5 adults and 2 children stayed for 6 nights. You know the air conditioner isn't going to be adequate when you walk in and there is a box or stand fan in every living area and bedroom. Falling asleep was difficult on hotter days for the 5 adults because it wasn't cool enough. Didn't care for the background noise of fans constantly running. The property description states that "onsite parking includes a garage". We had no access to the garage and were told the description was wrong. The description is still wrong a week later.

This place was wonderful. So clean and a great floor plan. We only stayed one night on our way through Albuquerque, but it would have been perfect for a longer stay. It was perfect for our family. The outdoor spaces were great too.

Great surprises behind the blue door! Our family of 5 adults loved the courtyard and backyard. Plenty of room for us to spread out and find our own space. Took us a bit to master all of the light switches, and had to supplement AC with fans in every room (provided), but really enjoyed this spacious and unique getaway. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed. Made easy 15-20 minute drives to restaurants, Sandia Peak, Nob Hill, and Old Town plaza.

What a lovely and restful home! There are lovely garden spaces, a fountain in the front courtyard, and a koi pond with a waterfall in the back yard. We loved our time there.

This home was perfect for our multigenerational family of 6 adults. Everything updated, comfortable, and clean. We arrived after dark but enjoyed the well- kept courtyard garden.

We stayed for a week and we definitely had space to spread out! There are multiple areas inside and out to relax. Feeding the fish every morning was a great way to start the day. The hot temperatures outside did mean the house didn’t stay as cool - there are lots of windows and the sunlight would stream in during the day. We did correspond with the owners and they were prompt in responding and getting someone out to check the evaporative cooler.
Fortunately there were a number of box fans that helped keep things comfortable for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again. Safe and quiet neighborhood and close to lots of restaurants, stores, etc.

Sitting in the backyard surrounded by beautiful well kept landscaping was a peaceful beginning and ending to our vacation time in Albuquerque.

My wife, several adult family members and I stayed at this property in May. We loved the landscaping and water features - it truly felt like an oasis. The interior courtyard was also wonderful - private and not visible from the street, but allows you to sit outside in the sunshine protected from the wind. The backyard landscaping was also excellent, and we spent quite a bit of time relaxing there. The house has a beautiful open floor plan with lots of natural light in some of the common areas. The host was generally responsive both via text and through the VRBO app; the only problem was that she was on the east coast, so a question asked in the evening would not get answered until morning. The only real downer was that there are only two bathrooms for the four bedrooms, so it often seemed like people were waiting for the bathroom, especially when getting ready to go somewhere. Bottom line: I would definitely stay here again when I have a group of people and want to have several comfortable places in the home to relax and spend time together.

Great communication and beautiful “New Mexico” style architecture. Older house with some quirks but the house and grounds are beautiful. Only issue I had is now my wife want to move to ABQ. Ha!
Thanks Mickie… we had a great time.

We didn't get to enjoy this beautiful home and the backyard. We arrived late and had to leave early morning. The house was nice and clean and safe neighborhood. The only con was that we arrived in early January before a snow storm and night temps were in the 30s and thermostat didn't work all night, it was 62 until the morning. Mickie kindly issued a partial refund.

Girls weekend was a success, and the house offered just what we needed.
Nice neighbors and central to activities.
Comfortable, but the house could use a little love with maintenance issues (ivy choking trees, lighting inside and out needs a big upgrade and proper wiring, new towels.) General maintenance and refreshment of property.

We chose this location because of size and having outdoor space. It was very well kept up, and very attractive, as well.

Enjoyed the beautiful outside courtyard and backyard gardens and fountain. We loved singing around the piano as we did growing up. Great end to a week long sibling trip.

Property was great. Air conditioning left a little to be desired for some in our group. They were use to a home temperature of 65 degrees. The home was nice other than that we dealt with that.

Quiet, even in a neighborhood. Beautiful roses and outside area.

I booked this VRBO for the night before my best friends wedding. we had bridesmaids traveling in from out of town and all needed a place to stay.
Check in time was at 4pm, so we were curious as to why the cleaner was still there at 4:30pm when we arrived. I reached out to the property manager to receive our VRBO info (most importantly the lock code to receive keys to the house.) We sat outside the property for 20 minutes and called the property manager 5 times, and messaged her on both the VRBO app and her actual phone number but received no response. While sitting outside the house waiting for a response, the cleaner told us she would give us the code so we could start taking some of our things inside.
Once a few of our friends had arrived, the house started to warm up (most likely do to a mix of 10 girls plus the 90° heat outside). We found the thermostat and a note asking that we don’t change the temperature. Not a huge deal, but also for the price of the house, I think we should be able to set the temp to what we want.
Before going to bed we wanted to watch a movie on our computer. The listing specifically states that there is wifi available, which there is, but the property manager never sent the welcome info for the VRBO so we didn’t receive the password and (not) to our surprise the manager didn’t respond when I texted asking her for the password.
We wanted a relaxing house, but getting information was so stressful that in the end we didn’t get that.

We enjoyed our stay! The front courtyard and lush landscaping in the back were gorgeous, the property felt completely tucked away and secluded. The house had everything we needed, was well stocked, and nicely decorated. The only downside for us was the temp. It was really cold inside (low 60’s) and no matter what we tried (raising temp, switching from cool to heat, etc) it never got above 65, which was just too chilly for our group. However there were plenty of blankets and warm bedding, and sitting outside was absolutely perfect.
One other note re: the dishwasher. One side of the top rack is broken/hanging and I worry it might fall soon.
Overall this was a lovely property! Highly recommend. :)

House was clean and as shown in pictures. Communication with owner was difficult, they don't answer the phone, or texts, and only respond thru the app.
The house had a bad smell like "incense", and my wife has asthma so that wasn't good for her at all.
The house was clean, and incense may not bother most people but for us it wasn't ideal at all.
I would say that overall however for my father and I it was a good experience, and would recommend for most as a good place to stay.

Check-in was easy, though I had to contact the host to get info. House is beautiful.

This property exceeded our expectations! It looked great from the photos and description but actually seeing it was another level. The courtyard in the front and yard in the back were like secret treasures. I wish it would have been warmer weather because I would have spent a lot more time out there. The house was very clean and roomy and had a great New Mexico flavor. It had all the amenities that we needed. We cooked there one morning and found the seasonings in the pantry to be helpful. The beds were comfortable too. Overall it invited a lovely space for my family to connect while we were in town for a funeral. I would definitely stay there again when back in town!

We
Stayed at the property for 2 nights. The house is truly a paradise - beautiful backyard water fountains. It was very close to restaurants and target as well. Highly recommend.

We (Women, Food and Agriculture Network) held our staff retreat at this beautiful property. The bedrooms are apart from the main living spaces (living room, dining room, kitchen), which made the work-life divide feel a bit more organic. The backyard and front garden area in the entryway also allow for great spaces to relax and reflect. Highly recommend.

We had a very nice stay. The house and is very nice and owners very easy to communicate with. Great location. Comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying at this hacienda in the middle of Albuquerque. The location was fabulous. The place was immaculately clean and it had all the New Mexico vibes we were looking for. The garden is gorgeous, even in the winter. The communal areas were great for hanging out as a group and talking. This was one of the very best homes that we have rented in all our years of travel.

We only got to stay for one night on our way to Colorado, but we wish we could have stayed longer! Everything was perfect. Wonderful property and host. Cannot recommend this property enough!!

Beautiful luxurious home with a tranquil courtyard and a waterfall and koi pond in the lush backyard. The home was just so beautiful and perfect. I was traveling alone with my little dog and I was very comfortable and safe, especially with the house alarm. Truly stunning and top level.

We were all blown away by the beauty of the home. The large windows showcasing the beautiful gardens were so beautiful. The home was cozy and inviting and well stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the lovely fountain. We wished we could have stayed longer than one night but it was a a perfect peaceful stop to break up our long trip.

House was clean, check in was easy, and the house has lots of character. We especially liked sitting on the back patio with the landscaped backyard with pond. They even left us food to feed the fish !
