About this house rental

The Old Cherry Barn is the epitome of a stunning, luxury barn conversion. Once the original cherry barn, it has been restored with every possible comfort. The high vaulted ceilings of the open plan living space create a large and spacious sociable area for friends or family to gather. The three luxury bedrooms, all with ensuite have been named to reflect local Kent produce – Cherry, Hop and Oyster. There is an additional family bathroom and even a shower for the dog! Outside, the barn has a large garden with hot tub and summer house, as well as a large patio for dining or lounging, and a charcoal BBQ. The Old Cherry Barn is the perfect holiday home in all seasons, as it has air conditioning as well a underfloor heating and a wood burner. Nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside, the area offers charming villages to explore, by foot, cycle or car. The historic market town of Faversham is a short drive away, and has a fabulous weekly market, as well as great walks along the creek. The medieval City of Canterbury is also a short drive with its iconic cathedral, and for those wanting to enjoy the coast, where better than a trip to the fishing harbour town of Whitstable famous for its oyster beds.

The Old Cherry Barn was perfect for our holiday in Kent. Peaceful location, yet within easy reach of road and rail networks and only 15 minutes drive to Faversham, an historic town, which has good shopping and excellent choice of restaurants. The house is ideal for sharing with friends/ family. Fabulous open plan living and dining space overlooking the huge garden. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee in the summerhouse. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with the most comfy pillows I have ever slept on! The bathrooms are pristine and the kitchen is fully equipped. This home is the perfect place for a luxurious break in the Kent countryside.

We had a lovely week-long break over Christmas at The Old Cherry Barn. The property is fantastic - very modern fittings, nice bedrooms & bathrooms, kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay, and they even set-up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. Hosts were responsive and helpful with our enquiries too.
