About this house rental

Spacious contemporary home in West Newport perfectly located by the beach and the North end of the bay, Newport Island and nearby amenities. Two bifold glass wall systems connect the open living area to the outdoor patio. An open chef’s kitchen, anchored by a professional Thermador range, double refrigerator and two drawer dishwasher, large island, and a breakfast bar, is perfectly suited for a single or multi family grouping. The home features five bedrooms and three and one-half baths, with sleeping accommodations for ten guests, with two of the bedrooms on the ground floor. The upper level features a large master suite with a full ensuite bath. The fifth bedroom is studio like featuring a mini kitchen area. Rounding out this Saltwater Paradise is a charming rooftop deck to take in the ocean and harbor vistas. Close proximity to grocery, many dining options, shopping and endless activities. House does not have air conditioning.

Our family had a wonderful vacation and this house worked perfectly for the 9 of us. The location was great, about a block and a half from the beach. Luckily the garage fit two of our cars, because finding parking for the other two was difficult. We would consider renting this property again.

Everything was exactly as described, plenty of room for all 10 of us. The master bedroom pictures don't do it justice so much room in there. The fans in all the bedrooms really helped in the heat of summer. Would definitely rent again.

Our extended family of 8 adults and an infant had plenty of room in this lovely spacious home. Thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities, especially in the gourmet kitchen. Have stayed in Newport in the past, and found this home and its location to be perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Perfect house, perfect location! This property is exactly how it is described in the listing. We had a good size group that fit perfectly with plenty of space. This house was the most stocked vrbo we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed everything the house had to offer and are already planning to return!

Beautiful property a block away from the beach. Clean & spacious home, close to all the amenities you need for a great vacation. Owners were very nice & accommodating and were quick to respond our questions or concerns. We plan to rent this property many times in our future trips & vacations. Walking distance to many good restaurants & stores. Definitely a 5 STAR property.

We have stayed at several properties in Newport Beach and this had mostly all good things. The kitchen was very updated and beautiful. The living space was excellent for gathering around and each of the rooms were far enough away that you didn’t feel cramped. The garage was big enough for 2 smaller cars and they had a ton of beach supplies and the front of the house had a nice deck! All in all I was very happy and would rent from this home again. The few bad things was it was party central on Friday and Saturday night and several of the homes near us there was screaming , heavy drinking , cars revving and none of the grand kids could sleep so that was miserable. I also think for me air conditioner is a must. When you come from the desert and the humidity is 0 and you go to the beach where it was 85% you need something that can cool down the house and get rid of some of that sticky moisture . I thought all in all this home was a B+

We enjoyed the location of this house, as there were restaurants, coffee shops, & fast food within walking distance, however the neighborhood was still very quiet and within walking distance from the beach. We were actually able to fit two small SUVs in the garage too. Additionally it was nice to have bikes to use on the property and we enjoyed the balconies on all 3 floors, especially the first floor with the folding doors.

The location was great—between the bay and the beach. You do have to cross Balboa Blvd to get to the beach. There is a bay side park near the house with a jungle gym, swings, and a sand access to the bay. With 5 bedrooms we had great sleeping accommodations. The master suite was sweet and roomy!! The shower had double rain heads and triple body sprayers, and a hand held sprayer. Kitchen appliances where a serious up grade—large gas stove for skilled chefs. Down side for some was that there is no A/C. The upstairs bed rooms got a little warm but the windows helped with that and there were rotating large floor fans too—once we got the hang of things the bedrooms cooled off enough to sleep comfortably. The 4 cruiser bikes were in great shape and a lot of fun. One of the bikes was a little smaller for older kids or adults under 5’3”. The beach chairs and sand toys were great but the boogie boards were smaller styrofoam ones and all were cracked in the middle—you might want to bring your own. We fit a compact car and a mini van in the garage…that was awesome! The owners are easy to communicate with and very helpful. The internet was good enough for two of us to do our jobs remotely. I’d definitely recommend this home.

Everything was as represented in the listing. Short walk to the beach. Very nice property. Parking is problematic, we had 3 cars and did some shuffling between the garage and the street. The house came with 4 great bikes which we took full advantage of. Easy communication with the owner.

Location was great, house was spacious with an awesome kitchen and open floor plan. Beach was close and was no problem to walk with a wagon of toys snd young children. Extra bikes, beach chairs and beach towels were definitely a plus! A house I would rent again!

We loved our stay at this vacation rental. Having the bikes was a must for us. We rented a van which didn’t fit in the garage so we parked the van and used the bikes to get around. The property is nice and clean and housed 11 of us comfortably. My family used to spend our summers growing up in Newport. It was during this particular stay I received the news of my mom’s passing. I’ll forever be grateful for my surroundings and the memories this place brought back to me at this time.

Our family came together to celebrate a wedding in the family and needed 5 bedrooms. Sheila's property delivered! The kitchen and family area were beautiful, modern, spacious and allowed us to cook to our hearts desire. We love cooking, eating and chatting and this was a great property for this and enjoying the outdoors while inside with it's fabulous front folding french doors. Everything was cleaned and well stocked with dishes and needed utensils. We did find the top back bedroom to be very hot and would bring an extra fan next time. Parking, as with any place in California can be tough but we really appreciated the two car garage and the wonderful bikes available to us to use! We could not have had a better time!
