There was no vending machine near the room, and I had to make a whole travel to the lobby to get some water

We will not be back if you do not trust us and we have to advance $100.

It contained no protein. No meat. Coffee was low quality

The toilet leaked water on the floor. We got nailed an extra $100 for security fee. Never had that before and it won't happen again. I will walk before I pay it. It means you do not trust me but I have to trust you???Idon't think so. The desk clerk indicated the place was corporately owned - thus decisions are made in the ivory palace and the poor desk clerk gets stuck enforcing stupid rules.

Loved the coffee machine. Night staff was very friendly

I offered to provide service dog paperwork apon check in but was told it was unnecessary. However two days later I was charged an excess fee of 112$ which was even more than the room cost.

Not worth your money!!

The location was great, stores, gas station, malls around and close to where we needed to be.

We checked in and wanted to charge us $15 for early checking of arriving an hour early. We proceeded to the room where only one room keys worked and the room was disgusting, only 3 pillows were on the bed and they were yellow, every touch surface was gross and had not been wiped down. The shower curtain have big holes in them. Hair all over and people have been shaving but no cleaning was done in the tub.The armrest of the sofa was black. There was pile of old dirty sheets in the closet. Then proceeded to check the pool and the water was foggy and we could barely see the bottom which we did not used as the water has not been cleaned for ages. The hotel is outdated and needs repair in every area. Thank God we stayed just for one night and in the morning went for breakfast and they barely had anything. No fruits, just some lukewarm gravy and small biscuit, muffins, cereal & coffee. Staff was nice but would not go above & beyond but does not look like there is anything anyway they can do as it all comes from upper management. At check out, they would say thank you & goodbye and try to get you off as they know you have so many things to complain about.

It’s close to shopping

They didn’t clean very good, we couldn’t see out of our mirror, there was a pee stain on the blanket. We were there for 3 days and not once cleaned or restocked even after we requested it to be done. We ended up grabbing our own stuff as well as cleaning the mirror so we could see.

I called booking.com to see about getting a refund cause we were told we couldn't cancel/change

The fact that we were close to the destination of the trip

Alot-the hot tub was not working-which we were told hasn't been in use for 3 years and the pool was not in good standards-the only reason we picked that hotel is I'm a rewards member there and it said they had a pool and hot tub but couldn't use-we smelled drugs walking through the hallway-our door latch seemed like it was broke-very hard to open and then making sure it locked when we left-very unhappy with the stay.

Paid to much for what I received.

The location was perfect for our stay.

The door to our room was extremely hard to open and shut, the room could have been cleaned a lot better. Was disappointed in how well the pool was kept, looked like a huge construction zone in the area. We planned on staying till closer to our check out time but due to the fire alarm going off and your staff who clearly were not trained to deal with the situation we decided to leave.

Location was easy to find and located near where I needed to be the next day. Mall and restaurants were close to hotel. Staff was was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel could use some updating. There was a crack in the sink, and it was obvious that the stool had been worked on. Odd structure in corner, covered in frayed carpeting. Remove instead of cover up.

Would explore alternative choices in the area before selecting this specific AmericInn.

Breakfast was below the norm for hotels in this price range. The location was rather accessible from and to the Interstate.

A little better cleaning in the bathroom around stools. Hallways to rooms should replace badly stained carpet or very deep clean. Breakfast selections below par for hotels with similar rates in the area.

The bed was comfortable but housekeeping rushed and was not as detailed at cleaning.

Came in for Iowa graduation. Great location. Staff was very nice and professional.

Cleanliness of the bathroom. Very disappointed. Rust around the toilet and floor which seems like could be taken care of for paying almost $300/ night. Hair on the floor .

Needs a remodel

Bed was comfy and nice.

Very tired place. Old, worn out. Had a stage in the corner of the room - gather it was an old boarded-up whirlpool tub maybe? No soap first day, second day the shampoo disappeared.

Didnt stay now give me my 235 dollars back

Room was dirty, hair in the fridge that hadnt been cleaned and bathtub, drips of something on the bed skirt ,bugs, yellow stained stinky pillow cases and sheets, and towels, also have pictures room was 135 but charged my account 235 still waiting for my money back stayed 15 minutes long enough to take pictures than canceld and went somewhere else this is the most disgusting room Ive ever bn in and th only reason I needed a room for my husband was having brain surgery and I needed to crash for 4 hrs .

The worst travel experience in my life.

Absolutely NOTHING. In all my years of travel I have never encountered such a rude, disrespectful staff. Contacted the Corporate office and received no assistance, it is a franchise. I would never recommend this location.

The staff and management. When we arrived for check in they did not honor my reservation. The property had emaied me 48 hours earlier confirming it, but when we arrived they stated it was canceled. They offered the same rooms and nights, but instead paying $650 they now wanted $1,404. It was the night before my daughters graduation and the town was sold out. Booking.com stated the reservation was still active but the manager at the location said it was they would not honor that price. There were a few other families in the same situation, this location does a bait and switch and blames it on booking.com. This location should be removed as an option.
