Terrible hotel with asylum seekers, police called as man tied to the radiator. No toilet roll, coffee sachets, people in the corridors until 2am kept us awake! Do not book this hotel…

This was the most terrible stay I have ever had in my life.
Bar / restaurant both out of use ( not told at cheek in or stated when booking.
Asked for bottle of water which I was told we Don’t have you can use your tap water in your bathroom ( which was not clean in fact the room was disgusting ) the told you can got to the shop no direction given.
Also not stated that this hotel also houses refugees and homeless people again if info was given I would have not booked this
Due to passed experience. I was shouted at when out side hotel by one said homeless person as I would not hand over a cigarette.
Police was also arresting some else in the evening due to fighting. Not the experience I want to have more so when I have my Daughter with me.

Fantastic stay staff are always friendly

Hotel is a bit dated could do with some work, especially as the roof had fell apart and a bucket was collecting leakage right outside our door. But no big deal. The room was spacious, clean and beds were very comfortable. The shower could be better but it has a bath which is not common in alot of hotels i believe. Just off sauchiehall street, behind the kings theatre so very close to everything you're needing for your time in Glasgow. Plenty restaurants and bars nearby.

Night out in Glasgow to watch SA V England. Booked the hotel before reading some of the previous reviews and then thought should i cancel but only one night so ventured forth. On arrivel on the website said 4pm booked in but we arrived at 3pm and staff were happy to inform us that was okay and checkout was later at 11am. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was tidy and clean though alittle on the small side would be my only issue. Also bar was closed due to upgrade apparently but there is a pub restuarnt right oppsite the hotel. Actually not a bad stay at all and would book it again BTW the parking next door is half price if you saty at the hotel and they endorse the ticket.

The hotel advertised free wifi which was false and was an inconvenience for me to get some work down. You had to pay £7 for 24 hours of free wifi or go to the restaurant/bar to access for "free". I had to use my own data as a hotspot. My room had paper thin walls and I could hear noises of the highway and the running trains. My only pro for this place is that it was conveniently located next door to the Charing Cross train station. Also not an inconvenience but I found it strange that the TV was small. I felt like I was staying in a college dorm room. There were only 2 outlets in the room for me to plug in my devices. Also the middle lift made a scary sound when the door closed or opened.

Not great. Run down.

Brittania hotels. You don't even get what you pay.

The room was clean…enough. It was dingy and just felt unclean. Toilet didn’t work so we had to use shower water to fill it, just to flush it. There was some kind of incident downstairs where the police got involved inside the lobby. Pot was being smoked right on the front steps. Flies in the food at breakfast. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Property decor needs updating, no milk for coffee/tea, only 1x towel. Staff very friendly and efficient in reception.

This is clearly ex Premier Inn Accomodation, looks like Brittania bought it and done nothing with it since. Reception area is not inviting of what to expect, but rooms are spacious and clean. Just once in your room you don’t feel inclined to venture out! Handy for Charing Cross Station though!

The Hotel was appalling. When I turned up no one was on reception and had to wait about 10 minutes. The Hotel looks like you should rent the rooms by the hour and it was grossly overpriced for a small tacky room with dirty linen. I would NEVER stay at this Hotel again or recommend it to any of my colleagues.

Very good and Comfortable stay

Staff were lovely and the room, although some furniture was a little dated it was clean and comfortable. Slept well! Disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open for evening meals, feel like should have been made aware of this. As a solo female business traveller I normally only book hotels with an onsite restaurant but there wasn’t even a functioning vending machine to get a drink or bottle of water. Location was good and amazing views of the city from the 11th floor! WiFi stable so being able to work/catch up whilst on the go was useful.

I don't think I've ever spent such a short time in a hotel room as this time. Arrived in the afternoon, went out almost immediately, came home late at night and got up in the middle of the night to catch the morning flight. But I can say that the service at check-in was pleasant, the room was clean and the bed was good. On the negative side the shower pressure was average and the lift was terrible. So incredibly slow!

Clean and easy transport
Poor complimentary toiletries

Staff were excellent and very friendly. For being literally on top of a train station, it is very quiet, and I really wasn't aware of any disturbance. Rooms are relatively basic and quite dated, with the associated poor plug socket availability, and I did have an issue with an unsecured curtain rail coming off the wall - thankfully easily resolved, but added a bit of stress to the stay.
4.0
Great location and the room was comfortable enough. Shower was very poor and the lift was a joke (considering we were on the 11th floor).
Breakfast was a total shambles - no clean tables to sit at, coffee was undrinkable, no staff in sight at all and the food was barely edible.

Used to stay here when it was the premier inn but has went down hill since. Not very clean looks old and tattered. We got our room and it was very basic not very clean so went to reception and got a free upgrade to a much better cleaner room.

Asked for a twin room, got a double, and no other room available, head to tail with pillows in the centre it is then.... Air Con did not work. Toilet did not flush properly. Generally falling apart, and quite obviously an old old Premier Inn that has been sold on as all the old signs are still up, falling apart - certainly not great value for the money spent to one night, however night staff was great when I asked for a fan due to melting in the heat.
