This property was a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. It was also in the shade which meant the bungalows didn’t heat up too much during the day. Everything was clean even toilets for the most part.
Very close to a couple beach bars where the music didn’t finish until around 2am and was very loud.

Perfect location waking up on the beach. Lots of places to chill in the day and lots of hammocks by the beach bar. Rooms are simple but do the job. Rooms not that hot at night especially with the bell of the fan provided. Would love to stay here again
Poor Wi-Fi but that is the same all around the island .

It was right on the beach shore front which was lovely to get out of bed and go to the beach. We also had easy access to walk to nestival which was really good about a 15min walk for us it was through some trees but lovely walk and far enough away to not hear the music. Great bars around it though to eat and drink at.

Nice stay, cozy
There’s not hot water in the shower.

We were a bit apprehensive to stay here given the lack of reviews. We were put to rest when we arrived and the owner said he’s only been up and running for 3 months.
The good points:
- Clean facilities and flushing toilets, always stocked up with toilet paper.
- Shared bathroom, only between c.2 huts and never saw anyone else in there. There are 4 bathrooms to use on site and approx. 10 huts.
- Great location, nearer to the main pier but 15/20 min walk to Long Set Beach via the beach walk (expect to get wet as you need to walk through a clean lagoon, about knee height depending on time of day and where you cross).
- The main pier has a lot more restaurants and shops than long set beach.
- The owner was really nice, asked us how we were each day and helped us when we got food poisoning (from Coco’s Restaurant). You can tell his takes a real pride in the place and is trying his best.
- Comfortable bed & pillows - something that isn’t that easy to find in Asia it seems.
- In the bush experience without too many bugs - bring your mosquito spray! There is a net above the bed.
- Lockable safe & tent.
- Feet wash area outside before going in the hut to keep things clean.
- Plug socket
- Fan - it didn’t get uncomfortably hot that we were desperate for A/C.
- There are some handy rustic hooks & place to put your stuff up off the floor inside.
Bits that would have made our stay better:
- We are not a party couple and so we thought we’d gone far enough away from Mad Monkey & Nest to not be disturbed in our sleep. Unfortunately Lost Boys, next door played blaring loud music until the early hours on the Thursday night we stayed. It went on until 3:40am and there were people screaming and doors slamming etc. I slept through it ok. My other half really struggles to sleep anyway and could hear it through his earplugs.
- The sink is right under a shelf so it’s difficult when brushing your teeth to get your head under to rinse without spitting all over the floor (it’s a wet room style, so doesn’t matter too much).
- The shower I don’t think has a heating element. We didn’t mind this as it was so hot anyway but it fades from luke warm to cold. It also doesn’t point in a convenient place and you end up just taking it off its fixed mount to wash. We didn’t mind but it did make shaving my legs awkward. It also has the pressure of a pressure washer so be careful when turning it on.
- The mosquito net over the bed just about stretched around the bed but it had some small holes in it which means it’s probably not as effective.
- The tent zip is only on the outside meaning zipping it up at night from the inside can be quite awkward.

Beautiful quiet and simple bungalow
Restaurants and the environment are the best
