Friendly staff, good food options at breakfast.
Bedroom decor very dated and minimal facilities, had to change our key cards twice due to not working.
Felt the room was overpriced for what we received.

Very Basic - not comfortable at all. Bathroom is so small - literally a place to put your head, wouldn’t stay in room for any time.

Clean and comfortable. Good location. Pleasant staff.

Clean comfortable beds, hot shower all you need from budget hotel. Will use ibis again

Room needs a bit of refurbishment. Insufficient sockets, no USB charging ports. Bathroom is quite new and clean though.
Poor noise isolation, you can hear flush in the toilet pipes and talkings from the next rooms.
Helpful staff.

It’s was a pleasant stay a bit expensive £203 per night with breakfast
The other problem I had was it was cashless
Which I’m personally not a fan off but each to there own

Good position near beautiful temple meads station and canal. Staff were so helpful and friendly

Bathroom was odd, plastic room in middle of the bedroom. Door didn’t close fully. Booked a twin room but was a double bed with a chair pull out for the second bed. Not ideal or what I paid for.
Close to the train station was the main positive.

This hotel is very dated smell musky abd cigarette smoky . The noise is unbearable in room 220 as builders start work at7am outsde window. Awful experience

The hotel felt quite dated and the air-conditioning was broken for all three nights of my stay. The room was very hot as a result and the window could only be opened a few centimetres. When I mentioned the air-conditioning to the hotel staff I was give a small and dirty desk fan that was close to useless for addressing the temperature in the room. I would recommended staying at a different hotel in the warmer months.

Lots of construction work in the area and the hotel room was noisy (could tear every flush of a toilet from all floors directly above the room) - I was on first floor.

Perfect location for a shopping trip with my daughter. Ideal for both the train station and shops. All within walking distance. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable.

The advertised aircon was not aircon so the entire stay was uncomfortable and hot. Construction work was going on right outside my window which I was not made aware of which meant I couldn’t leave my window open. I requested a fridge which is required for my medication (insulin so can’t exactly go without) and was told the only option is to put it in the fridge behind reception. Would you want to inject life saving medication into your body that hasn’t been kept on your person/within your private space not knowing if it had been tampered with? I wouldn’t! Not to mention the attitude of the member on staff on reception when I queried about a fridge.

No pillow menu....the pillows provided were hard

My top priorities in choosing a hotel are comfort, cleanliness, safety, location, and cost.
Ibis fails on number 1. The A/C is so underpowered, it might as well not exist. They've also locked the windows for "safety," so that they only open a small crack. The room was so grossly hot and uncomfortable, it wasn't even funny.
Fortunately, the temp dropped the second night and it was more comfortable. In that case, this is an acceptable place to stay. It is on the opposite side of the train station from most of the town, so be prepared for 15-20 min walks to most places.
Other than that, it was a good hotel. Would recommend a long as you're sure it won't be a hot day when you visit

Very friendly staff and a clean and comfortable room, close to Temple Meads station. Not the hotel's fault, but atm there is building work going on opposite to the hotel, which wasn't the nicest view I've had from a hotel window!

Building work going on outside hotel from 07.30 till sometimes 8pm + cleaners good but soap and shampo in shower was empty when we arrived, no fridge, and no closed storage only clothes rack with 4 hangers and a few shelves , no map provided of surrounding area etc , im a bristolian been living and still living away but even i got lost a few times. Picture when u book is a bit misleading

Pros:
A quick walking distance from the station which is very convenient. Free early check in was offered by joining their scheme. Friendly staff. Good shower.
Cons:
No small towels and one small bin in the room. Unusual air conditioning system wasn't keeping the room comfortable at all. It was hot & humid throughout the stay.

The property was just what we needed for our stay, being right by the train station but not close enough to be disturbed by anything. The air cooling unit was a bit rubbish and didn't work so we had to use two fans to try and keep ourselves cool as we couldn't have the windows open with there being building works outside. The staff were great and helpful and check in and check out were easy.

Very close to temple meads station, but very quiet

Very helpful staff. Jamie on the front desk offered to help during a difficulty with the global IT outage.
thanks

Modern hotel very clean and good staff. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Downside noisy outside my side of hotel meaning I needed to use ear plugs and seagulls making a racket in the early morning. Other than that recommended as it’s very central.

Convenient location and good service. The area is a little noisy but not too disruptive

Close to Bristol Temple Meads. Flat easy walk to station with nearby cafe
Hotel is very comfortable with nice bar breakfast service

Great hotel: modern, clean, great service, I didn't try the restaurant. Location is a bit out of the way. There's a great little pub/restaurant a couple of blocks east, but otherwise it's a 10-15 minute walk into town for decent food options. Very close to the train station though. Great bakery near the train station.

Excellent stay in a new hotel. Facilities were great. Comfortable beds and lots of space. Reception staff were brilliant. Very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Walking distance to Bristol centre.

One room had been refurbished and the other not. Refurbished room spacious and nice, other room very dated and uncomfortable.

Close to station. What you expect for Ibis

Nice receptionist. Very easy checkin & out + storing luggage experience. Located within 5mins walk to the train station so very convenient. Can get a little noisy at the moment if you are still in your room after 9:00am as somethings are getting done right next to the site. Otherwise it’s fine. Bathroom ventilation is like nonexistent but air con. is strong so that helps a lot. This Ibis is like a student studio room. Good overall for a short stay.

A hotel with nice clean rooms close to Temple Meads station. The rooms were a little small, but overall pretty good. Staff was friendly and helpful toward any questions.
Entrance was a little difficult due to the construction in the area.
4.0
Poor shower quality. Poor amenities. Good area, next to the temple meads train station. Terrible old rooms with only one outlet throughout the entire room. Newly refurbished rooms are better but subject to availability. Bring your own slippers and toiletries.
4.0
Basic room that did the job and was as expected. The only issue was the air conditioning did not work and the room was very warm.
4.0
Liked the new room. Tables at bedside not the best very uneven. Can't just put on side read llights on and put the main lights off.
Otherwise a very good experience

All good. Great location for train.

Hotel room 710 was top floor, unfortunately right next to the lift shaft so very noisy. Soon get used to it tho. Room very basic, plug sockets were lacking in amount and in the most obscure places. None near the bedside tables. No drawers in the room. Contact the front desk by WhatsApp. There’s currently work going on at the hotel so factor that into your stay when booking. Looks like the hotel is being refurbished. Our room hadn’t been done yet. Bathroom was like a little internal pod, small but fully functioning. Shower was good. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on the bar area.

I had a lovely stay at ibis! Our room was a bit stuffy, but it looks like they plan to address this soon with their renovations. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Renovation work so noisy during day, bathroom door very squeaky waking my partner up overnight, toaster for breakfast very temperamental, room very warm overnight and could not figure out how to work thermostat.
