Hotel is a bit run down. Faulty bedside light in my room and fresh provisions not provided day 2

The room was lovely and the shower was amazing. I tried using the air con but it didn't cool down the room much and it interfered with the tv. I was woken up late at night by trolleys being taken outside then woken up again at 7:30am by the same noise. The toilet was a nightmare to flush. I appreciated complimentary treats in the fridge.

The service was good but the building fixtures could do with a bit of touching up, the bathroom could hardly fit two people, the bar and breakfast personnel were excellent

Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. Brilliant breakfast, plenty of choice.
Only downside was this hotel didn't except Tesco vouchers.

Big room, had air con comfortable bed. Welcoming staff with gym and pool for guests to use. Lovely buffet breakfast too.

Pleasant staff efficient good service all round room a bit dated could do with a spruce up

Really enjoyed our stay. Very happy nice staff. Great room / breakfast & facilities. You need a car for this hotel. It's 10 minutes to everywhere so central.

Enjoyed my stay. Good room and the food was nice.

This hotel was clean, tidy and to have the facilities of swimming, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi within the price was awesome. The only negative that I can give is that the room was booked for 3 people and only 2 cups/glasses and condiments given. I am sure I could have gone to reception and ask for more if needed. We just shared. Great place to stay

Poor Service!
Arrived at 8pm with my 14yr old son and 15yr old niece to our triple room with separate beds. 27 degrees outside and on arrival in the room the air conditioning was broken and a fan was circulating the hot air round the room so the hotel clearly knew it was broken. Unbearable heat and unable to stay in it. Spoke to reception and was offered a twin with a z bed which was not fit for a toddlers let alone a teenager, that the hotel had charged as adults for breakfast. After much haggling and refusing to pay towards a 2nd room, ended up putting my 14 son in his own room a way away down the corridor and doing shuttle runs with toiletries.

The orher guests would not mind their own business... they would play stupid stalking games whixh is upsetting to my girlfriend eva.

Tired property, felt surfaces could be wiped down a bit better, door needs painting as chipped, bathroom was clean but small. After breakfast i was locked out of my room, had to go back down to reception to get it sorted, other people were having the same issue, it seems we were automatically checked out after a certain time. Breakfast was good- variety. Okay for a 1 night stay, the property just needs some TLC.

Dont book here! This was the worst hotel in our 3 week journey. The room was tiny. It was sold as sleeps 3 but was a very narrow double bed and a “couch” bed that was not a fold out couch bed it. It was literally a couch with ottoman that was hard as a rock. The bathroom was the size of an airplane bathroom, had to stand over the toilet to open the door. The hot tub was not hot and shutdown at 8pm. Pool didn’t even allow you to jump in. I️ get not diving but jumping? How r kids supposed to have fun? We had the largest room they offer and it was so tiny we could barely open 3 suitcases and walk through.

It was quiet and relaxing

I was happy with everything apart from noise all night kept me awake, ironic really because i stayed there to get a good nights sleep because i have a noisy neighbour. I think the noise may have been air conditioning in the building, although i never put mine on in my room.Oh also i was upstairs and as i have a bad back and had to walk upstairs to my room and downstairs from my room it was difficult for me. I weren't aware of an upstairs when i booked the room . I enjoyed using the swimming pool. So just uncomfortable pillows and the noise. Otherwise 10/10 for everything else. My food was absolutely superb. I shall stay again.

Our premium room had a load of ants in it and you could feel them crawling over your feet and up your legs so we requested a room change. The staff were very helpful and said they would set us up with another room as we were staying two nights. We therefore packed all our stuff up and put it in the car and went out for the day. When we came back, we were given the key to our new room. Sadly they didn't have any premium rooms left so they said they had or is in a family room. When we got in there was only a double bed and no sofa bed for our daughter. I went to reception and they said they would sort it out. They got out this fold up bed which would have been ok for a toddler but not a 12 year old and she refused to sleep on it. I went back to reception and apparently they had given us the key to the wrong room! We went into the new room and the was a sofa bed made up but no fridge which comes with the premium rooms. I asked if we could have a fridge but they didn't have any spare. In all three of the rooms we went in, the air conditioning did not work in any of them and it was quite warm in the rooms.
The staff did try their best to help us out but it's a shame this happened. The swimming pool and spa facilities are great as is the breakfast. It's the second time we've stayed here and we booked a premium room but sadly didn't get a premium experience. We've been told they would give us a partial refund so just waiting to see what that will be.

Every thing was good great to have a swimming pool as well

Everything as expected but difficult getting in and out of bathroom due to it being small. King size beds would be better.

The property in general is good but the room needs improvement. The bed is too soft and the wheels on the bedframe makes it move. The shower is only half close and water spills out.

The room was tired and there wasn’t a fridge. It was otherwise ok.

Run down desperately needs a refurbishment, paint work in rooms poor, but sheets clean and beds comfy. Some tlc needed I think, breakfast was excellent 10 out of 10

Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Unfortunately air con wouldn't change setting so it got a bit too hot but luckily window opened. I would have liked a complimentary bottle of water to make hot drinks with as not nice using water from bathroom tap, I drove to a shop to get my own. Breakfast was amazing, spoilt for choice but would have been nice if they served it until a later time so that I could fit in a quick swim before. Overall it was a lovely stay and I will definitely be going back.

Room was not ready at check in time. Had to wait over half hour which caused anxiety as we needed to get ready for an event. Good breakfast

Easy and convenient access for Ipswich

The room was in a nice quiet part of the hotel and although we didn’t use all of the facilities those on offer were exceptional.
The breakfast was amazing and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked with the usual tea and coffee and towels and shampoo and shower gel.

The rooms were very clean and well equipped. Our stay was short and we did not use the swimming pool or gym. Plenty of parking. Good choice of breakfast foods. Highly recommend.

Wonderful clean hotel, staff are so helpful, great food and a fantastic leisure complex

Really good customer service. Food and bed was good. Would have been a great stay except for two things. No lift to first floor, so if you have luggage , mobility or pram requirements and lots of mould above us in the shower. Did get an offer of an alt room the next day but who wants to move mid break?
