My family and I threw my daughter a High Graduation Celebration. We had a wonderful time. The house was everything the pictures describe. Pierre was a great host. Communicated with me the whole way. You won’t be disappointed at the Knight House.

My family and I had a good stay at this property. There were a few things that the host may want to consider going forward to enhance hosting at this property.
1. On the website, the bed layout/ room layout states that in the bottom room there would be two sets of bunk beds and there was only one, so that was something the family had to make an adjustment on.
2. Towels and kitchen utensils. Families will see the number of guest the property can accommodate and assume that there is enough towels and kitchen utensils but there were not. As a courtesy, we purchased towels/kitchen utensils and left them both for future use.
3. I was told to park on the street which ever vehicle could not fit against the fence. However by doing so we woke up to two parking tickets on cars due to the hidden street sign stating no parking at the beginning of the block.
With the exception of those three issues the house was good. The host was attentive and easy to get in touch with. Nice property, lots of space and the attentive host made this a good stay.

I made my decision to rent here based on VRBO site reviews and pictures, as well as a video of the neighborhood. When I arrived to the property to check in it was not at all what I had gleened from those pieces of data. The street and general area included blight, homeless persons, razor wire, broken glass in the streets and nightclubs backing up to the subject property. I felt very unsafe about coming home to the property after dark, and asked for a refund based on the street not looking anything like the video posted. I was told by the owner, Pierre, who was extremely nice BTW, that it was not his fault that the city's video was old and out of date, and for that reason, not his fault that the online description was not as it turned out. If you are female or elderly I would suggest you look at a map of high crime areas in Houston before you book unless that does not bother you. I did not appreciate the way VRBO handled this after the fact, which was to ignore my issues. This was a very expensive lesson for me to be more detailed in my research before booking again with VRBO. I decided to leave and book 2 expensive hotel rooms for my group which nobody reimbursed. Let me stress, this property is close to NRG, the zoo and the medical center area as stated, the inside was as described and pictured, and he does have cameras in the driveway.

The property was well maintained. The only thing I would say is the number of stairs in the property was not well presented on the pics. Made it difficult for those of us with bad knees, lol. Overall, a great property. I would recommend it.

Worked well for us and made it easy to get to NRG

It was a convenient location in a bad part of town. The place had a cool layout. It just needs a little TLC. Stair handrails were very shaky and one bathroom had a broken toilet seat. We never found a hot tub but all in all it worked out well for sleeping arrangements.

This place was not clean, the walls and floor were dirty. Throughout the house were signs for a $30 charges if you did not return things to a specific spot. The bed in one of the rooms broke while we were there.
The TV/projector in the living room never did work.
There was no soap, only two garbage bags, and hard toilet paper that just sat on the back of the toilet.
This place is also not good for small children as it is three stories.
The last night there I sent a message because we wanted to use the washer, it appeared that there was a charge to use the washer. Not sure because I never heard back for the owner.

We absolutely loved our stay everything was so close even with crazy Houston traffic. Absolutely will be my go to place to stay every time I come back.

Nice modern home. Clean. Good communication with owner.

House is close to a park and stores. But guests should be advised that the home is 3 stories with stairs, so there is no wheel chair accessibility to the level where the kitchen is. And should consider this if guests are elderly. There were no pots for cooking only a frying pan. Only 3 stools for eating on the island. So good spot if you’re just going to be out and about, exploring the city. More suited for a young, active group.

We booked this beautiful home to surprise my son for his 18th birthday and it was what was seen and more. The host responded back in a timely manner. We would be booking again soon and referring friends and family!
Thanks

The house is immaculate. We loved that there was a pool table. The only things you need to be aware of is there are a LOT of stairs. It is 37 stair steps to the third floor master, although there is one bedroom on the ground floor. There is no dining table and only 3 stools for the kitchen bar, so my kids ate standing up. There were only plates and such for four people, we used paper plates.
I’m not really complaining because we loved the stay, you just need to be aware of a few things before you check in.
The master bathroom is beyond anything I would have imagined for this house. Double walk in shower and a tub beside it.
Beds were average not the softest, but nothing to keep you awake.
Again, my boys loved the pool table, so the trade off for the dining table was fine for us.
There is a park right across the street.
Close to just about anything we needed.
We would definitely stay here again!
Overall a great place to stay with family.
