Pardlestone Farm is an idyllic rural Bed and Breakfast at the top of a narrow country lane. The hosts, Ann and Mark, were such a lovely couple and so helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the room and facilities.

Beautiful country house/horse farm in the middle of the Quantock Hills. Amazing cross country walking trails everywhere! If you’re a nature lover, you’ll love this as much as we did. Very cosy room and delicious breakfast - served in a typical old English country house. Anne & Mark were so accommodating and very helpful in booking our pub dinners and showing us the trails.

Ann and Mark were the perfect hosts.
We arrived early and were treated to tea and cake by Ann, and this warm welcome was extended throughout our two-day stay; breakfast (full English) by Mark were excellent, and served in the dining room alongside the log burner ticking away.
Nice touches in the bedroom, with 'proper' cookies, fresh milk on the fridge in the landing, and as many teas as you can shake a stick at.
Ann will help you with any walks you fancy, via as many pubs as you fancy, and over whatever distance you also fancy!!
Would we stay again, definitely yes.
Nothing, the property was as expected, well better actually. If you have a worry over single lane traffic / driving, then perhaps some be positive underpants would be needed, but we fortunately didn't face any oncoming traffic.

Gorgeous farmhouse with welcoming, attentive owners who went out of their way to make sure our stay was just right in every way. Lots of subtle extra touches, wonderful decor and great breakfasts.
Single track road to approach the property so care needed when driving up.

Excellent breakfast in a lovely house set in beautiful countryside

The hosts were extremely professional, polite, welcoming and generous. We were offered a cup of tea and cake on arrival and a fire was lit in the evening for us to read by. A fire was lit again for morning breakfast and a newspaper was at the table for us to read. The breakfast was the nicest we've ever had. The gardens are beautiful and available to enjoy.

Everything! The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, and the ensuite excellent. Very welcoming and caring hosts. Fantastic breakfasts. Lots of attention to detail - fires lit in the sitting and dining rooms, magazines and books to read, maps ... Beautiful location. Fantastic for walking, cycling & horse riding.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pardlestone Farm. We were happily greeted on our arrival and welcomed with tea and cake in the lounge with a roaring fire. Mark and Ann, our host and hostess were warm and friendly and certainly deserve a full score of a 10 in everything that they do.
The breakfast was exceptional and all food was fresh and all needs and requests were met.
The house is tastefully furnished and comfortable.
The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved taking the time to explore the region. The nearby pubs offered excellent food for evening meals.
We are looking forward to going back again.
We wish that we would have booked another day, but we had other commitments and couldn't stay longer.

Pardlestone Farm B&B was a delightful find for our visit to the Quantock Hills area.
Ann & Mark are fantastic hosts who really care about their guests experience during their stay. The communication from the time of booking, prior to and during our visit was welcoming and informative. They were only too happy to help us & fellow guests with travel arrangements, places to visit and the like.
Our stay was wonderful. The room was extremely comfortable & cleaned to a very high standard. The additional touches of fresh milk, biscuits & sweet snacks were lovely.
As for breakfast…..delicious, the tastiest full English we have ever had. Mark’s attention to guests individual preferences was fantastic and the dining room and provisions were a treat to the senses.
Our only regret is that time didn’t enable us to enjoy relaxing in the gorgeously inviting living room, a must-do for our next visit!
Thank you Ann & Mark for a truly wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect! Ann and Mark are amazing hosts and the setting so picturesque. Our room was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, Mark’s service is second to none and he made sure we had everything we needed and also lit the fire on the chilly nights which was lovely and cosy. Ann gave us some great tips for walking and we managed to walk 30 miles in 2 days. Very scenic walking routes from the door. Great to be in walking distance of a lovely local pub also. Looking forward to returning!

The room/B&B was immaculate, and the master bedroom is generously sized with a large comfortable bed. The location is idyllic and is an ideal spot for venturing on to the Quantocks. The hosts were very attentive, kind and provided a lot of assistance in helping us get the most out of Somerset in a short period of time. Finally, the breakfast was delicious and sizable, it set us up well for a very long walk! I hope I can stay here again and also introduce the place to my friends & family.

Delightfully charming and helpful hosts, wonderful breakfast, idyllic country setting.
The room and bed we had were really quite small, though we were well aware of this at the time of booking. If we stayed again we would definitely book the larger room.

This was our first family getaway with our one year old and Mark and Ann went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated for in every way. From bringing out their lovely dog Frankie for our son to meet when he was having a meltdown, to making sure he had a highchair and suitable breakfast options, nothing was too much trouble.
The breakfast is AMAZING - full cooked breakfast, homemade jams and toast, cafetière coffee - it felt like real luxury. We were so excited for it on the second day!
The little touches like the biscuits in the room are so lovely too.
There are beautiful horses and a goat to keep little ones entertained.
The location was perfect. We did a great walk to Kilve beach then back up on to the Quantocks (which Ann mapped out for us!).
We would stay here again without hesitation and agree with the other reviewer - it is the best B and B we have ever stayed in!
Thanks so much Mark and Ann.

Pardlestone Farm is a beautiful old farmhouse. Mark and Ann make their guests feel at home immediately on arrival with a roaring fire in the sitting room. Breakfast was a delight taken in the lovely dining room with yet another fire to greet you. Walks in the beautiful Quantock hills start from the front door. The village pub is just 15 minutes walk and the welcome and food there are both excellent

Anne and Mark are very welcoming and made us feel right at home. This was our second visit and we would like to think it will not be our last. The room was spotless and the breakfasts fantastic! It really is a great spot if you like walking or running, Anne and Mark are very knowledgeable about the area and have great suggestions for walking routes and places to eat, it was a pleasure staying with them.
