Nearby to this is the famous 'Monte Sledge', an exhilarating downhill ride through the streets of Funchal on a wicker toboggan, ending just a short stroll from Villa Grandview it's a fun and exciting activity. Adjacent to this is the cable car, which glides over the terracotta roofs below and straight into the heart of the Old Town.
