Fab hotel

The room was very comfortable . Breakfast exceeded expectations . Staff very helpful . Great location . Just near park and some of the best restaursnts in Leamington .

We were concerned that we might not be able to park at hotel as we could not reserve a space . We did get a place , but felt we had to arrive early to secure one .

Pleasant overnight stay.

Good breakfast, big bowl of fresh fruit including strawberries and berries, offered alongside seeds and granola was very much appreciated! Freshly cooked breakfast was also a nice change. Quiet atmosphere at the reception. Parking with electric charger. Staff was pleasant. Central location.

As many people say, the room was very hot. Overall the room is a bit dated; carpet, bathroom sink with two taps...but it was clean and pleasant enough.

Pleasant hotel - night’s sleep spoiled by very hot room

proximity to town centre / car parking

breakfast finished at 10am on Saturday - missed it with no option of refund The room was like a sauna - it was far too hot - parking charge was waved in way of compensation. The room was situated next to two hot water tanks and I couldn’t get the temperature below 25 degrees even with windows open and radiators turned off. I would never stay in this room again. I noticed other guests also complaining re the temperature of their room.

Staid for business & pleasure, clean comfortable, easy accessible to centre.

Hotel well situated in Leamington Centre. Breakfast was good, wide choice.

Breakfast was fantastic and location is great

The room was very hot and we couldn’t open the window as we were disturbed by noise outside with the window shut so it would impossible to open the window and vent and get to sleep. We had disturbed sleep as it was

Our stay was comfortable but the hidden parking charge was not a good start to our stay.

When booking at this Hotel it was not made clear that there would be a £12 charge for parking in the Hotel Parking area. I was told that I was sent a notification stating that there would be a charge for parking but I did not receive this. I really do think that there should be no hidden charges when booking accommodation.

Fine but spoilt by the heat and lack of air conditioning.

We were on an upper floor during exceptionally hot weather. There was no air conditioning unfortunately although ground floor rooms do have it.

Better than expected

Staff were great- friendly and very helpful. Sam on reception was really good, nothing was too much trouble. I booked three rooms and all in the party said they would use The Angel again. Breakfast- couldn't be faulted. Breakfast room and reception were nicely done out.

The hotel seems to be going through some refurb- just needs to get to all parts of the hotel.

A comfortable weekend in a welcoming and well-run hotel.

Helpful and friendly staff. Good quality, substantial breakfast. The hotel is ideally located, just five minutes stroll from the attractive town centre and also just a few minutes on foot to Jephson Gardens.

Unfortunately, we had to climb 32 stairs to reach our room (Room 11) because there was no lift in that part of the hotel. However, there is a lift in another section of the hotel so guests who prefer not to climb too many stairs should ask when booking for a room which has access by lift.

Breakfast good plenty of choice. Location was very good short walk to shops and cafe bars restaurants and independent shops. Enjoyed it but thought quite expensive aera .

Breakfast was phenomenal - i was expecting a continental and got a superb cooked breakfast - just what I needed staff were super helpful and friendly too ;)

paying for the parking wasn't expected - so that was a slight disappointment, and the room wasn't as nicely appointed as website photos showed of other rooms but everything worked and was clean - so overall a good stay
