About this house rental

Welcome to Sunshine By The Sea! This home has proven itself to be a great vacation for families. New owners have brightly freshened this home with new furnishings for a great vacation stay! There are plenty of activities inside and outside for a great vacation! Two common areas plus a game room provide enough space for everyone to enjoy their favorite activities and that's just inside! The pool is such a bonus! Not many front beach homes have all of this and a pool! The pool can be heated at a cost of $50 per day. For any day when outside temperatures are 50 degrees or below pool will not be heated.

The kitchen is spacious and equipped for several cooks to prep for meals alongside each other and still see the ocean views. There is plenty of room to spread out on the main level for meals and just relaxing! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are on this main floor.

Downstairs the feel is all about fun! The game room has plenty of options - a pool table, ping pong table, tabletop shuffleboard/bowling and a TV to watch the game! The game room opens out to the pool and grill area. There are 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on the ground level also.

IMPORTANT: Folly Beach has strict rules about noise and events that can result in violations and fines. NO EVENTS are allowed at this house. This is in a residential neighborhood we ask all guests to be respectful of the neighbors who live here year round and respectful of our beautiful beaches.
This home also has 2 Ring doorbells and security cameras on the street side, side and pool side of the home.

House was just as listed and pictured. Clean. Great place to stay with family as pool was a nice afternoon relaxing place. Loved the large screened in porch. Prompt response from property manager when I called with a question. Will book again for next year. Thanks for the welcome gift!!

Property was as described. Great location. Lots of space for our large family and everyone had their own room. Views from the patio were amazing. Was great to be able to walk out and right onto the beach. The pool was great to have for evenings and afternoon. Basketball hoop was a plus as our family is very competitive. We had an issue with the outdoor lighting not working and that was taken care of the next day. Lots of counter and storage space in the kitchen. Only minor suggestion I would have Is stock more forks. We were having to wash between meals for our family of 11. Overall great experience as always in Folly.

This is a nice property in a great location. It does not blow your socks off with a huge common living area or lush bathrooms (every bathroom has one sink, unfortunately), but you are really close to the beach, the AC works great, the kitchen is decent, there are plenty of bedrooms, the pool is lovely - you can have a really nice Folly Beach experience here. We certainly had a great time!

This is a wonderful house; it was conveniently located, it had everything we needed from beach towels to games and everything in between. Lots of room for everyone. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and the beachfront was great. Plenty of beach chairs and pool toys. We will definitely come back to stay again!

Nothing but good things to say about this property and the management team that allowed for a seamless stay. Beautiful view, great access to the ocean, and super accommodating for a large party. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine by the Sea. It was a great opportunity for our children and grandchildren to come together and create cherished memories. The heated pool was a favorite, especially with the grandchildren, since the weather was a little cool during our stay. The host and representative were very attentive to our questions and quick to respond. In fact they went above and beyond when someone came to the house to set up Hulu for us so we wouldn’t miss the NCAA basketball tournament games.

Pier is beautiful. Bert’s has everything you need. View from house is spectacular. Ft. Sumter & museum outstanding. Downtown Charleston wonderful. Dungeon tour excellent. Escape room folly beach great. Game room in house great fun!

Property management was VERY helpful checking us in when we experienced a hiccup in our itinerary. Very, very, very clean! I am a clean freak and felt very comfortable from the second I walked in and looked around. We had a large group and there were plenty of dishes, pans, and silverware provided. Well kept up with beautiful landscaping. Homeowner neighbors were at their residence next door and very friendly and even apologetic about their dogs barking at us (even though the dogs weren't very loud). Large, screened in deck was perfect for family night time board games and cards (also provided). Deck was also great for morning coffee and dolphin watching! Lots of tvs and private spaces for decompressing. Great location away from the busy downtown area, but not too far. Beach was never busy. You won't regret booking this house!

Both my brothers and their friends/families were all equally pleased with this property. The rooms were clean and there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen was a favorite with our cooking family! Views from porch were perfect! The pool was enjoyed by a few of our brave group members, too cool for some but that comes with territory in October. Communication with property management was clear and prompt. We enjoyed our week away from home at beautiful Folly Beach. Thank you for offering this property and for your hospitality! Highly recommend this property! My family and friends came to the beach with me and we had a blast. The house was amazing. We spent a lot of time on the porch and in the pool. It was very relaxing. The view was wonderful and the beach was not overly crowded. We definitely plan to come back.

What a great house! We previously stayed in this property 10 years ago and enjoyed it. This trip, with new owners and a complete update it was amazing! Beach front with a short walkway. We had 13 people, age range of 8 to 73. There was plenty of space for all ages to have their own space. Our main gathering spot was the large screened porch. The game room with a pool table, ping pong, and shuffle board was a huge hit! The kitchen had everything we needed and more! Can't wait to come back next year!

This home was perfect for our stay. Wonderful location on the beach, close but not too close to the busy area in town. The large screened porch overlooking the ocean was so enjoyable! Comfortable bedroom layout plenty of bathrooms, there wasn’t anything missing that we needed to make our trip complete.
