It wasn't the experience I expected at all—everything was off with the service. The staff was respectful, but that&#
The room we stayed in wasn't as nice as it appeared in the pictures. The chairs were old and peeling, and while everything looked good online, it was a different story in person.
The location was awful, with no internet connection, and the rooms were never cleaned. Every time I needed something, it felt like a hassle, I had to make a trade. It was really unprofessional to have bedding handed to us at the front desk.

Good value hotel for a brief stay
Our room was very good, including shower, mattress, and the atrium/common areas of the hotel. We slept well and the noise level was low. There is ample parking space and we felt safe walking in the area near the hotel.
A negative was there was little of interest in the neighborhood near the hotel, although it was a short drive to major roads leading into the city. There is a beautiful Mexican restaurant nearby (La Casita), but unfortunately their decor was much better than their Tex-Mex cuisine.

I had the worst hotel night ever
Room was clean
I had the worst hotel night of my life. I must emphasize that the hotel and the room were clean and in good condition, spacious and comfortable room, excellent air conditioning. My complaint goes towards the terribleness of the guests and conditions that prevent proper rest. My night at this hotel was a scheduled stop to continue a 20-hour trip, so I was looking for a break that would allow me to replenish my energy, which didn't happen. We were accommodated in room 159, near the back parking lot. Both the entrance and exit doors to that parking lot and the doors to all the rooms around us, including ours, do not have the hydraulic mechanism that allows them to be gently closed, so it was impossible to fall asleep. every time someone came in and out of the hotel, pooom, all you can hear is the door banging. And with a number of smoker guests, these entrances and exits were every 10 minutes as far as you can imagine. Then, at 1am, a "guest" knocked on the door of my room and the door of the entire hallway. When opened, me been extremely scared, the "guest" said he was in the wrong room. terrifying all the guests who came out to see what was happening. How in heel they let a person wander around the hotel and knock on door to door. Really the worst hotel night of my life, very unfortunate given that the hotel has good features but I will not return and I hope that if you want to rest, you will not go either.

Wouldn't stay again even if I had no other choice
Great that it's pet friendly and has breakfast. The rooms are spacious. Some of the staff are very friendly however some are not.
There was several things broken in the room such as the TV, the outlet between beds, the dishwasher, hot water didnt work..! There are no dishes or kitchen soap or dishwasher soap. There was poop on the wall. Most disappointing and disturbing...they had window cleaners on ladders outside my window without warning and I wasn't dressed. When my dog started barking, the manager decided to make us leave. When I explained why they were barking, from the guy outside the window, she said I couldn't walk around the room naked and didn't apologize and continued on to say I wouldn't have to worry about it because I was checking out. Very disturbing, unprofessional, and downright ignorant.

Very good
The rooms were big compared to other motel/hotels in the US in the same price range. Breakfast included was good and room was clean when I arrived at a late hour. Staff was friendly and helpful so good value for the price.
I did not have a car so location is not the best if you are walking everywhere. There is a #10 bus that goes north and south on Central Ave NE every 15 minutes so there is transportation to different areas of the city. A few chain restaurants close by and more diversity of eating places farther from the hotel. Taxi to airport very expensive. And walk-in shower could be cleaned better. Not enough staff for cleaning rooms so arrangements have to be made with the front desk. That is common in many hotels/motels now.
