Great stay and clean place
4.6
Great location with short walk to Wrigley Field and Lake Michigan. Quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The unit is a bit worn and kitchen could be better stocked. Still, everything was fine for our trip to see a couple Cubs baseball games.
4.6
It is in a cute neighborhood that is very safe and the place is very cozy and easy to access. Parking could be hard to find but it wasn’t terrible.
4.6
Great location, not well stocked.

My husband & I and 2 sons & sister went to see some baseball at Wrigley for a few days over July4th. We were very happy & comfortable with this classic house, which is deceptively SO nice inside. Very clean & roomy in a Great location.

All was good except paid for a parking pass and had to park a half mile away in a hospital garage due to a pride festival! Asked for a refund but never heard back! Place was fantastic other than the parking!
4.6
Comfortable accommodations, spacious with adequate sleeping for all 8 of us, convenient location to get to Wrigley field quickly!

Everything went really well.

Very good experience all around.

The family had a really lovely time in this vintage house. The location is a perfect home base to walk the city.
A note about accessibility - I wouldn't recommend this vrbo for those with limited mobility.
4.6
Five of us arranged a trip to Chicago to take in a Cubs vs White Sox game and found the VRBO a perfect location to attend a game at Wrigley Field.
The price was reasonable and very much in line with other properties in the area.
My only issue was with a parking ticket the morning after arrival due to street cleaning of which I was unaware. We are working with the City to rectify this.

My friends and I stayed here when visiting Chicago and it was a really nice time.

An easy walk to Boys Town, the lake, and Wrigley Field. Safe neighborhood, very quiet.

Property needs many upgrades, parking is a nightmare but that’s not the hosts fault, no AC at the time but apparently those get installed when it gets above 90 but was still hot after coming back from a 1:20 cubs game on a sunny day. Neighborhood was fine, accommodations were fine. Nothing more, nothing less. Expected more for the price, but provided what was needed for the most part.

This property is in a great location within walking distance to all the fun bars/restuarants in Wrigleyville. It is described as vintage but would definitely be better with updating and TLC. Not sure if our group actually found any air conditioning, so fans would have helped. No onsite parking available, but street parking passes available for $20. It looks like this building has lots of potential !

Overall our experience was positive. The listing is slightly misleading as there is parking and laundry available, but it is for a fee. Also, there is no hot tub or grill/bbq. The price is right though especially if you don't have a car to park. Parking is somewhat difficult, but that is Chicago's fault, not the hosts. Communication with the hosts was easy and they responded quickly. The house is more for a bunch of guys going to a Cubs game than a family that intends to cook meals and hang out. Some kitchen utensils were not available and there wasn't really enough dishes and silverware. Also, I would recommend bringing your own toilet paper if you are picky about that sort of thing. The hosts do not splurge on the required amenities.

Had a great time at the property. Location was convenient for walking to Wrigley to enjoy a Cubs game.

Stayed the night for a show in Chicago, great location and plenty of room for four adults each having their own space.

Loved the location. We loved how convenient the apartment was to everything. Close to many restaurants, Wrigley and the L.

Justin was an amazing host for our quick weekend getaway to celebrate our friend. Great communicator, very clean living space. Would definitely stay at this place again!

Nice location

Awesome. My two nephews and youngest son came to the Cubs season opener. It was very convenient walking to Wrigley. It was an experience for the boys to see where their mother grew up. My sister made me a Cubs fan and it was a blessing to bring her boys to Chicago. The apartment was everything it was read about on the internet. Great Place.

Great location for walking to Wrigley, Northalstead, and Addison stop. The neighborhood is beautiful and perfectly located. We used public transit easily for the duration of the trip. Just one train transfer directly from Midway. The basement level was chilly and smelled a little, we left the exhasut fan running in the bathroom to help. Recommend some extra blankets down there. Also, the basement level sofa bed blocks the stairs when open, maybe a daybed would be better for this area but all in all, we enjoyed this space to relax after busy days.

Property and furniture were a bit tired but that is reflected in the price. The location was great!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very spacious and in a great location. Please note that parking is not included and not onsite. I had trouble getting in contact with the owner regarding the parking situation.
4.6
Clean, cozy place to stay with a close walk to Addison Metro!

Beautiful neighborhood and the place was well kept and clean. Would be happy to come back again. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice having the master bedroom in the basement.
I wish I would have known the “coffee maker” was a Kuerig and not a coffee pot. But that was quickly remedied by a trip to the store.
While parking is “available” (for an additional fee) it’s “first come, first served” street parking. Coming from a rural area where parking is never as issue, I struggled with that.
On the other hand, the neighborhood felt welcoming and safe.

My family stayed here for a long weekend. Before the trip, I asked the host why I was being charged $50 for an extra person when the place sleeps 8 and we have 7 but I never heard back from him, which was disappointing. The check-in instructions were perfect.
We loved the brownstone building on the outside, which could be 100 years old or more. The apartment has some cool old details that seem original but beyond that, the house felt really neglected. The furnishings were old and mismatched throughout with loose door knobs (one ruining the original butler's pantry!?). Water damage from the showers that looked like the owner tried to fix at one time. Floor into the kitchen was sad to see. When we first arrived, the "lower level" where the king-sized bedroom suite was, smelled funky. The smell seemed to go away or we got used to it. The full-size rollout couch was down there as well, which seemed odd. I presumed it would be in the living room. The bathroom downstairs needs to be redone and the upstairs bathroom could be as well, even though that did have some upgrades.
The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows, either slits of foam or an entire foam bag, made for a rough sleep. We had to plug in lights if we wanted to use them, which may be a safety feature but I don't know.
We could hear the neighbors outside and upstairs at times during the night as well.
The heat worked great and the water was good.
Great place with some TLC!
Thank you!

Brought spouse and pups up while I worked out of town. Nice area if you like the hustle of down town. Close to a lot of Chicago's must sees.

The property was perfectly located for our needs. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice quiet neighborhood.

Nice small little apartment in Chicago. Nice little place.

Had a wonderful time at our stay here.
Very close to just about everything, thank you!

Convenient location for our plans to visit Christmas markets in Chicago and explore the neighborhoods

Great communication. Spacious, clean home. Location can’t be beat! We had the best time exploring the neighborhood. Convenient for walking to food, activities and public transit.

When we walked in there was a bucket in the bedroom due to a leak in the ceiling. I messaged the owner and the initial response was thanks for letting him know and that he couldn’t get anyone out there until Monday. My son, wife and baby left to find other accommodations, due to not feeling comfortable about the water and where it was leaking from. There was no response to try and make up for the unsatisfactory accommodation. When I requested some form of compensation the owner tried to do the right thing by giving us some reimbursement; however, $50, out of the total of $1100+ amount I spent, I don’t believe was commensurate with our hardship experienced - especially since half my family had to go find another place to stay for the weekend.

This somewhat spartan & spare property is in a great neighborhood, close to Wrigley. It is slightly worn, and is in need of updates. The party before us had to contend with a leaking ceiling, we had a drafty back bedroom, and the stairs to lower level main bedroom are tricky. The bed was extremely comfortable, and roomy.
The kitchen is an odd mix of granite countertops with particleboard cabinets and outdated appliances.
It is overall quite comfortable and roomy . The front porch & steps are slanted & treacherous if wet. Still a good spot to watch the neighborhood.

We were very comfortable and happy in Justin’s place. Highly recommended

Older property - so no frills. Clean and convenient. Some electrical features need repairing/upgrading. You do need to climb back stairs for entrance.

Great location and close to Wrigley. It was perfect place for our plans in the area. Clean and description of townhouse was accurate. Would stay here again.
