We had a great vacation. This home has everything you could want. We loved the Expresso Machine. And having a direct path to the Blue Ridge Mountain to Sea Trail was perfect. We could hike as far as we wanted without ever getting in the car. Being able to put the car in a garage is always a big plus and having a dumb waiter for our luggage was great. The owners were terrific.

The house is very private and secluded in a beautiful setting. It has easy access to hiking trails, but it is only minutes from restaurants and a grocery store. If you are inclined to cook in, the kitchen is probably the most well stocked of any VRBO I have ever stayed in and the quality of the cookware is incredible for a rental. The furnishings are pet friendly and the large yard provides your dog with plenty of room to roam. The fact that it is fenced in makes keeping your pet totally stress free.
Communication with the owners was simple and helpful.
One really nice detail is that the owners left a vase of freshly cut flowers on the dining table. That was a very nice touch.

This is such a beautiful, romantic and peaceful property. Husband and I loved feeling alone in the woods yet surrounded by eclectic art and cozy furnishings. The outdoor bath is a must do. Husband is a cyclist and took the lower path to the Mountain to Sea trail then to the Blue Ridge Parkway for an amazing hike daily. Close enough to town for great eating and sightseeing. Loved it!

Location great close to everything including hiking trails. Yet far enough away to be peaceful. Owners Jane and Scott were very responsive. The house and property were very well taken care of. Full of all comforts and great vibes. Loved being there. Kitchen was full of everything we needed to bake and cook. Outdoor areas were very much enjoyed. Loved the outdoor tub!

My family stayed in this beautiful home while visiting relatives in Asheville. It was so comfortable and welcoming that we spent plenty of time there reading, watching hummingbirds on the back porch, putting together puzzles and listening to my son learn to expand his guitar skills.
The home is close to everything while maintaining a more remote natural feel which is nearly impossible to do. It was lovely to watch chipmunk and birds while taking an outdoor shower and the sun on the front porch while drinking coffee each morning was heavenly.
We hope to be back each summer to experience the spirit and magic of the Blue Ridge mountains in this beautiful retreat.

We loved staying in this creative, unique home for our trip to NC! Space for everyone, and anything needed available. Excellent kitchen for cooking, private and peaceful fenced backyard with a porch great for relaxing in the early morning hours with a cup of coffee or visiting any time of day. We brought our city pups and they didn't want to leave the lovely yard! The beds were SO comfortable and everyone slept well- not always the case when traveling. Trails were easy to access right from the property. Communications with the owner were lovely. The outdoor shower was such a treat to experience! We'll definitely stay here again if available on our next trip.
