sweetest little cottage, right on the water. We had the greatest time watching the eagles and the sea otters. The cottage was so well layed out, that we never felt cramped. We stayed for a week and it was centrally located to everything. Only downside was the traffic noise, but my husband found it soothing. We both slept well in the comfortable bed. Charming, romantic getaway! Just what we needed!

This was an awesome 2 bedroom (we only needed 1), fully stocked kitchen, utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot, tea kettle, etc. We ate out, but still nice. Beautiful deck w BBQ. Awesome front sitting area w wood buring stove (we didnt use it), windows on 3 sides for relaxing, watching the bay, the birds, the sea otters, eagles, geese, goslings. Fantastic space to chill & use as home base for checking out the many sights of Courtney-Comox.

This was an fantastic rental; my new favourite of all time. As soon as we walked into it, we were immediately mesmerized by the incredible views over the estuary. I counted 15 windows in the dining room and sitting room and cute reading book (with the telescope. From this awesome vantage point, we were able to see seals, otters, bald waves humming birds and blue herring all without having to leave the room. In fact our biggest challenge was to actually plan an outing and find the will to leave the suite, because we just wanted to stay there all day, reading, talking and enjoying the views. The suite itself was very cozy with cottage-like vintage charm and ambiance (one of the reasons I picked it ). The size of the suite was larger than we expected. It was a perfect venue for a reunion with my daughter, who was visiting from Ontario. Seriously, it was like being in an IMAX theatre, watching a nature documentary. And the beds were very comfortable . The kitchen was well stocked and you will find everything you need for a short or long stay. Samantha was a super nice and friendly host, and check in (with lock box code ) and wi-Fi sign- in were a breeze. We’re already thinking of when we’d like to come back and we only just arrived home. You will not be disappointed with this rental experience. Instead, you will build life long memories you can revisit for years to come! Even in a rain storm, (such ad we experienced) , we would come back in a heart beat !😊

This property was just the sweetest stay we could have found. It felt like home the moment we opened the door. Very private area and just so enjoyable to just sit and view all the birds and seals that come by. Our host, Samantha was fantastic and helped us figure out the tv at ten o'clock at night and was so kind about it. There is a gas station just up the road with a convenience store that has just about everything you might need, along with a liquor store attached to that. Lots of shopping just ten minutes away. We will definitely be back to enjoy again!

Amazing property with lots of space and character. Beautiful views and comfortable. The road is a bit noisy but quiet at night. Loved our stay here

Loved staying here. Cozy and beautiful view. Was able to used the fireplace during a snowstorm. Beds were comfy. Communication with owner was great. Would definitely stay again. Only comments would be that the place wasn’t super clean and having pre-cut kindling and wood would have been a nice extra. Otherwise loved our stay.

We loved this place! We watched at different times of the day to see the tides go in and out of the estuary. We saw seals, otters, ducks and eagles.
Place was immaculate and we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back - we have relatives in Courtnay and Campbell River - this was a good place to visitg both.
Thanks Samantha!!!

Great little property with a stellar view. Watching the hundreds of geese fly in at night, the seals playing in the estuary literally just meters from the window, eagles, etc. Just awesome. The only downside is the building is right beside the main road, which lends to some road noise. Luckily though, it's Comox, so they roll the sidewalks up early and you don't get a lot of noise later in the evening.

The location between Courtney and Comox was really convenient. It was a joy to watch the birds and seals out in the estuary. Beds were comfy and amenities especially washer and dryer were great. Our biggest challenge however was how noisy it is at this property. Twenty feet from the busy road created unending traffic noise and made it impossible to have windows open in the bedrooms at night. There is a cracked window “repaired” with tape in the dining area and one of the stairs needs to have the runner fixed. If noise isn’t an issue then I would recommend this property wholeheartedly..

A spacious and well appointed older residence, full of character, with a unique view of the estuary, tides, bird life, and the Comox Glacier. I'd happily stay there again.

Breathtaking views of the Comox valley. Rental included anything you could ever need.
Convenient location.
Is my number one spot to rent on the island.

Everything was excellent overall. The property backs right up to the estuary so the views are incredible. Property is really clean and the communication with the owner was great. Would rent again for sure.
