The location, the view
This property (and certainly the rooms facing the port) has a very big problem: it is certainly NOT quiet! On the contrary there is a very significant noise problem as it is next to a music club that stays open until something like 5 o'clock in the morning!! The management is well aware of the problem and should warn customers accordingly but for obvious reasons told me that they will not do so. I certainly did not appreciate at all spending more than 300 euros per night and being unable to sleep for 3 nights!

300€ perdu . Le lendemain 14 sept à notre arrivée vers 10:00 , on a pu constater que l’hôtel était plein . Notre chambre annulée avait été relouée. Scandaleux.

The young lady serving breakfast is their best asset.
Not sure ‘like’ is the word we’d use but there is a communal kitchen if you want to make a cup of tea or coffee & it was very clean.
The room is dormitory like, the bed is very uncomfortable, hard & lumpy. The room we had (we probably had the worst one) had a window that looked straight into the window of the place next door so don’t think ‘view’, it’s not. The photos online have flowers, a painting & fruit in a bowl, take all that dressing out & you have just 2 single beds shoved together, an old wardrobe, 2 side tables & lamps. The hand held shower is not attached to the wall, anywhere, (apparently the wall had been retiled & perhaps just haven’t got around to it before renting it out!) there is no shower door or curtain & it’s so small I’m not sure how they’d ever solve the water spraying out onto the floor anyway.
There was rarely anyone at the reception desk.
So many stairs, they mention 35, there’s a lot more, there are two entrances, both have very steep stairs, some handrails & to go to breakfast more stajrs. Don’t even think about staying here if you don’t want to climb. I asked if someone could help with one suitcase & was told the man who could help was not on the island, and it was too dangerous for the only other person there. Too dangerous for staff but ok for a paying guest?
Overpriced for what is a very basic room. I think it was room 3 but definitely not going back to find out.

Location was great, just beside the main port. Breakfast delicious. Good service from a very busy waitress. Staff went above and beyond to get us there despite the ferry strikes.

very friendly and supportive manager who provides all the information needed about beaches, restaurants etc. on the island, convenient location in Hydra town, everything within walking distance, great view from the rooftop terrace where a lovely individual a la carte breakfast is served every morning

All facility where as advertised no complaints will stay again
Nothing to report

The hotel is located in the port area. Our room had an awesome view of the port. There was also a rooftop area where we had breakfast. The breakfast was great and the view from there was amazing. I believe the rooftop area could be accessed during the day. We were only on Hydra overnight so we were not able take advantage of that. Next time we will definitely stay more than 1 night. The staff was also very helpful with beach and restaurant recommendations.
Just like most places in Greece, there were numerous steps to climb to enter the hotel.

The location
The stairs were more than I anticipated and have an older person with me the stairs were a challenge for them.

The breakfast here is really good. You just sit at your table on the rooftop and a waitress brings you whatever you want on the menu. Nice options. Great location as you are close to everything near the port. View is beautiful from rooms #1 and #2. Staff is friendly and helpful.
A lot of stairs so if you have mobility issues this place could be a challenge.

Location, room , staff.
Very steep steps to hotel ! If you are disabled or have poor fitness I would not book this hotel.
Otherwise it’s lovely.

breakfast good and location great
The electrical sockets need looking at

Absolutely best roof top breakfast view in all on Hydra. Staff are unbelievably helpful and eager to please. The whole place is pristine clean. Stairs to get in are challenging but there is help with luggage.

The view from the garden terrace of harbor is the best. I could have just stayed there the entire day and relaxed. Love the breakfast ordered by menu with personal touch. the front desk staff Juliette was so helpful from check in to check out.
none (challenge with mobility be aware of steep stairs)

The location was fantastic, the view was amazing and the breakfast staff so lovely
The steep stairs to get in and the two sleeplessness nights we had due to the nightclub music below us that went until 6am the next day. Apparently it is common / regular, if we had known , we would not have stayed there ever .

the breakfast was poor

It was super windy so we could not sit on the roof top. but the breakfast was not good. fried eggs were literally swimming in sea of oil. looked like soup. not sure if person cooking had any training.

Perfect location, great service and clean big room.

The rooms are nice and well decorated , comfi beds and furniture . great and helpful staff (Ms Julieta) .
reasonable breakfast
The only issue was the staircase (about 35 in one property and about 24 in the other property ) which was hard for my old mother to climb. but that's the nature of Hydra island properties , as far as we found out

Perfect location, friendly staff, lovely airy room, breakfast on the rooftop.
Bed could have been more comfortable.

A lot of very steep steps up to it.

Location and the roof top terrace for drinks and breakfast was lovely.
All the steps with luggage !

The location was as good as it gets in Hydra, overlooking the port and the sea. The staff Julietta at the reception and Ioanna from the breakfast room were the kindest staff we met in our travels.

Amazing location, and the staff were great
Little bit on the expensive side
4.1
The staff were very nice. The breakfast on the
rooftop was good. The location was perfect. The accommodation had a very relaxed feeling about it. The garden area was a lovely place to relax in the heat of the afternoon.
The stairs are quite steep but there was a railing. if you have any physical issues with stairs then this is not a place for you.

We had a great time at this property!
I cannot find anything not to like. Only one small suggestion to the landlord: We felt the need for an extra shower window so that there wouldn't be necessary to prevent water drip outside it (shower was not fully enclosed).
4.1
The location was perfect, staff was very helpful and friendly, delicious breakfast with a view and very cozy and comfortable rooms. Would highly recommend!
4.1
It is right on the waterfront and it has one of the few rooftop breakfast/drinking areas in Hydra
Steep steps no elevator, room only serviced one day out of 4
