The room we stayed in wasn't as nice as it appeared in the pictures. The chairs were old and peeling, and while everything looked good online, it was a different story in person.
The location was awful, with no internet connection, and the rooms were never cleaned. Every time I needed something, it felt like a hassle, I had to make a trade. It was really unprofessional to have bedding handed to us at the front desk.

It was ok
A new pancake machine and a few more selections

Our room was very good, including shower, mattress, and the atrium/common areas of the hotel. We slept well and the noise level was low. There is ample parking space and we felt safe walking in the area near the hotel.
A negative was there was little of interest in the neighborhood near the hotel, although it was a short drive to major roads leading into the city. There is a beautiful Mexican restaurant nearby (La Casita), but unfortunately their decor was much better than their Tex-Mex cuisine.

Room was clean
I had the worst hotel night of my life. I must emphasize that the hotel and the room were clean and in good condition, spacious and comfortable room, excellent air conditioning. My complaint goes towards the terribleness of the guests and conditions that prevent proper rest. My night at this hotel was a scheduled stop to continue a 20-hour trip, so I was looking for a break that would allow me to replenish my energy, which didn't happen. We were accommodated in room 159, near the back parking lot. Both the entrance and exit doors to that parking lot and the doors to all the rooms around us, including ours, do not have the hydraulic mechanism that allows them to be gently closed, so it was impossible to fall asleep. every time someone came in and out of the hotel, pooom, all you can hear is the door banging. And with a number of smoker guests, these entrances and exits were every 10 minutes as far as you can imagine. Then, at 1am, a "guest" knocked on the door of my room and the door of the entire hallway. When opened, me been extremely scared, the "guest" said he was in the wrong room. terrifying all the guests who came out to see what was happening. How in heel they let a person wander around the hotel and knock on door to door. Really the worst hotel night of my life, very unfortunate given that the hotel has good features but I will not return and I hope that if you want to rest, you will not go either.

Great that it's pet friendly and has breakfast. The rooms are spacious. Some of the staff are very friendly however some are not.
There was several things broken in the room such as the TV, the outlet between beds, the dishwasher, hot water didnt work..! There are no dishes or kitchen soap or dishwasher soap. There was poop on the wall. Most disappointing and disturbing...they had window cleaners on ladders outside my window without warning and I wasn't dressed. When my dog started barking, the manager decided to make us leave. When I explained why they were barking, from the guy outside the window, she said I couldn't walk around the room naked and didn't apologize and continued on to say I wouldn't have to worry about it because I was checking out. Very disturbing, unprofessional, and downright ignorant.

I would like to study and bring us clean towels so we wasn't able to take a shower the next day

Very quiet. Easy to find.

The rooms were big compared to other motel/hotels in the US in the same price range. Breakfast included was good and room was clean when I arrived at a late hour. Staff was friendly and helpful so good value for the price.
I did not have a car so location is not the best if you are walking everywhere. There is a #10 bus that goes north and south on Central Ave NE every 15 minutes so there is transportation to different areas of the city. A few chain restaurants close by and more diversity of eating places farther from the hotel. Taxi to airport very expensive. And walk-in shower could be cleaned better. Not enough staff for cleaning rooms so arrangements have to be made with the front desk. That is common in many hotels/motels now.

WOW! What a welcome surprise this hotel was! Couldn't understand why it had so few stars rating?????? Bed was just right and sheets were so soft! Very clean and nice size room. Breakfast had hot cooked food that changes each day and a beautiful indoor courtyard to eat. We couldn't have asked for a better more relaxing, comfortable place to stay!
Our room was next to the side entrance and the door kept sticking and screeching every time it was used. It wouldn't go all the way shut so the security feature of needing a card to enter was not effective. It would have been nice to have had a towel bar next to the sink. When you first come in the room there is a light switch but it didn't turn a light on anywhere. The desk lamp base had something icky on it.

Comfy beds
They had all the clocks in the room set and so I set the alarm for 8:30. Come to find out it's 9:30 and they cleaned up breakfast already. $144 for a room and we didn't even get breakfast because of their housekeeping can't make the clocks set at the right time. Not to mention we found a dirty boot in the way top of our closet. There's nasty stuff all over the knob in the shower like they forgot to clean it. This hotel really needs to start focusing more on their guest and not who can get home fastest! It's very distracted when you walk down to get food, and the kitchen lady is down there eating her food already but everything else is gone and than you realize you paid some $200 being this hotel rarely gives your deposit back! And you don't even get to eat breakfast! I will never stay here again! High crime area as well!

The front desk clerk was helpful & nice! Location was great being right off I694. Would stay here again! Biscuits & Gravy in the morning was good!
Communication within the hotel seemed a little off. Got sent to a room that wasn't cleaned that the system showed was. The security doors on the side weren't in the best working condition. Probably weather more than anything.

Liked the beds and the shower had it been a bit cleaner
Shower could have been cleaner. The ottoman could have had screws holding it properly. And the toilet paper holder barely held the toilet paper properly

My husband and I stayed one weekend at the hotel to get respite time away from kids. We were 10 minutes away from home. The hotel room was nice. The issue we had was that there was a loud party in the last night we were there in the hallway (it was midnight), and we asked them to talk to the party people about being quiet. They tried twice to talk to them, and the people would not be quiet. The police should have been contacted to stop the party at the hallway then. We left the hotel in the middle of the night because there was no way we would get any sleep with that party going on. I would not recommend this hotel based on their response to the party in the middle of the hallway.
Better response to dealing with a party going on in the middle of the hotel hallway at midnight.

They give me a dirty room, the dirty filter was left on the floor, they made the beds but never changed the old sheets and blankets. Bugs but me during the night I called the front desk, no answer, they send a text asking about my stay, I send pictures of what I met there and they never send someone to clean. Now I found out they took out $100 out of my account besides the $50 deposit

the hot breakfast, room, and as always you have a SUPER FRIENDLY staff!

The location is near many stores and restaurants.
Some of the staff was extremely rude and unwelcoming, in particular, the front Desk associate by the name of “Antonia” is disrespectful and needs to learn customer service skills. The breakfast server as well, she has negative energy and stands over you during breakfast; she minus well be on your plate.
4.0
spaciousness of the room and cleanliness
First room we were in, the heat did not work and the a/c was on 60. Moved to a larger room, which was very nice
