Probably should be called a hostel rather than a hotel, certainly won't be staying there again.
2.0
Staff all very friendly and efficient, room clean , shower not great as had to be moved as walk in shower and floor angle it flooded the bathroom , also I no everyone have there preferences but double bed was very firm would not put me off staying again , 5 mins walk to millennium bridge and 20 mins walk to town and station
1.0
Uncomfy beds and cleanliness is poor
2.5
All staff were friendly and professional
1.5
Overall fine. The only downside was £10 per night parking on a rough area as main parking was full. Was also called by phone whilst out enjoying to move my car to accommodate coaches, this spoilt our first night. The hotel should review the parking issue giving priority to paying guests, not staff, and mark an area for coach parking.
1.5
Served the wrong evening meal, only an apology as I chose to eat less than half to avoid eating separately to my wife.
On checking out I found the process abrupt and refused a VAT invoice saying it could not be done
2.5
Will definitely use this hotel again because of the staff and overall cleanliness and decor. The front desk and servers at breakfast could not have been more friendly and helpful. I travel a lot and don’t always have such a welcoming atmosphere! The ladies at breakfast were particularly amiable.
2.5
1 night stay with partner and dog.Check in was polite and quick room was spotless clean car parking on site 5 minute walk to quayside

Friendly guy on the reception desk, furniture in the room was very poor condition and the room was very warm with no aircon

One of the most friendliest check ins I’ve had
2.5
Staff were brilliant throughout from the reception/bar and breakfast service. Rooms were spacious and they read the notes about me using crutches and gave me accessible room
0.5
Dirty looking from outside , very noisy as full of stag party’s on weekend making noise early hours, beds not comfortable hard and very old same with duvets old need new ones
2.5
We chose this hotel because of location as we were going to see Bruce Springsteen at The Stadium of Light in Sunderland. Hotel was very convenient for the Metro.
The staff were fantastic and very willing to help!!
2.5
Overnight stay after seeing a band at The Glasshouse. Large, clean, comfortable room. Only complaint was the Uber heavy, Uber warm duvet!
2.0
This is a hotel with standard facilities in its class.
However, I found shower hose to be broken as well as the drain completely blocked - unsure how this was not spotted by room service. Did they clean the shower area and tested the shower?? It was too late to change the room at the point I found out about this so very inconvenient.
The staff were pleasant but miss a little bit of hotel etiquette one expects at a hotel of this type. The WiFi is poor and requires handing over personal details to a third party.
Shady local characters in and around lobby/entrance - this does not inspire confidence. Perhaps invest in security?
The hotel does have a car park.

Too many homeless people around dealing and smoking pot, all drinking cans of beer outside the hotel and asking for cigarettes. They all live at the hotel.
I didn’t feel safe at all, always felt intimidated and obliged to give them a cig under pressure.
I was being watched every time I left and enter my room. Not a nice experience after spending sporadically 3 years at this, once, my favourite hotel.
Never ever been in a different hotel in Newcastle. I think it’s time to try something different. Rooms are so lovely, beds are amazing, the bar is incredible!!…but I don’t feel safe.
4.0
Good hotel, a few niggles (no shower gel, TV remote didn't work) but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
1.0
Bed was comfy. Shower was adequate.
Buffet breakfast as with every one, is quite hit n miss, as you need to get there went the fresh stuff is brought out.
One incident left a very sour taste in the mouth. On our 2nd night we ordered food via just eat. We were sat in the bar watching the front door. Just eat delivery arrived , and we received confirmation via just eat, it had arrived. The night security chap refused to give us our food. We asked polietly, what he had ordered, as we had been sat in the bar and saw the delivery arrive.
A reception member of staff came over, and asked where the food had been ordeed from , to clear up any misunderstanding. No response from the chap. Both myself and the receptionist rang our take away and said, it had been dropped off in the hotel. We walked away, went back up to our room and ordered again via another establishment. This was delivered outside the hotel on my instruction. On walking back through the hotel i noticed a further 2 x takeaways behing security chap.....coincidence??

The process from checking in to finding the room, the comfort of the bed and checking out at the end, there was no issues, we got given fresh new towels while we was out in the city center when the cleaners did a mid stay clean.
