A RESORT DIRECTLY ON GRACE BAY BEACHFRONT. A safe, quiet, and cozy place to stay. The PLAZA at Ocean Club West Resort, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos await. This condo is island view and a short walk on the property takes you to world-famous Grace Bay Beach where pool and beach chaise lounges and umbrellas await. The Solana restaurant by the Pool serves the best sushi in town among other favorites and the bar is a spot to cool off. The resort sits on over 200ft of sprawling white sand. Our guests have access to the pool, gym, spa room, tennis, restaurant, and of course the beach but here on the island, all beaches are public.

The Resort - Ocean Club Resort is known for the relaxed family-friendly atmosphere and Ocean West is by far one of the best family beachfront resorts on Grace Bay. A lot of effort has been taken to maintain the magnificent gardens filled with blooming bougainvilleas, tall swaying coconut palm trees, and native shrubs accented by a central water fountain. The large free-form swimming pool is a big hit for kids and the kid at heart, a fully equipped gym, and two flood-lit tennis courts all yours to enjoy. The onsite Restaurant SOLANA and bar is an all-time favorite, serving up some of the best island dishes, sushi, hibachi, and international flare; a daily stop for repeat visitors and locals alike.
Access - Here there are no elevators. The resort was built with the original rule of no taller than the tallest palm tree, hence only 3 stories high with wide staircases and guard rails. The higher up you go, the better the view. Perched on the Penthouse floor we have a stunning view of the resort and with no one else above you, privacy, peace and quiet is inevitable.
On arrival our friendly and professional Property Manager meets you and escorts you to your suite for check in and orientation. We were supposed to go somewhere else but there was a hurricane. So at the last minute we chose Turks & Caicos. With not much planning, we ended up at Ocean Bay West condo. It was clean, had snorkeling gear for us 4 plus some, beach chairs, and a cooler. The cooler was perfect to pack lunches and waters for our days at the beach. The beach is beautiful, the location is good, we did rent a car to see other parts of the island and I’m glad we did. We would stay here again.

The location was fantastic! You are on the beach, great location in Grace Bay and proximity to restaurants, hotels and bars. Walking distance to coffee shops, grocery store & pharmacy/urgent care. However, our specific condo needs upgrades for sure. Furniture is worn, wear and tear is very evident. Coffee maker was cheap and flimsy, there is an old “ihome” device taking up counter space and a broken in-built microwave, making the counter top microwave a space killer. We made friends with other travelers in the Plaza and the resort proper and found out many of the condos were updated and beautiful. Ours was not.
The amenities were also misrepresented. The VRBO listing said we would have access to bikes and you do not. The smirking gear was broken, there wasn’t a cooler (property manager did bring one later), and there were not kids games of any sort. A bit disappointing.

We had a great time staying at the Ocean Club West Plaza. The condo had everything you need and is very spacious. We had one small issue that was resolved quickly. The decor is definitely dated but has that island feel. The kitchen needs non stick frying pans but that was not an issue. Bigger coffee cups would be great too.
The resort has a nice pool and the beach is amazing! You have free use of the beds and umbrellas. There are chairs and other items in the condo if you venture further afield.

This was just what we were looking for - clean, great air conditioning, comfortable beds , plenty of space and just had to walk across the resort to get to the beach.

Condo itself was perfect for our family of 4. Had everything we needed, fantastic location .
Small but nice exercise room at the resort.
Beach wasn’t too crowded and we could always get chairs. Nice to have the beach bar fight there for cool drinks.
Pool goes in a circle - large and fun for all ages.

Our checkin person/concierge was super friendly and helpful - gave us an overview of the island, arranged taxis, offered to help with anything . It was a little confusing how to check in , but she was waiting for us at the condo and found us after a few minutes of us walking around

You can use the pool, tennis courts and beach chairs but not all the resort amenities (can’t use the grills, bikes , towel service , check out rackets, have to pay for kayaks or SUP). They do provide towels and tennis rackets at the condo, so that was fine, but no paddle tennis rackets .
We didn’t rent a car and could walk everywhere , but next time I think I would get a car just to explore more.
If you like beachside snorkeling the. Definitely go to the West entrance to smith reef- it was great.
We would definitely come back here .

Great location! Able to walk to several places. We rented a car for airport, grocery, and various locations around the island. Easy check in/out. Able to use the Ocean Club West resort amenities without the prices! Leola was just a phone call away!

This property was such a find! All the convenience and proximity of a beach-front resort, but without the service charges and fees of a resort/hotel.
Property was exactly as pictured, and location was convenient. Walkable to stores, restaurants, and Grace Bay beach. My teen daughters could come and go independently from the beach, and we felt safe. In July, the heat was no joke, but the A/C works GREAT! We used the money we saved on a VRBO vs. a resort to charter a sailing trip and explore an uninhabited island. We jet skied, cliff jumped at Split Rock, Parasailed at Grace Bay beach, and used the snorkel gear at the condo to drive our rental car down to Smith’s Reef one morning to swim with the sea turtles.

Property location was great. The stairs was an issue at times. There were issues with the 2nd bedroom bath. Shower door did not contain the water to the shower so had flooded. Also the plunger for the sink was broken. We did report however was not repaired while we were there. Other than that enjoyed the overall property and facilities.

The condo was clean with comfortable beds and was a short walk away from beautiful Grace Bay beach. Check in was easy and Randy was always available to help. The location is very close to shopping and some great restaurants, so we didn’t need to rent a car!

The condo was super close to the Grace bay beach, only a 2-3 min walk back through the resort! They had beach chairs, snorkel gear, flippers, everything you would need to have a great stay. The property manager was really nice and worked with us during the check in process. I would highly recommend!

The condo was just as advertised. The venue was magnificent. We spent most days at the beach, but when we came back to the condo, we had what we needed; a kitchen with stuff to cook, a comfy bed and well appointed bathroom! Sitting out on the balcony was pleasant too in the evening. There is a short walk across the parking lot to get to the resort and the awesome beach. I will recommend the grouper for dinner at the restaurant as well...had to have it twice!! Thanks for letting us use your place!!

Everything met our expectations, Randy did such an awesome job explaining everything about our condo and the places to visit. We have 3 children and there was not a problem at all with no being an elevator. Groceries, restaurants, and shopping centers are within walking distance. The Ocean Club staff was so nice and the Solara restaurant was exquisite. Our Condo did not have an ocean view from our balcony but it was not a big deal since by the time we were at the condo we were extremely tired from a full day of activities that T&C had to offer. I would recommend Ocean club west at the plaza and We will definitely come back next year.

This was our first time to Turks and Caicos, and we had an AMAZING time. The location of this property was perfect. It was right within the Ocean Club West resort, and close enough to the supermarket, restaurants, bakeries, and more. The condo was super clean, although not luxurious. They provided everything we needed for the beach, tennis, the gym, etc. The wifi was great, and we had TV's for late at night, when we were tired. Randy was so helpful throughout our stay there, too, he helped us charter a boat, and even checked in on us to make sure we were having a good time. The restaurant on the property was good, and we had a little beach bar on the sand that provided drinks, and food as well. The resort's beach front was one of the prettiest on Grace Bay! We cannot wait to go back!

Our family of 5 enjoyed Ocean Club West and the proximity to dining and adventures. Our first time to Turks and it was a GREAT trip! We will be back! We could have used 3 bedrooms, but made it work with the pull out couch. Randy was a great help and quick to respond with concierge assistance!

This property was not part of Ocean Club West but sat at the back of the property. It was a little tired looking and needed a refresh. The balcony wasn’t covered and therefore unusable as it rained every day. It also faced the street and not the beach. The stairs (no elevator) were a problem with luggage and groceries. Setup in the condo was good in terms of bed/bath/kitchen Again, an upgrade is in order.

Had a wonderful time—everything was as described. Appreciated the proximity to Provo Golf Club, plenty of great restaurants like Coco Bistro and Solana (on-site), and of course Grace Bay Beach. Would not hesitate to make a return stay!

Overall, it was a great trip. The property was nice and served its purpose by providing a place to sleep. The less desirable aspects of our stay had to do with the fact that there are VERY limited amenities at the resort and even LESS accessible to us as a result of staying in the Plaza vs. Ocean Club West. We knew we’d have to bring our own pool/beach towels with us each day (which was fine as they’re provided in the unit), but the resort itself doesn’t have a concierge desk to help with booking excursions or provide any poolside or beach drink/food service which was a huge letdown. In addition, as Plaza visitors, we couldn’t use the bikes or get the discounted rate on our return COVID tests (we had to pay $50/person vs $25/person like hotel guests were able).
The pool was also unimpressive and cloudy the entire time we were there but I guess that was okay because we wanted the gorgeous ocean anyway!
The on-site restaurant was good, but they made it sound like there were SO many food options right downstairs which is not true. You have to walk about 10 minutes to get to most restaurants.
Finally, the TV and WIFI went out a few times and it was annoying but not the biggest issue.
Randy was great and always responded to my messages, but he really didn’t provide any added value (couldn’t help with rental car, taxi to airport, deal on excursion, etc).
Overall, great location and family trip but I’d probably pay a bit more to stay at a resort that offers more amenities as it would save me more $ in the end!

Everyone was quite nice, and the property is a nice place for a small family. The check in process was not great. They switched our room day of check in (because of broken refrigerator) and told us we would need to switch back 2 days later which is a pain unpacking and packing again (worst part of traveling). We switched back, but then the oven didn't work so we yet again were transferred to the other room. Furthermore, I woke up early the first day to cook breakfast and the fire alarm went off. No big deal, but it then sounded every day at the same time without reason waking up my kids (its very loud). We told our contact every day what was happening, but it took half of our trip to get remedied, possibly because my wife ultimately called the fire department and told them it was malfunctioning. If everything runs smoothly, it is possible to have a very nice trip here, but if you run into issues like we did, this place can be a huge pain and can really negatively affect what should be a relaxing vacation.

We loved our stay. The location was perfect and felt incredibly safe. Safe enough to let me teens walk into town. The condo was super clean and had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was quick & easy. My only issue is that I messaged the host several times in the weeks leading up to our departure & didn’t hear back until a few days before our trip, so that was incredibly stressful but it all worked out in the end. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Property was just as advertised--great furnishings and accommodations with access to all the things we most wanted to use at the resort--the beach facilities and the gym. The location is great since you can walk to so many restaurants and a very nice grocery store, and the beach is a quick walk from the condo. The only thing that was a little confusing was around needing to bring towels from the condo as the resort ones were on the "can't use" list. We'll be back!
